Well, we are underway. We have completed our first leg of the race and once again it looks like it will be another good race! We definitely have some characters and some teams that I would like to see leave sooner than later. We currently have 33 players trying to be the ARAE6 champ!
Our first team to leave was the all male friend team. The male friend team never leaves this early and it surprised many of our players. A lot of us left Avi/Joe on our safe lists this week. So many players left them on their lists that it is easier to list who didn't leave them on their list rather than who did. This will be a big -11 hit for a lot of us. The few that didn't have Avi/Joe on their safe lists were starshine, ohmyheck, ARnutz, Corvis, hookem, Survivor Maniac, Jims02, & yensid . Looks like these are the people to catch right now. Everyone is still in it though. Don't give up.
No one took the FF this week. I assume that there is no FF every week. I am going to get rid of the FF question for our game for this season. It looks like it is going to be like last year where there are only a few FF in the race and not one every week. So from now on, there will be no bonus points for guessing the FF. There may be a bonus question later in the season if it looks like someone may use the FF. The FF question this week helped keep a lot of people in the positive and a helped to give a lot of people a strong lead coming into week 2.
Thanks to everyone for replying and telling me who said the quote. It was Gus of Gus/Hera who said the quote. Only one person got it correct and that was popeave. Good guessing. I do commend gatortod on his pick for the title because he went out on a limb and guessed that it might be Phil who says the quote. Nice try! 
Like the airports on the show, there is a lot of bunching in the standings. Our top leaders this week are starshine & yensid(13). In second by themselves is ARnutz(12). Back in the top 3 again is our third place finisher from last season, Jims02(11).
We have two new leaders at the bottom. Congrats to 712 and railfan(-5) for having the worst score for the week and thus the worst score in the standings. Is there going to be a competition for red ink winner??
The coming week's quote is: "I'm Not His Wife -- He Doesn't Need to Scream at Me." Looks like it might be an easy one.
