The USA has been traditionally left out of the count.
All reliability figures have been arbitrarily made up.
The introduction clip shows the teams setting off from Buckingham Fountain in Chicago, Illinois. Props to ChicagoMike for sniffing out the starting line way before CBS wanted us to!
1. Svartsengi, Iceland (Confirmed)
Icelandic newspapers have reported the first, and possibly second, leg run here. The original lengthy news article no longer exists online, but Visir still gives us some information. Ignore the photograph on that site, it is a random Amazing Race photo from Singapore. Reported first by Slowhatch on TWoP here. PrincessCub from TWoP says in this post that his girlfriend also caught the teams arriving in Iceland around 14 Aug.
2. Oslo, Norway (Confirmed)

3. Stockholm, Sweden (Confirmed)
TarJunkie999 has found the Absolut Ice Bar in Stockholm, which matches the Early Show clip.
4. Berlin, Germany (Confirmed)
Thanks to CalTarantula for the information, whose wife saw racers at the Ostbahnhof Train Station. Look for Don/Mary Jean and Avi/Joe to stay until at least here. This has been confirmed from Brandenburg Gate in the Early Show clip.
5. Budapest, Hungary (Confirmed)
Aaron of TAR3 described his 'surreal experience' of catching TAR6 in action while overseas. On his website, he was in Budapest, Prague or Vienna at that time. Budapest has been confirmed by the Early Show clip. Aaron says he saw someone with annoying hair. Believing that is Adam. (Don't see blue hair on Jonathan.)
6. Shanghai, China (30% reliable)
From Wayne Reid on this Google Group, the race passed by Shanghai. Sonic speculates Taipei could be a possibilty, but I haven't seen other mentions anywhere else.
Leave in space for a country with dark-skinned people. India? Sub-Saharan Africa?
Also, SurfingGirl, a new poster at Metropolis, has noted that the final leg could run through Oahu, Hawaii. However, Hawaii wouldn't be listed as a country. No new information has been given even after probing from other posters. Rating this spoiler as 20% reliable.
