These two clips show four bodies in the water. To me it looks like Tarzan, Kim, Chelsea, and Alicia. I'm certain about Tarzan. I say the other 3 because we then have shots of Troy at camp with Sabrina, Kat, and Christina. So perhaps Tarzan, Kim, Chelsea, and Alicia win reward and the other four are left back at camp, which is when Troy talks about his big master plan that Sabrina is asking about.Then Kim and Kat have a confrontation after Kim returns from the reward challenge.

I think you have nailed it....while the four are off away, Sabrina, Kat, Troy, and Christina are back in the shelter.I think VG may be onto something as well with the post IC pics. We will have to watch the future clips and see if there are any of the IC...it's overcast in those shots. Also, so MANY shots of Kat this episode. Will she make a move to the dark side, and if she does will it spell her demise? What is up with Kat?

It didn't make sense Tarzan would be picked.
So if 3 go, Kim outs her F3 of herself, Chelsea, Alicia.
Sabrina and Kat wig out. Christina had no definite expectations but maybe hoped she was the goat. While the conventional strategy says you flip the game at F7, how do they hope to do that this season? Kim has had Tarzan under her thumb. If it's down to 3-3 girls against girls, more likely he would go with Kim. Sabrina and Kat just realized they are next to go after Troyzan and there's not one thing they can do about it once he is gone other than one might win immunity and the other goes. But with Troy, it's just a tie. He must be bluffing that he has an idol. Kim's problem is she will want to split the vote like last time, and if Sab, Kat, and Christina don't play like good little soldiers, she can't do that. So what will she do? Will she decide not to vote Troy because of the HII that isn't? I do think Sab is being sarcastic to Troyzan, but she may indeed begin to feel insecure -- finally.

I had to replay the video clip to be sure Troy is talking to Sabrina in the shot above.Yes, Troy, Sabrina, Tarzan, Kat, and Christina are here -- clearly the losers described in the press release. Kim, Chelsea, Alicia -- having fabulous reward. The four in the water are just near their beach, probably are strategizing. Kat and Kim having it out after Kim returns, so why is Kim having the worst day ever? Neither of the men won the challenge, so she isn't facing a terrible boot decision. Maybe she is claiming stress for being forced to pick between her girls.
Maybe there has been backlash at her for information revealed.

But there are five people having the pow wow in the shelter, and the teaser tells us the pow wow happens when the winners are away on a picnic. Therefore there must be 3 who go ...And they never do half the tribe gets to go when it is a pick who shares. If they wanted 4 to go they would just make two teams. The producers want to have more disgruntled people than happy people at this juncture in the game. They want to stress the alliances by having players who feel deserving get left in the cold.

Actually when I look at the blow up that VG gave us, it looks like the three girls are there, then the fourth person off to the left, she has something bright pink on....could that be a guide of some sort? Just proposing that this could be them off swimming at their beach, or, it could be a vacation spot with picnic at a new sight and they go off with a guide to explore the waters.... I agree with OFG, that 5 people, aka losers, are back at camp in the powwow...fwiw.

per mustang sally at MeSS, TV Guide print edition puts the slip-n-slide for IC this week.There were two different versions of this challenge run previously, but it has always run in teams. If mustang sally's info is correct, this would be the first time this challenge is for individual immunity. The first version was run twice, both times for RC: Fiji (E3) and HvV (4)
In this version, one player from each tribe ran/slid down the slide, over which were hanging some numbered balls. Probst would call out a number, players would grab that ball, after which they would make their way to the end of the slide where they tried to shoot the ball into a hoop. First player to put ball in hoop scored point for the team. The only difference was that in Fiji, there was one common slide for both teams, whereas in HvV, each tribe had their own slide. The second version was run once, for IC: Gabon (E3)
In this version, players ran a relay race down a slide into a lake, where they retrieved floating puzzle pieces. Once they had all puzzle pieces, the first tribe to solve and raise the flag won. The 7-Up challenge this season had many common points with this challenge, though there was no flag, just puzzle solving.

In the vidcaps, what could have made Kat so furious? I can't help notice that Troy is hanging out next to Christina in the shelter. And very interesting that Sabrina is inquiring about what Troy's master plan is...fwiw.

Kim looks very happy. We saw them all cheering her on last night in the IC. Even Tarzan. The obvious goal here is for her to win it so he doesn't. I see her happiness as a balance to his taunting, so I surely see her smiling when she does well, but I don't know that this means she wins.I posted above about two clips that look like four people out in the ocean. One of them looks like Tarzan, and the other 3 look like girls. Going with your next thought about Troy, Christina, and Sabrina, I believe Kat is also in those pictures, so I think those 4 are at camp while Tarzan, Kim, Chelsea, and Alicia are on a reward. Troy gets in Kat's head. She's not happy with Kim. Perhaps he even tells them about the Jay/Troy/Kim/Chelsea sub-alliance. I think Kim would be happy with a reward, but unhappy about leaving Troy behind to possibly cause trouble.

As you mention, it would work well in teams and we have an even 4 and 4 this week.Either way, glad we'll finally be done with these vidcaps....thanks for reminding us of the history. P.S. So RC appears to be Kim/Chelsea/Alicia/Tarzan vs. Sabrina/Kat/Christina/Troy.

To chime in with the obvious, press release says slip and slide is reward and immunity, and there is a pow wow back at camp. Clearly Troy didn't win, so how do we get to a place where it's not a slam dunk vote out Troy?Something must really have gotten to Kat and Sab for them to even be talking to Troy and asking for his
Plan. Do they think Kim has picked Greg and Alicia as her goats? Maybe, but isn't Troy still enemy number one? Are they suddenly afraid to lose his vote, and go to seven and Kat, Sab, Christina are picked off?

I personally think Sabrina understands that Troy is a threat in challenges.If Chelsea thinks that Troy has the idol, and say Tarzan won immunity, they would need to split the votes. Maybe Kat doesn't like the possibility. Or, maybe Kat is mad at whomever got to decide who to take on the reward. One person wins and takes 3 people - it's the first time this season that a choice like that would be made.

Perhaps I missed something, but I only seen the press release that called it an Immunity challenge.I would like to suggest that who ever won the reward challenge gets to choose who goes on reward with them. I think Kat and Sabrina are upset that they were not chosen. They may now know that they are not the chosen ones. This could also be CBS trying to give us Troy fans some hope that Troy lives to play another day. After last nights episode I lost my hope. I do not think Sabrina and Kat will flip. They may lead Troy into thinking they do but in the end it will not happen just like last night. I think that unless Troy wins immunity or finds the Idol he is going home next.

Not a glimpse of Tarzan either, but it is the lack of very camera-friendly Chelsea that has me thinking that they are not setting her up to be the season winner. That may be, but the story of this promo is about the fight, and the powwow. She may not be in the fight, and she's not in the powwow because she's not in camp. Neither is Alicia, nor Kim -- but Kim comes into the caps when she returns.I think the simple explanation is that Kim is taking the heat because Kim is the one who chose people to share the reward. Greg is glimpsed; he is in the shelter sitting across from Troyzan.
I'm sure we'll get other pics later in the week.

For whatever reason when I saw the preview last night I immediately assumed that Sab was just humoring Troy (or playing spy) when she asked his plan. I just don't think, based on what we've seen of her this season, that Sab would turn on Kim and Chelsea. Does anybody know what the trend has been this season in regards to previews being more misdirection or honest? My gut reaction is that they're gonna do everything they can with previews and editing to build some suspense for the remaining episodes. I'm enjoying watching the women dominate but I know others are finding it boring - so tptb probably want to do what they can to keep the "it's boring" people interested.
Thoughts? Y'all know I love feedback from the experts

In the scene where Kim is talking to Kat, saying "I'm having a hard day too"...I found Kim to be very dry, very non-emotional. Maybe I'm just projecting my negative feelings about her, onto that scene... but I thought she was just faking her comments. Saying what Kat wanted to hear.I was thinking maybe Kim was telling Kat they had to vote out someone Kat liked (for example, Sabrina ~ since there is that "spoiler" about Sab doing an interview and they've been doing interviews around the time they are voted out). And Kat was having a hard time dealing with that, so Kim responds, "yeah, I'm having a hard day too". This is assuming let's say Tarzan wins immunity and they think Troy has the HII. However, they still have Christina (or Alicia?) they could get rid of, so this only works if Kim has decided it is time to make a big move....

So, it's an immunity challenge, but the winner most likely gets to choose who else to bring along with them on the reward portion. It is appearing to be a combined RC/IC this week. The winner gets to pick who to bring with them, thus, all of the sour losers at camp...

When I read that I interpreted it as the first sentence referring to the immunity challenge and the second sentence related to the reward challenge. I can see how it could be interpreted both ways. I am not convinced there is a combined challenge. It could also be a mistake on CBS when they meant to say reward challenge. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Someone mentioned she's close to Tarzan (and he didn't get food at the auction) and she probably wants to stick to Chelsea & Kim, the perceived alpha females. I agree that this is total misdirection. I don't see anyone flipping to Troy, not even Tarzan, who seems to have voted the way the women's alliance wants him to since the merge.

I agree It may not be much better but she would at least get credit for making a big move. That has to be better than riding coattails to the end. Either way she most likely will not win unless she makes even more big moves later in the game that take out both Sabrina and Troy.

As for who says the "we have to think of another option" line, it was hard to tell who was saying it from the audio alone, but Christina's lips do actually move during that exchange. It is hard to tell on individual frames, because of the shadows falling on her face.

From looking at these vidcaps I can tell there seems to be two teams. A black team and a red team. I am not sure how this could be a immunity challenge with teams unless the winning team goes on to compete for Individual Immunity. Also we can tell some of the members of the teams and speculate the others. First we know for sure Greg, Kim and Alicia are on team red. We know for sure Chelsea and Troy are on team black for sure. I speculate based on Kat looking at someone to her left as she slides that she is on the her right which is black. I also have speculated the rest of the team based on how they are lined up waiting their turn when Chelsea is throwing her ring. That puts Christina on team black and Sabrina on team red. If this is indeed the reward challenge, it seems to counter the speculation that the conversation we seen in earlier promo between Troy, Kat, Sabrina and Christina and Greg was post reward challenge, as Troy and Kat are on opposite teams from Sabrina and Greg. It is a little confusing to try to figure out exactly when that conversation occurs. It may just happen around camp when Kim Chelsea and Alicia are not at camp. It is also possible that there is another challenge that we do not know about is a reward challenge. It is also confusing how the slip and slide challenge can be for immunity if it has teams. In the end I remain confused but at least I think I have figured out who is on each team.

I agree Jasonkola, it is rather confusing!One thought I had on the slip 'n slide challenge (and I think others have had the same or similar thought) is that it's run in heats of two. All eight go and there's four winners; those four winners go again and we get two winners; the final two go one last time to determine final winner. That's one way it could work if it's not actually teams.

It kind of looks like the prevailing thought is that, based on vid caps, it's Kim, Chelsea and Alicia that are away on the picnic. Assuming that is in fact correct I really don't think it's Kim that wins and gets to choose two others to go. I'm convinced she is too smart to choose Chelsea for a reward, especially after the last TC. I can see her picking the following: Alicia/Christina to reassure them; Kat/Alicia for the same reason; Troy to keep him away from the ones he's trying to flip; Troy/Tarzan for the same reason. I can even see her being smart enough to choose Troy/Tarzan and then tell Jeff she wants to give up her spot to Chelsea. The reasoning would be that the guys would be gone and she'd have her most trusted ally there to try and get info. But I haven't come up with any scenario in which she'd comfortable choosing Chelsea and basically confirming what Troy said.

You are right OllieKat there could be no teams and heats. I also do not think this is a Kim win. I would think it would be a Alicia or Chelsea win. Chelsea is known for not thinking before she acts. She may have given away Their F3 plan. This would explain why Kim would say it was her worse day yet out there.

Just throwing out the scenario that Alicia catches wind of the Sabrina/Kat/Kim/Chelsea alliance and decides to use Troyzan to take down Kat and help weaken that alliance. I seem to remember Kat having a dream that she was shot by Alicia a few episodes ago (just as Jay had a dream of being shot by someone right before he was voted out) . Just an idea..but this looks to be Kim's game to lose, and Troyzan appears to be her one major obstacle to eliminate

Welcome Caliguy. It is always good to hear fresh new ideas. As far as Alicia is concerned, I think she had her opportunity to flip last week. She did not, so I doubt she will this week. She already is aware those girls are tight. I would be more likely to think Kat would flip sense she is Unhappy being seen as riding coattails. Of coarse she would need other girls to flip with her and that could lead to Alicia finding out she has flipped and reporting to Kim resulting in Kat being voted out. I think that is a long shot. I think Kat is safe in this game at least for now. I think the biggest target will be Troy.

There's one thing that makes me think that Kat wouldn't flip. Remember in Jay's boot ep when Kat when to talk to Sab right after Chelsea was being wishy-washy? Kat brought Sab up to speed and then made a comment about them being the final three. At the time I had a question about who was the third in that final three but I think it was pretty clear that Kat thinks she has a final three deal with at least Sabrina.
I just have a feeling Kat is feeling comfy and confident in her supposed deal (and who knows, that may end up being the "true" final 3) and will let what Troy/anyone else says go in one ear and out the other. I guess if it was Sab who was leading the takeover Kat would be onboard but that would be it. Thoughts?

I agree she would not want to flip by herself. Sabrina would be the most likely one to flip with her. But they would need a third girl to flip to have the numbers and that seems unlikely. They may try to get Alicia or Christina to flip but if they were not willing last week I do not know why they would this week.I think I am going to start a new thread called Game Strategy as these threads seem to always get off topic when we start discussing game strategy. I know it is easy to stray off topic as info in these threads seems to lead to game play and strategy discussion. But I think it would clean up these threads if we had a separate Thread for that. Does any one else think this is a good idea?

Yes, I think that would fill a need.I think that the strategy for this episode is important to discuss in the episode topics, because whether someone will flip is completely relevant to figuring out the boot. However, I hate it when episode topics go into spec about who will be F3 and winner. The vidcaps topic really should be about what we see in the images and hear in the voiceover. The episode title thread should be for discussing the game play.
I have been guilty of not following that.

We see Kat competing against Sabrina. I assume that the winner (Kat) will be Chelsea's next competitor. I would assume Kim wins this round and the next round to become Chelsea's final competitor. I speculate that Chelsea wins as she is being shown more and Kim says it was one of her worse days.

I noticed another thing just now, that would if it is what I think, would back up your match ups. Why is Chelsea over the line, and heading back to it?
I think it's because she has 2 rings, one on the post and she missed one and is carrying it back to try again. Kat also has 2 rings, one in the air mid flight and one on the ground at the throwing line. No other caps show multiple rings and clearly only one in this cap
So I say maybe it goes like this
1st round is first to get a ringer moves on to next round. 2nd round, 2 rings with the first to get both on a peg moving on to final with 3 rings? Sound plausible?

Oops, in the new video it is clear that there are three supports for one bench and three supports for another bench. Maybe there is a towel at the far left end of the left bench to wipe off the oil and that is what Troy is doing.Definitely appears to be 1 ring for Round 1, 2 rings for Round 2, and 3 rings for Round 3.

It is odd ...
Even the lame DIY challenge merited a press photo.However, Jeff should say they are playing for reward and immunity if it's a combo, and he doesn't. What's odd is that Chelsea, Kim, Alicia are absent during the reward, and Kim and Chelsea are in the IC finals. Maybe not so odd, as they are competitive. If they dominate two challenges in a row, that could get people more worried about them running away with the game.

Well you can clearly see the Immunity Necklace in these shots and the Press Release photo so we know for sure this is for Immunity but could it also be for a Reward?As the preview opens it has a wide shot of the Immunity challenge. Here is a close up screen shot of the ring toss portion of the field. 
You can see the sit out bench on a diagonal to the field. What is that object on the far right?
Could that be the picnic food under a shade cover? I don't see that object in any of the screen captures above (though it could just be hidden from view due to the camera angle). I suppose it could have been something for production gear and removed before the challenge.
