As dabo noted above: Clearly, as dabo pointed out, you can see blurry purple in the fore ground, and clearly that is the FAV's camp...not all the "stuff" in the background where the favs keep their "stuff", and note the tarp over head. Dawn goes to purple favs camp still as well, note the purple paint... I am also tending to believe that perhaps Matt is also at the purple camp...note a few purple paint spots on his bathing suit, but more importantly, the bamboo on the ground and those basket type items really looks more like the favs camp to me. So possible new Bikal camp: Phillip Corrine Dawn Julia Matt Also, where is this picture taken? Is this at the Favs camp....a wet blanket that they won with their luxury items, drying out after the rain? Just curious... Anyone else feel like Corrine is UP FRONT and personal this week? Is she the boot this week, or is she about to be the boot next week? Promo sets up Philip vs Corrine...misdirection or boot story?   Top

With this clue: the game is thrown off-balance when one Tribe’s change results in a strength disparity between Gota and Bikal Leads me to believe that all the bulk and best challenge muscle will be on one tribe. We already speculate that Phillip and Matt are on one tribe. Also, we know that Dawn is on purple, but we also see that she has some orange splatter on her right side: ... most likely from the person on her right breaking an orange colored egg, and who was on her right? Brenda was. So, with the clues and the press images I have split the tribes like so: NuBikal: Phillip, Matt, Michael, Cochran, Dawn, Julia, Andrea, Corrine NuGoats: Malcolm, Erik, Reynold, Eddie, Sherri, Brenda My spec.   Top

So I am assuming that they will do that this time too, 3 orange and 3 purple for the Gota and 4 orange and 4 purple for Bikal. Corrine has orange paint in her hair in this pic Andrea was next to her so I speculate that she is the 7th on the NuGota. Other than that I think you're likely right.   Top

In Nicaragua four La Flor (Alina, Benry, Chase, NaOnka) joined Espada, three Espada (Jane, Jill, Marty) joined La Flor. This brought the new tribes parity as original Espada had voted out three but original La Flor had voted out only one.   Top

He is separated from his main ally, Andrea, but also from Corinne's main ally, Malcolm. And from Brenda and Erik, the last two who were made members of Stealth. If he allows Corinne to be booted then Brenda and Erik and Malcolm might opt out of Stealth to create a cross-tribal alliance with Eddie and Reynold and Sherri. On the other hand, should Corinne decide to move against Phillip, she has three fans she can try to recruit. But he has poor people skills. He may think he is safe with Corinne, that he and she have come to some accord. If he goes to Julia, Matt and Michael to throw her under the bus, they can turn around and go to Corinne. And he becomes the bad guy.   Top

It won't be Julia for the simple fact that she has had less air time than Purple Kelly, They will introduce her to us at least one epi before her boot. So Matt or Michael? Phillip actually should be totally invested at this point in keeping Stealth intact. His game is pretty much out in the open. (He also, per Brandon, wants to use this season as a launch pad for something else he has in the works, which if true becomes an influence on his decision-making during this game.) So he should accept that if his name comes up, that's just how it is. As long as he can keep himself in the game. Corinne actually could afford to lose Phillip at this point, but not at the risk of shattering her main alliance, half of which are on the other tribe. Her chances if she switches sides are the same as Cochran's, no chance at all. Anyway, the real question should be what criterion would be used to determine a New Bikal boot at this point? Challenge strength? In terms of pure muscle they can't hope to be as strong as New Gota, so that's pointless. Intelligence? Work ethic? Personality? A sympathy boot for Matt because of his feet? Perhaps. Or perhaps Phillip's Spydar picks up on just how good the guy is at playing the Mole.   Top

However, that's a temporary condition....a little sunshine, some dry areas, and his feet are good to go.... I didn't see his feet as the start of his boot story, fwiw.... I do believe that the boot will be one of either Julia or Matt at nuBikal....they were pictured in the press images....fwiw.   Top

That leaves either Julia or Matt. What's with Matt's dead-person's feet? They were cold, water-logged, and numb. Nothing a little warmth won't help out. And, he'll be going to Bikal and they have blankets and a tarp...warmth and dryness. So, I don't think Matt's feet are going to be a real factor. However, I would like to point out a few things about Julia. She is coming in as the only new girl from Gota. She comes with 2 guys. Corrine has lost the 2 other younger girls and Malcolm. So, Corrine may gravitate toward Julia...why wouldn't she and Dawn welcome her. Phillip may not like this....he may choose to target Julia simply because she's someone that Corrine may want to get to know? Who knows. I just think Phillip may want to work with the guys over the girls, I just don't know? Julia could have the start and finish of her arc all in her boot episode for all we know....we have certainly seen it before? Food for thought...   Top

Her confessionals pattern suggests she should have at least one, maybe a few more, this coming week. Scrappy little racer hasn't been weak in challenges, though. If challenge diversity is a criterion, she has her own strengths. Matt mostly duplicates what others already have and bring to the mix. Matt and Michael are pretty much interchangeable in this. (What none of the Gota have shown, of course, is a good head for division of labor in challenges.)   Top

She has had only 2 confessional, 1 in epi 1 and 1 in epi 3. I can't recall any conversations around camp that she has said a single word. Jeff addressed her at TC 3 about Shamar and all she was shown saying was he yelled at her( also the focus of her confessional that epi. ). So other than a brief comment by other survivors here and there about her being a vote on their side she has had zero focus. Production always gives us some story to follow at least 1 episode before their boot(except 1st boot). She will likely get some serious focus this week, but she will definitely not be the boot.   Top

FWIW, I think it's Matt as his story arc has been set up for an end, especially with the dead feet bit - you don't think others also have the same problem with their feet? Phillip is smart enough (student of BR Academy) to know that, after a tribe swap, there's a merge, and you kick out the stronger people at a merge. So, with the numbers advantage, why not kick out the stronger people now, so that they can't harm you later on. Worst-case scenario: You lose every challenge. Not a big deal at this point. The fans are done. I think it'll be one of the guys this week instead of Purple Kelly Purple Julia. I'll guess Matt, since he had a bigger spike in airtime last week.   Top

"RE: S26 Ep6 Operation Thunder Dome (Preview) " Matt (talking to Phillip): I wanna be here, dude, I wanna make it to the merge. This quote is a Kiss of Death. There is no way Matt makes the merge. This is the third straight episode where Matt's weakness gets focus. On Survivor, it's common to have a boot during the episode when something negative is brought up for the third time or someone's storyline builds over three episodes. Matt's also being shown with a very short-term strategy bordering on desperation. He was desperate to win challenges, so he was willing to weaken his majority alliance and go to the minority alliance based on their challenge strength. Then we're shown his physical weakness with the view of his feet. And his comment to Phillip is about making the merge, not making any sort of long-term commitment that would suggest he's thinking endgame. Weakness + desperation + short-term focus = dead meat pre-merge.   Top

There's nothing conclusive there, but the circumstantial evidence is piling up: Julia and Corinne have been tweeting as they usually do, but Matt's activity has ramped up in the past few days. Last Thursday and Friday, he thanked everyone (twice) for their love and support in following him, then tonight he tweeted, "If you're local to the Cincinnati area, I'd love to see you this Wednesday night for Episode #6 at Buffalo Wild ... Thanks again for all of your support!" Again, nothing conclusive but it seems like it's coming across in his postings that Matt is telegraphing that it's his final episode. First time since early in the season he's posted specifics as to where he's having a viewing party (although I do know he's had one most weeks).   Top

I would bet that Andrea and Brenda are fair as well...they all seem like pretty sharp people, I am sure that they will fare well with puzzles.
