It's the second-last episode of the season and your job is to tell us who you think will be eliminated or if it'll be a non-elimination (who would finish last and lose their backpacks)? Team TARsucks Spoilers, great job of nailing Ron/Kelly as our non-eliminee last place finishers last week! Our team picking record is now up to 4-5-0-1. The Rules, the same old brak brak 1. Please put the name of your choice for this week's result IN THE SUBJECT HEADING! This is really easy. Just erase the bit where it says "Re: TAR 7, Episode 11 ... TAR Fans, It's Time to Vote!" and replace with your vote, i.e., Freddy/Kendra. This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Nicknames are tougher to tally unless they're REALLY obvious without actually reading your vote, so please save the nicknames for inside your post and only use their proper names in the subject header. The dark appearance in the double-decker detour gives me pause to think that it could be G/M running late. But like LibraRising above, I'm going to take into account MBR's reputation as well as the Jamaica spoiler saying that R/A were NOT one of the final 3. I think the Phillipines and NY Post news articles were just bad journalism/gossip, not a legitimate spoiler. Plus I just want to see them get eliminated.   Top

"Rob/Amber" Beacuase we know R/K and U/J are in Puerto Rico, presumably close together. And because I assume U/J win the race, I assume R/K and U/J are ahead of a third team, not behind them. And because Romber have run a nearly perfect race thus far, I assume it'd be easier for U/J and R/K to be farther ahead of Meredith/Gretchen than Romber. I'm going with the RaceyGirl spoiler that Uchenna/Joyce and Ron/Kelly were seen in Puerto Rico. Good enough for me to say they are safe. 2. We were shown Rob/Amber a fair amount in the previews so I think they're safe -- with TAR, it's more of a tossup as to what the previews mean as compared to Survivor, though. 3. There's an article out there that does not have Meredith/Gretchen listed as one of the final three. 4. I don't know a thing about MBR, so it's hard for me to get into his (her?) spoiler that Rob/Amber doesn't make it -- I'd need to read up on it and find out who this person is and what the spoiling history is -- in the meantime, until I know more, I'm not going with this spoiler. 5. It's pretty amazing to think that M/G could actually beat out R/A in this race, so I'm gonna go with M/G as my eliminees. If it's R/A, then c'est la vie. Scratch and sniff "Tsk, tsk. Some of us have been lulled into a false sense of security because we keep counting them out and they must be invincible. Not so. I have much more faith in a Phillipino news clipping than MBR. I mean, come on people...if it didn't come from somebody with Admin status, would we even still be talking about it? Otherwise, when you read something blythe and trite like "A little birdy told me...thanks little birdy!" you flame it and move on. When somebody drops a steamer like that it's usually discounted. And when I see so many of you saying that you're going with the pack and guessing Romber it makes me very very disappointed. Use your critical thinking caps people!!! Ever since the background spoiler died, I've taken NOTHING for granted. Romber won't win, but they're not going out today. Even if M/G (whom I'm very proud of) are on the May 11th show and not just because they take the top 4, it's because they were a special case - they were the oldest couple to make it the farthest and they just never gave up...yadda yadda. So, if you all listen to little "birdys" now, I've got some real estate to sell you in Florida...   Top

Eliminating one team this week would leave the final 3 for the whole last double episode. There's not much drama then until the final sprint to the finish line. Part of the suspense is seeing who the last 3 teams are - why give it away this 'early' in the race? Making this a NEL leg would still leave 4 teams for the final 2 hour show, giving us some suspense in the first hour to see who's eliminated. If there is an elimination in this leg, that means the first hour next week is NEL, so why bother tuning in for the first half, just show up for the second half when the real fun begins. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think this is another NEL week. On the other hand, my record is Zilch Zip Nada, so I'm pretty sure I'm wrong.   Top

This is done to get viewers to watch in hope they will shoot themselves in the foot. IMO, they will, but not his week. "Merideth/Gretchen" I really enjoyed team Geritol up until about 2 weeks ago when they REALLY started grating on my nerves. Gretchen is so so irritating and unsupportive of Merideth, and down right pessimistic. I almost heaved last week when she patted herself on the back and said that she and Merideth had won in the top two all on their own merit...if it hadn't been for Joyce and Uchenna, they would have been toast. They are inept at challenges, and have to be led around by U/J(not saying that's such a bad strategy on U/J's part!) PLEASE let them be TOAST tonight!   Top

If MBR says that Romber get eliminated this episode largely because of something that happens on Baker Street (which is MBR's claim), then so be it. I also presume that Romber get yielded this episode, and that's why we have the episode title of "The Devil Made Me Do It" -- whoever yields them uses that as a reason. That also would explain why Rob is trying to drive the double-decker bus. I should note that we received a report a while ago that said that the rumor around Romber was that they finished third. I have the choice of believing a RUMOR, or what MBR claims is a FACT. I'll side with MBR on that one.   Top
