PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Shouldn't F&M be penalized since she did not snorkle - they were each provided with snorkles? I thought you had to do everything together unless the clue specified only one person!!!

I put this same question in the East Coast Spoilers thread. Not only did Margarita stay in the boat, but so did Bill. Only the lawyers both dove in initially. Drew went in and then asked for Kevin's help. I was expecting a time penalty.

I wondered about this as well. It probably comes down to the wording. Unless it specifies that both team members must perform the task they are probably free to do whatever they want. Also, most detours/tasks end up taking you to another location (not back in the boat). This requires both members to complete the task. In the diving case, one member could choose to not participate with no consequence on the outcome. That could have been helpful in the rock-climbing too. F&M and the Guidos each had a team member that had trouble with that detour. Leaving one member guard the bags while the other did the climbing could have saved them time.
