PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

A bunch of white people go to Alabma to a NASCAR track. How Red state dirtball can you get? This is the antithesis of everything that made the race cool.

Once upon a time I was a die-hard fan of TAR. How many of you remember when this show was on the brink of cancellation? I spread the word at work. People tuned in and loved the show. It got a second chance and has thrived. Now the producers are killing it. Take the most recent episode. In the past, when contestants would arrive at a tourist spot that wasn't open, they would have to wait, often 10 or 12 hours to get a clue. I did some checking and discovered that the Intenational Motorsports Hall of Fame at Talladega, Ala., is only open from 8 a.m.. until 5:30 p.m. This version of the race was filmed in the middle of the summer, when it stays light until 9 p.m. or later in Alabama. It was obvious that teams were arriving at his location well after 5:30 p.m. Why wasn't it closed? Did the people have to pay the $10 admission? In past races, teams have had to pay to ride cable cars up to mountains and to enter other attractions. The families got $51 for the last leg. It should have cost them $40 just to get into the racing museum to get a clue. The only reason I'm watching know is because I want to see how bad this train wreck turns out. The producers better WOW us with TAR 8.
