For those of you who are new to this board, this is how we do it: Anyone watching Episode 13 in the US and Canada at its first showing (9 PM Eastern, 8 PM Central) tonight, please post real-time updates of what is happening on the show. This thread should be the ONLY one we use on this board to discuss tonight's show until AFTER MIDNIGHT Eastern, 11 Central, 10 Mountain. This permits people on the West Coast to read the board before tonight's episode without knowing who wins the Race, if they should so choose. Thus, Mountain Time Zone people also should post in this thread while they watch the show and for an hour afterward. Anyone may post here -- there is no official "update poster". Once again, I'm at work, so don't look for anything from me.... Enjoy the show, everyone! May the best team win (sorry, Guidos, that leaves you out)!

F&M are now saying they won more than R&B because they found love again. The Guidos open one of their envelopes in Alaska and it says Rob and Brennan have crossed the finish line. So it ended like it was during the whole show with the Guidos not included with other teams. They always were the outsiders. Why did Lenny look so much like a grouch at the finish line? Even though I predicted Frank and Margarita to win on Sleeeve's prediction post, I really wanted Rob and Brennan to win. I just felt it was being set up to be a Frangarita win.Yay Rob and Brennan. Now I just have to wait for 3 weeks to see it on TV here in Australia, unless of course the wonderful 7 Network decides to throw it aside in favour of other programs, because it's on Tuesday nights, and Christmas Day is on Tuesday, they might decide to have smaltzy Christmas shows instead. Anyway, at least I am now so looking forward to seeing it because Rob and Brennan won. I wouldn't have been too disappointed if Frangarita had won, though. At least Guido didn't win. I love the way they got the message. They had to do the cold water dive to get it. Pity they both didn't have to dive in.

I agree the show was alot of fun -- and strangely a number of people that I know (like my sister and her husband and my mother) who don't have any interest in Survivor watched this show regularly. And no, they have no idea that I run TARS.com -- it's jsut never come up in conversation..Anyways, the only thing I found annoying was the final editing -- as I noted in the above ( http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/DCForumID20/360.shtml#15 ) once you saw F&M talking so much trash while R&B were being so "humble" (and that shot of Rob not wanting to win by reserving extra seats on the cell phone) it was obvious that R&B were the winners. ...that said, I still have to question the CBS promotion of the show -- for a show that was all about "testing relationships" you'd think that someone other than the "best friend" team (which was probably the "weakest" relationship) would win. -SB

The lawyers went through the Holland Tunnel which goes into NYC and then into Queens, which is a much quicker and more direct route. So much for home court advantage!

MY BOYS WON. WHEEWW HOOO !!!!!!  F&M were horrible in this episode, I could not even muster any good feelings for Margarita. They looked like sore losers. As for R&B, all of you that said they were boring, well then I'm sorry if good, decent guys win and people don't feel like it was a just ending, then that is really screwed up. And finally, THE GUIDOS, what a great ending for them, lost somewhere in Alaska, and finding out that it was all over and they missed it, was just desserts, good payback for their bad deeds.
