If Rob and Amber are eliminated, it would likely come as a result of having been yielded.The way things are being presented to us now, they are being shown to have alienated themselves from all of the other teams. I don't see much wrong with that in the sense that this is a race and it's every team for itself (no hand-wringing from me)...but there is always the possibility that Romber's hubris will be rewarded by a conspiracy of sorts by the other teams. When they're in the lead, Romber comes off as being a refreshing example of how to go "cut-throat" for all the gold. Once they're trailing at at the mercy of teams they've snubbed, it could well be a different story. I think the latter is the story that the producers want to tell this time around. Karma ("Kahma"), and all that.

I'd say based one what has happened so far, these are choices for the way they get eliminated...1) A fan leads them the wrong way on purpose
- All this amazing ##### luck from fans who magically appear out of nowhere to help them could end their game. I think its a big possibility for a fan who hates them, to suck up to them to bring them the wrong way. Romber will be so sucked into their fame and won't realize they are being taken the wrong way. 2) Amber has to make a decision
- We saw their stall at the Fast Forward in the Double episode when oldies were non-eliminated. Amber was standing around, knowing nothing and waiting for stupid crap. She probably is in a Roadblock and is forced into making a decision and without Rob prodding her, she fails. 3) An unlucky form of transportation
- Perhaps they will go into a language barrier somewhere along the way, with a taxi driver or a bus driver and end up getting on the wrong bus or going the wrong way. One bad taxi driver could take them down, especially since that would depend on luck, which is the only reason they are getting very far.

It will be on a road block that is too hard for Amber to do. Currently, she's behind 2 so will have to do some that Rob might have been better suited for (Kelly is in the same position.)I don't think a mechanical breakdown will slow them down enough to get them eliminated simply because Rob does seem to be a jack of all trades and able to fix/manage a lot of things. And as long as he believes in his luck, he'll see any obstacle as an opportunity for him. Should a cab break down and he can't fix it, he'll find another way to solve the problem. He does come off as being arrogant at times but his confidence is also impressive. I'm not a Romber fan at all, and don't wish for them to win, but I do get great pleasure at yelling at them each week and they don't grate on my nerves like some of the eliminated teams did.

Zing - First off, welcome to the forums, and a great question to ask as your first post. My hats off to you.For Romber to be eliminated, it will probably be directly related to a few indirect items. 1. Amber will prove to be horrible at a task that Rob should have obviously taken on. Of course, Rob will have finished his 6 long before. 2. Add that to a yeild. 3. I feel all the teams recognize Romber as a threat now. The other teams will bond together and work at removing Romber. This action will not work, but it will work just enough to keep them out of first during later episodes and may put them far enough behind where they cannot get that critical flight. 4. Down to the final three, It becomes a time factor, not a footrace. I don't know if U/J or L/A could outrun Romber. Romber would have to be far behind to lose if they make the final three. As much as I hate to admit it, Romber is a competitive and smart team. However, with the combination of the background spoiler, betting spoiler and how many bridges they have burned, we may have an outcome in this race that will be satisfying. As for Rob? This will be the second time Amber has cheated him out of 1 million dollars. Will his pride let him marry her after this?
I'd marry her if he didn't. She's delicious

Most reasonable reason:
Amber could not do a roadblock so they become the last team and are eliminated.Interesting reasons:
1. They are being yielded in later legs and become the last team, but are saved by non-elim. So they lose all their $ and possession. At the next leg they can't beg any $ and are unable to borrow from other teams like M/G and L/A. So they waste time begging $ and are again the last team to arrive and eliminated. 2. In case they are the final 3: They are the first team to arrive the finish line, but Phil tells them that they break a rule during the last leg and get a 30-minute penalty, then they wait and see other team arrive and take the prize. At this stage I think it could be said that most of the teams left are good teams. And I don't think there's any doubt Rob/Amber are a good time - this has nothing to do with if folks like them or not.I said above that I thought Rob/Amber would get caught with Amber having to do a roadblock that would be better suited for Rob, but as Kary1371 points our, Rob & Amber are as even as they can be in who's done the roadblocks. So, I'm now thinking Amber won't be forced to do a demanding challenge that Rob should have done, and really I think it's unfair to Amber to think so. She has certainly not been lacking in the physical ability department so far. It seems to me good teams get eliminiated because: 1) The take a chance by leaving the rest of the pack. They either get lost, miss a connecting flight, or have a connecting flight delayed.
or
2) they miss part of a task or a clue and have to go back. I'll go with taking a different flight and getting the connector delayed - resulting in them getting to a pitstop too late (if they are eliminated at all).

I wasn't a fan of them on Survivor, but on TAR they are great. Smart(it's about time someone thinks of paying a cab and follow it to the right destination!!), very lucky (they got lost and stumbled upon the place where they were going??!! there are a lot more example for this, but hey, that's the most obvious one!), though Amber was proven to be a bit undecisive (which might be the key to their relationship's success, but could be their downfall), but I don't think so... I think Amber has proven that when it's her time she can step up and do what she needs without complaining about it (which is already a lot easier to watch than many others!) I might be wrong and they might get eliminated at any time, but I have a feeling, unless they get lost (can they without by accident getting to the right place??) or miss a connection or something similar to that, but unless something like that happens to them, I am thinking they are final 3. I don't say they will win, but I think they will be in the running... We will see, but that is just what I think and feel right now!

Guess I should post my own 2 cents, huh?
Let me clarify that I am actually a fan of Romber and I will probably view their upcoming nuptuals on May 24th. I cheered on Survivor Allstars and I'm cheering now. Do I agree with their behavior and all their actions? No. But Amber has such a can-do attitude/easygoing demeanor and Rob is deceptively intuitive (realize that even though he's a construction foreman, the guy has a degree in psychology) that I can't help but appreciate their skills. But the reality of all the spoilers would have to indicate that they will not win. SO, therefore, I was curious how it was going to happen. You've all had some very intelligent and interesting insight I must say! Personally, I'm going to have to lean toward the scenario where a number of things "consipire" against them at the same time: They have a problem with transportation, they are yielded, AND have just plain bad luck. It will be a combination. SO, here is my prediction on the final outcome. Take it as you will. 5: Meredith/Gretchen
4: Ron/Kelly
3: Lynn/Alex
2: Rob/Amber
1: Uchenna/Joyce Yes, I believe the betting and team photo spoilers. But this is my guess and I'm sticking to it!

I didn't see it that way at all. While Rob thought they were dumb to not use it on him, he knew it was prudent not to use it this time as they were in front of most of the other teams. Anyone else get a chuckle over L/A amazement/disappointment that they didn't get yielded by Romber? I didn't care for Romber on Survivor either, but I find myself rooting for them to do well now. Like others on here, I don't care if they actually win, but I'd love to see them finish in second or third. I haven't seen Rob do anything that much more shocking than what other teams have done in the past, and I thought the meat challenge maneuver was a brillant strategy. They've been smart racers and supportive of each other. Its been refreshing to have a season with fewer teams constantly sniping at each other.

Not by a yield this time, at least.Yes, that was a terrific job on Rob's part of avoiding a yield...that is, if Ron and Kelly were really considering using it on him and Amber. I'm not sure that even occurred to Ron and Kelly until after the opportunity had passed and they watched Rob and Amber sail away from them on a rickshaw.
And, as this leg remains unfinished, Rob might simply have talked Ron out of yielding another threat. Rob and Amber are clearly the strongest team in this competition and, as such, I think that if they were to be eliminated, it would be via the actions of another team (or group of teams). That's why I still think that, if Rob and Amber are to be eliminated, it would likely be because of a yield.
Note the sense of urgency from Rob when it came to getting to the yield before all other teams.
He knows that his is a marked team and that a failure to get to the yield first could spell his and Amber's demise in the race (given that those who get to it before him are keen enough to use it). And, of course, there is still one yield remaining in the race.

I don't know why so many people do not like them....Lin/Alex are so ANNOYING and so JEALOUS of Rob and Amber being on the show. Blame the producers for asking them to participate if you have a problem, but stop whining/complaining about how they play the game. If all the other teams spent more time concentrating on their own race instead of Rob/Amber, maybe they would do better!!!!

Anyone remember how Amber does with gross food? I went back to the Outback site and all they talk about is Kimmi and how she faced of against Tina and won (so I guess Tina was the one with the most difficulty with gross food on that team, but did Amber have a hard time as well? It's not there and I don't remember...)

Amber ate something that looked like a cockroach. At first, she was fine. Then she put her hand over her mouth as she was still chewing at the end, but (unlike Tina) she didn't throw it up.I wouldn't say either one would be very good at gross food. But I doubt that it matters.
