The 10+ Commandments of Banana Etiquette... First Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt read and resign thyself to the rules of the board. Thank your BluePeeps for the guidelines. The Second Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt remember the past before embarking on the future. A proper memorial table is clearly organized and with proper respect paid. The Summary -zipperhead The Players, The Game, The Editing -VerucaSalt The Ep 5 Insider -SquidProQuo RTVW Interview (w/ Tom) -Snidget Jiffy's Blog -SquidProQuo Outside Spoiler Thread -Brownroach Most notable excerpts from these spoiling prophets being; Whence a double tribal council, tis pointless to have an immunity winning tribe. The almighty Jiffy hears (but does not listen to) the fans. The heroes have a pre-existing banana problem. The Third Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt play close attention to the tease. This weeks tease has; In a high stakes challenge, both tribes battle for the chance to win immunity and a coveted reward that promises to improve not only their morale but their entire tribe's strategy. & When the castaways discover that two people will be sent packing in a rare double elimination, everyone scrambles to save their own skin, and one castaway surprises everyone and risks it all at Tribal Council. Pontificators would have the "high stakes challenge" being an oddly combined Tribal Reward Challenge with an Individual Immunity Challenge to follow. Jiffy noted that he personally hated the "win or lose both tribes go to tribal council" tack of previous large cast seasons. Therefore, for this season they will merely take out the tribal immunity aspect. The morale/tribe-strategy changing improvements are to be reaped when the reward winning tribe sits in on the reward losing tribe's TC. They will have to vote first, but they will get to enjoy some food-stuffs while the MORE miserable reward losers do their own voting. Scrambling, saving thine own skin, surprises and risks will (and are) act as parts of this episodes storyline. The Fourth Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt moniter all visual/audial evidence. *Thank you TDT, Phoenix, Blows & Fever. Heroes Camp: Rupert: "Who do we keep? James, who is fighting to stay in the game, or Colby, who is ready to walk out?" Villains Camp: Rob: "It's Russell." Russell : "I don't care how strong he is. I don't care who he is. If you're threatening Russell Hantz, when you do that, you go." Rob: "Watch your back, man." Russell: "Same thing for you, man." Rob: "If you don't have that idol, you need to go get it." Russell: "I don't have it." Rob: "Well.... it's been real." Tyson: "I feel a little uneasy." Coach: "I'm caught in the crossfire." Challenge Site: Probst: "Both tribes are voting somebody out." Jerri: "Wow." Individual Immunity Lanes: Lane Color Hero Villain Black JT Coach? Blue Amanda Rob Lt. Green Candice Danielle Yellow Colby Tyson Maroon Rupert RussHell Purple James Parvati? Orange/Red N/A Jerri White N/A Parvati Dk. Green N/A Courtney? The Fifth Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt honor thy banana and the bananas of thy neighbors. Cross-referencing things it seems that the heroes are already having difficulties regarding bananas. Someone is obviously taking more than their share and it will most likely come into play for the decisions of some of the survivors when they go to tribal council. Meanwhile they also share in doubt that their last TC decision was indeed the right decision. James is made to participate in a race of judgement. (Not a judgement of race.) Is he worthy of remaining on the tribe? Is he fast enough? Is he a banana stealer? On the Villain side they have their own "banana" problems. Who's going to be Top Banana? Will it be the evil-hobbit named RussHell (along with his favorite idol) or will it be his worst enemy, The Robfaddah. The fallout of which will seemingly affect more than just the arch-rivals. The Sixth Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt refrain from utilizing the banana for evil. In an interest of speculatively exposing perhaps more than we need to know... * The only night shots are of Rob. Thusly, the Villains will be the tribe who get the confessionals started. * The title is of Heroic origin. Rupert, Colby and James all have ties to previous insider banana trade titling. * The key voter for the heroes will be Rupert, who seems most troubled by the decision and is most in need of a good edit. * Meanwhile, the villains will have trouble coming to concensus regarding their bootee. * With Rob, Sandra, Tyson and Courtney on one team. RussHell, Parvati and Danielle on another and Jerri & Coach trying not to look suspicious. While the key voter should be Coach, I'm thinking that RussHell, Parvati and Danielle take matters into their own hands and with an idol in their pocket it's probable to work flawlessly. So it could be RussHell. The Seventh Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt take a moment to pontificate some rather infamous banana quotes. "Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana. " -Groucho Marx "You don't want your credibility banana to turn brown, but you do want to speak out about what you believe in." -Bradley Whitford "You want the harness to be like hands holding her down. You don't want her to squeeze through like a banana." -John Cummings "To say that the banana happened by accident is even more unintelligent than to say that no one designed the Coca Cola can." -Kirk Cameron "I feel pretty good. My body actually looks like an old banana, but it`s fine." -Mike Piazza The Eighth Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt get back on topic by presenting some Open Sourcing and Speculations With TDT's Surviv-o-meter acting as the consistently updated full bootsheet a couple of things can be answered merely by placement. 1. Villains win Reward. A post TC feast. 2. Villain boot is a result of successful hidden idol play. 3. RussHell and Rob WILL have a showdown this week. 4. With both Tyson and Coach admitting unease for the upcoming vote, it's most likely one is paranoid and one is a target. & 4. Hero boot is a choice between Colby "This season sucks" Donaldson or James "I'm lame but I'm a vote" Clement. OR 5. Individual Immunity goes to... The Ninth Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt take notice of last minute revelations. For instance, the possible Dual Immunity necklace? I see two, do you? (Production can be sneaky. They hid one under the other in Gabon. The neck part was thinner and may just not show on the image above. Or I could be wrong. It's happened many times before. I also see two highlighted players on each tribe... & & Due to the prevalence of Rob and RussHell's imminent showdown, the known use of the hidden idol and the lack of a Rob boot, it's a sure sign Rob wins Individual Immunity for the Villains. OR there just aren't enough votes to get him out yet. Between JT and Candice, I'd give it to JT. But considering Candice should still be a target I'm favoring her for the win. Add to that this recently revealed shot of Candice during the challenge. It's got the same exact time stamp this one does of JT. You'll notice Candice is farther along. The Tenth Commandment of Banana Etiquette states; Thou shalt summarize in short form. BREAKING SPOILERS (AT LEAST FOR ME) FROM TDT: Since Heroes vs. Villains has started airing, more info on Tyson's boot has come to light. New Sucks poster blackwhale claimed "Russell is the target at the next tribal council for the villains. Tyson informs Russell he's going home. Russell shows Tyson the idol. Some people panic and switch their vote to Parvati. She gets 3 votes, Russell gets 2, and Tyson gets 4, with Parvati playing the idol that Russell gave to her." SurvivorsUnite essentially confirms this story around the same time, stating more succinctly: "Russell finds The second bootee of the episode, again according to SurvivorsUnite's order, should be James. About this particular boot, somerandomdouche originally claimed James was "removed again and it's something to do with either his leg or his knee." missyae corrected this claim thusly: "What happens with James is an injured knee. He manages to even compete a couple of challenges with it before his tribe votes him out in a sympathy vote. His knee is still injured to this day and might bother him the rest of his life." And a good time was had by all.
