Brendon in the lead. One Jokers member is saying the Meows planned on letting Brendon win (probably figuring he'd target Britney, Ragan, and Kathy before them), and if so, they're doing a pretty convincing job. But the ones outside that alliance are even further back right now: Lane's second, then Hayden, and then we enter a vast realm known as 'forget it'. Of course, with the Blingie in play, it doesn't matter what Brendon does here, except to his immediate family. Any non-Meow HoH is automatically a joke with a singularly pointless punchline we all know and are heartily sick of: 'so much for that plan...' Watch Matt try to nominate an HoH Brendon with the Blingie just to see if it works.

LAST EDITED ON 08-13-10 AT 10:01 AM (EST)Matt, Ragan, and Britney... who are the most likely to be the nominations, as well... Brigade is planning to try to put Ragan/Britney on the block, and Matt is at least telling them that it might be best for the non-nominated of the three of them to win the POV to save one of them... Personally, Matt probably doesn't care what happens this week. If he happens to be on the block Thursday night, he whips out the blingie/Diamond POV and will put Kathy or maybe the non-nominated Ragan/Britney back on, if possible... I almost thought that he would be doomed if he was on the block and Kathy won the POV, saving one of Ragan/Britney, which might force him to put up a Brigade member if Brendon was safe because he's HoH, Kathy would be safe by winning the POV, and whoever Kathy pulled off would also be safe.... but whoever wasn't Brigade on the block would just get an at worst 3-2 heave-ho...

21. "The (current) Plan According To Enzo." |
From what Brendon's apparently told him, it goes like this:1. Nominate Britney and -- surprise! -- Lane. 2. Play Veto. 3. Anyone other than Britney saves Lane. Britney presumably saves herself. 4. Use the backdoor slot to put Ragan up. 5. Vote out your favorite! If this turns into Britney vs. Lane, then Meow votes kick in and Britney goes home: Matt keeps the Blingie in his pocket unless hi Genius just forces him to make a move. Britney vs. Ragan... Lane wants to keep Britney around a little longer and Ragan doesn't have enough enemies to take him completely off the jury threat list: out he goes. Ragan vs. Lane and the Meow votes carry the day again -- no 20K for you. If Matt does do something, it's to save Lane. Assume he stays Meow-solid all the way and barring very weird veto scenarios, one of Ragan & Kathy goes up. Kathy vs. Britney is probably a loss for Britney -- get rid of the demonstrated challenge risk. A quote from Britney: "He doesn't care as long as its one of us, any of us is as good as the other. I wanted him to be miserable this week. I wanted nobody to talk to him, nobody to laugh at his stupid jokes. Instead everyone will be hanging out with him laughing, freaking disgusts me." Just imagine how she'll feel if she's the next one in the jury house. She's said Brendon deserves to be miserable, but he's at least a few days postponed from it. And Ragan? Crying in the Have-not room. Enzo just told Brendon about Britney and Ragan crying, then passed on that neither one was going to talk to him because they didn't want to be fake. Brendon's approximate response: "Why are they going to stop now?" Ugliness, already in progress.

I think Brendon will go Britney & Kathy with his noms, then if neither of them wins the PoV the noms will stand. If one of them does win the PoV and come down off the block, Ragan will go up.

24. "'Could it be we went a little too far?'" |
Ehhh... could be...Britney is on the verge of wondering if karma rose up to take her down after all the things she said about Brendon and Rachel, openly admitting that she pushed things past where they should have gone just because they got to her so. Ragan, on the other hand, knows he's being punished for his DR comments, his eviction comments, his actions during the competitions, possibly his sabotage and, to use the term he's been reserving for himself, for turning into a douche. Ragan has spent a lot of time crying and hating himself for it because he hates players who cry and now? That's him. It's a misery contest in the Have-Not room: winner gets to spend a week with Rachel. (For the record: they both went up to Brendon's HoH reveal, but just sat on the bed quietly and left fairly quickly.) As noted earlier, Brendon isn't exactly storming the house in a fury of vengeance: he read out his letter from his sister, was glad he got a picture of Rachel, and talked about possible plans with the Meows minus Matt. (The Meows, BTW, are still nervous -- especially Enzo, who sees Lane as too close to Britney and Matt as paired with Ragan. He's actually halfway talking himself into liking Brendon, probably in the name of reinforcements.) Initial nominations are still too much in flux to call solidly, but Brendon's afraid of an initial Britney-Ragan pairing because Matt could win veto and pull one of them off. The Kathy Preservation Society (motives unknown) is still in existence, and it keeps adding members -- but for now, Brendon may be halfway thinking for himself. With a lot of advice from Enzo, who can think for everyone. Scientists included. Kathy is doing her usual slither-in with the current HoH, warning Brendon not to cry over his pictures like Ronnie did. (Brendon's response: "I'm a man. I'll do it in the bathroom.") Matt is playing up the I'm-at-risk angle for all he's worth, which likely means the smirk didn't even leave his face when he fell asleep. Hayden's completely safe -- -- and Ragan has announced his plans to sleep through the entire week. The show's doing really well in the outpay department this year.

I think Brendon should go after Britney. She's going to win the quiz type comps now that Rachel is gone. Lane is a good idea for the pairing.I don't usually watch the Showtime, but last night I checked it for HOH news. When I tuned in, Britney was telling Hayden how she just wants to be in the house with all nice people, meaning all but Brendan, and doesn't want to leave. Hayden was not helping to cheer her up. He told her the jury house would be great, she would be treated like a princess. She was clearly distressed, not what she wanted to hear, reiterated she wants to keep playing. A moment before she was pretending she isn't really playing, just wants to hang out, but Hayden called her on that -- if you like hanging out, you can do that on jury. (With Rachel, lol)

How can nominating Lane and Britney serve to avenge Rachel??? Wasn't that his stated goal? With Enzo, those two are the only ones Rachel half-liked. To get revenge for her, he should nominate two of Matt, Kathy, Hayden and Ragan.

LAST EDITED ON 08-14-10 AT 02:34 AM (EST)"veto comp queen Britney" Really??? If you were Brendon, you'd be afraid of Britney's challenge abilities over yours? Isn't he the strong, athletic guy?? "from my perspective, a person who acts like a friend and then turns his or her back is a worse enemy than someone who never pretended to like me." But from Brendon's perspective, the only one that should count, he's too dumb to see that the guys are forming an allliance. How do you expect he would see that Britney was only pretending to be friendly? Anyway, Ragan, Hayden and Kathy all pretended to like them and Kristen really did like Rachel. No, Brendon would nominate (ETA: or backdoor since nominations are already in) Britney for his own personal reasons. Not for his game, not for avenging Rachel but only because she made him look like the fool he really is.

Britney is the one who knows all about how BB works, what comps there will be, what things she needs to memorize, how people will answer questions. Didn't Brendon pick her as most underestimated? There will be more comps that involve game memory coming up, and I think Britney is very capable of winning them. They count the numbers, how many vetoes ... she's won the last two, has she not? Did the guys thing Rachel had superior athletic skills? No, they just saw she had won two HOH's and that made her scary. I think they count who has won what, and Britney is a threat, as is Matt. But Matt spazzes out on stuff involving counting, or says he does, whereas Britney always has her head in the game.

On BBAD, Ragan and Britney were in the HN's room. Britney was "comforting" a weeping Ragan. He literally had tears streaming down his face. He wondered how he would survive being locked in the jury house with, first Rachel, adn then, Brendon. Britney did what she always does - pretended to care while painting her nails, and at intervals, blowing on them. She reassured Ragan that POV would save him. Whatever the POV competition was, Britney declared, it would be something more physical than mental, because the producers had gotten signs together with the hamsters names on them to set up in the BY.Everyone else, including Lane, were sitting at the kitchen table having dinner together. They all appeared to be pretty cool with one another. The guys were chowing down and talking. Kathy was the only one who seemed just slightly out of her confort zone. And even she was more than civil with Brendon. Brendon seemed very relaxed. Later, Lane was called to the DR, while Haydon, Enzo and Matt had gathered in the HOH room, sans Brendon. When Lane finished his DR session, he joined them there. Enzo proceeded to make everyone laugh, as per usual. This was at about 12:30- 1o am, EST.

are Brendon, Ragan, Lane, Enzo, Hayden, and KathyBritney will host, Matt is either audience or Britney's assistant... Speaking of Matt, Enzo/Hayden were seen talking that if it somehow becomes Lane/Matt, they would VTE Matt... which is very moot because of the Diamond POV, but still... cracks may be forming in the Brigade...
Oh, and they seem to be out of fish food, because Kathy doubled their meals after about 4 of them perished early in the season...
Julie did say that the HoH would be 'free from the threat of eviction' as usual on Thursday, so Matt can't use the Diamond POV for the ultimate coup wipeout of Brendon... but he can certainly ruin whatever plans that Brendon does have...

Here is the short version of what's happened since Rachel came back: ##### flies. The slightly longer version is that everyone is an idiot (and Ragan won veto prior to that) Rachel tries to get in a fight with Ragan, and Ragan shuts her down to the point where the people who hate him agree that he won the argument. Ragan is sulking and made sure to take his veto around with him for some reason Britney tried to explain away her message, and while it seems likely Big Brother did ##### with the messages (Lane, Enzo, and Hayden all said something about the Brigade in their messages and none of it showed up), it's not really working. Lane decided to deride Britney for no reason and effectively raise suspicion and sever ties in an alliance WHILE HE'S ON THE BLOCK FOR EVICTION Enzo is creating a huge storm of fury right now because Britney accused him of being the saboteur...even though he's done more accusing and suspicions than anyone else in the house. Kathy has decided it's a good idea to hide in Rachel's butt for twenty four hours, because we all know she doesn't do anything else. Matt may be getting suspicious of the brigade finally, and Hayden seems to want to ditch Matt despite the fact that he's STILL the only Brigade member to win an individual challenge. This house makes Jessie look good.

Scale of 0 to -10: quantified in production integrity, how badly do they want Matt going up today? The rats (and especially the head rat) need to see one of their precious twists go through, Brendon's coming around on the contestant they deliberately sabotaged and probably won't put her up, Ragan's fears now have him thinking breaking up the perceived threesome (Lane, Enzo, Hayden) is the worst thing to do... (He wants Brendon out, of course. Because an alliance isn't scary. Because he isn't sure he can win HoH. But mostly because he's afraid of everything in the world, plus he gets to take extra revenge on Rachel.) And Brendon can't even see a threesome. That doesn't leave a lot of options. If Britney is saving herself -- if the one who's turned out to be the hyperfan can move within the game well enough to protect her presence after that bullet to the foot -- then the replacement nominee has to be Matt. Matt, whom Enzo doesn't trust any more: he and the other Meows pretty much kicked him out of the alliance last night. Put up Matt, and there's enough Meow votes plus Britney to ensure Lane stays. Smirk Boy would head out the door -- -- if not for the latest stupid twist. So how hard is the DR pushing Matt onto the block? How badly do they really want Britney gone? Just what did those latest script revision pages say? Thursday? Is going to be ugly.

54. "Bingo." |
Matt's up.Britney is going home. From Jokers, with some reconstruction attempt edits. My italics added for emphasis: 'Matt pulls Hay into the CR and tells him he's sure that there's a power out there that can change things. He says he doesn't have it, but thinks someone else might and that they might use it on him...he's saying it's not over...saying anyone but Kathy or Bren would use it... Matt: I think it is a strong possibility which is why I am not totally pissed off. We just need to keep it to ourselves. He tells him that anyone could have it. Hayden asks if he's talking about a comp. Matt says no that it would be something America voted on that it's already out there. He says Enzo could have it, Hayden might, Brit or Ragan, he says I might have it, then quickly says, but I know that I don't. Enzo there now...Matt telling him he thinks there's a power out there and to not out the brigade yet. Matt explains the same thing to Enzo. Matt: I am keeping up hope for it. Enzo: I aint got *****. Matt: Whoever does have it, can't say any ways. Keep the dream alive. In past seasons, this is the weeks it gets used. Matt asks them if they are still going to split the votes. Enzo/Hay say they are. Ragan enters. They are still talking about whether America voted for something. Matt saying he's holding out hope. Matt leaves. Ragan sitting in the CR looking upset." Imagine how upset he's going to look around 5:30 p.m. PDT Thursday. I don't think Matt forfeited the Blingie with that little sorta-reveal, especially not when the rats want him to use it more than they want to cast even more unstable personalities for next season. And some of the reaction will just turn into 'He's trying to make us paranoid'. But... ...start waving goodbye to Britney. Whatever she did to offend Grodner, it must have been major. It was probably open thought.

59. "RE: Bingo." |
Too many competition wins. Britney's seen as a challenge threat who might eventually cut into your own win total. She's also an expert on the game's history, the Meows are worried about her friendship with Lane and want to unsplit his loyalties by removing the distraction, plus that misplaced 'farewell' to Rachel pretty much screams "The rats are after her!" -- including in the DR propaganda sessions. By contrast, Kathy's competition policy currently breaks down to 'I quit: when do we nap?' She's the spare part who can be dumped at any time when you have a slow week. This should be about who Matt feels threatened by. Can't nominate Brendon or Ragan, no point to putting up Kathy -- so Britney's out. The only chance to change that is for Matt to make a gigantic power play. If he's aware of how bad his current status is with the Meows -- on the border waiting for a push -- then he might just decide to swing over to the other side. Throw Enzo up, claim he just found out about the alliance and is breaking it to save the rest of the house, hope a non-Meow wins HoH and protects him. The play of the game, requiring intuition, insight, and a major dose of courage. So basically, zero for three.

LAST EDITED ON 08-17-10 AT 03:55 AM (EST)...not. Looks like Matt's hints about a "power" being used this week has backfired a big move available to him - putting up Enzo or Hayden for turning on him. From Jokers: http://forums.jokersupdates.com/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=bbusaupdates&Number=14309243&page=3&view=expanded&sb=5&o=&rc=&fpart=1 Enzo joins Hay/Lane in the BY. Discuss Matt. Enzo asking if they should let Matt now they are voting him out. Hay says they shouldn't because Matt might have a power and use it to put he or Enzo on the block. Lane agreeing. Enzo "Yeah, he is talking about the power a lot" They say he may have gotten it last week. Now talking about the next HOH...should they throw it to Ragan to let him get Bren out. Saying they think they have a good chance of getting to teh end - - - - - Then, later on - http://forums.jokersupdates.com/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=bbusaupdates&Number=14314930&page=1&view=expanded&sb=5&o=&rc=&fpart=1 Enzo asks Brendon if he thinks Matt has a power because of the Pandoras Box, then Brendon says well I guess well find out on Thursday right. Then they both start laughing, and then Enzo says it's all bull cr*p, that there is no power and he doesn't think that there would be this season. Brendon agrees and says he thinks they would all have to be given some kind of notice that it could be coming. - - - - - This week still holds hope that the ending will be better than the beginning; it can't get much worse, can it? I mean, Rachel returning seemed to be the bottom of the barrel. Mayne AG can contain herself until next year. Yeah, right, who am I kidding?

LAST EDITED ON 08-20-10 AT 06:05 PM (EST)<<Not a "frickin genius" either>> At least you're enough of a genius to NOT appear on Big Brother! I'd like to see Matt try and get a theory named after him on a message board, by golly . THAT is genius!
I have always respected you, OFG, no offense meant. Woohoo! I talked to OFG! I feel like Steve Martin getting a phone book!

I have been called diabolical and evil, just not in a genius way. Not at all offended, I'm serious that Matt's bragging and smirking is enough to make me less than proud to be a member.lol about the theory ... and the phone book. In seriosity, MENSA accepts members who test in the 98th percentile, and that is not genius. When I was younger, before I got a certain mystery ailment that makes my brain fuzzy, I tested in the 99.9th -- which I'm sure I wouldn't manage now. I was still never close to genius. I'm positively dim in some fields of study. We all have our gifts and our weaknesses. It amuses me that Matt thinks his MENSA membership reflects his genius status, because he ought to know that 98th percentile is high IQ, not the highest. Still, it could be that he tests at the top of the range, and that someone other than his mom thinks he's a genius. In any case, his cockiness seems to neutralize any advantage that gives him. Yep, he's the Brain of the Brigade, but that bar is basically lying on the ground. http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/User_file

66. " Ragan & Rachel" |
I agree with Ragan that Rachel is completely blind as to how people see her; coming in saying "I'm back, B*****es" and thinking there was nothing wrong with that?I loved how Ragan stood up to her; he's quick with come backs - and even better at mocking Rachel when she stumbled & couldn't think quick enough! When he was telling her that no one liked her, I wondered why he didn't tell her to think about her return to the house and ask he "who" gave her a welcoming hello & hug? uh, no body! Other than Ragan, did anyone else even talk to Rachel at all? Were they all just a bunch a wimps who wanted to hide like little mice?

Me three! I wanted more. I thought Ragan showed a good balance of restraint and attack. Honestly, I might have had to forfeit and wrap my hands around her neck.I think you are right about getting Rachel's vote, but you never know with her. She's fricking nuts and might give him the vote anyway. I watched BBAD on Showtime one of those nights - Saturday or Sunday. I can't remember. I think I recorded it on Saturday and, at one point, Rachel and Ragan were sitting outside with the others having a somewhat normal conversation. It surprised me. Samboobree, brought to life by Arkie

Lane shoulde be very safe tonight. Whoever Matt puts up in his stead, (Probably Britney/Kathy) will be voted out by the Brigade at bare minimum...
