"RE: TAR E1 East Coast Update Thread" Well, I was certainly impressed (as I always seem to be with this show) with the premiere episode....I'm already loving this cast and the race itself. Hopefully it won't be all physical, though, and I think we see that with the hidden bus tickets and the mask challenge for next week's show. So far I'm loving Josh/Steve, Amanda/Chris, Reichen/Chip, and David/Jeff. Tian/Jaree aren't so good, and Cindy is annoying, but I like Russell. lol....the main reason I'm loving Amanda/Chris....did you notice that Chris called her "Flo" when she was whining on the trek to the pit stop? I like the way they made it 90 min..i cant remember if the others were 90 min or not but it sure made it easier to follow the teams. I remember last season it was hard to know where everyone was. I think the way they split the planes and buses up helped group the teams. BTW i know reichen is gay but he is HOT   Top

I DEFINATLY was hoping the Tian & Jaree (totally fake made up names) get eliminated ASAP - could they be any more annoying !!! that first leg was hell, I was waiting for the traffic controller guy to have a heart attach - geez ! don't they screen these people ???? anyways, at this point there are still too many people to really decide who I like...the nfl moms are lame (I mean who takes the FF on the first leg ?? duh.), the virgin couple arent quite annoying as I was expecting but they are like 20 so 12 year virgins mean they started dating about 2nd grade so whatever - its SO not a big deal...anyways blabbering on so... "RE: TAR E1 East Coast Update Thread" Well...Rob and Brennan did win by taking the Fast Forward in the first leg. Monica and Sheree don't seem as bright as I thought. So far the only two teams I dislike are the models and Jon of Kelly and Jon. But it's only a mild annoyance. In Millie and Chuck's defense, it's CBS who plasters the lame "virgins" every time they show their graphic. It looks like they only talked about it during one interview, but they kept showing clips of them interspersed in it. Still, I think their "let's make friends" attitude, might cost them in the end.   Top

Maybe their status as virgins changes while they are on the show and the producers are providing an ongoing 'virginity state indicator'. I can picture it now... They show the exterior of a hotel... They slowly pan up to the 10th floor... A digital clock is slowly ticking off the the time down in the right corner of the screen... 12:10AM... 12:11AM... Suddenly the word VIRGINS in the lower left corner starts to pulse... There is the sound effect of a bell <ding> and simultaneously the word changes to a big angry red NON-VIRGINS... R&B didn't have the knowledge that comes with seeing other races unfold. We now know the bunching points negate any lead gained by the FF. It is useful for catapulting out of the back of the pack, and for getting some extra rest in the middle to late stages of the race. These reality show contestants need a reality check!   Top
