Personally, the only interest I have left for this (and next) season is seeing if RussHell heads into the ring for a non-fixed round of Contract Violation Smackdown. If all the stories are accurate, then we haven't had someone break the privacy clauses on this scale since Mitchell -- and in his case, it may have been legal until five minutes after he finished talking. I have no hope it'll happen. I think RussHell has blackmail material on EPMB. But I'd like to hear the excuses when it doesn't.

Hi missy, it's been nice having you here; I especially remember when you were noticing how nice and civilized people were when you first came. I'm curious what has changed that perception.So I'm not sure where brownroach shows any anger in his post, nor does he suggest that he's jealous of anyone. He's simply stating what seems pretty obvious to everyone, and being lighthearted about it. If he's wrong, disabuse him of the notion, but it doesn't seem like very polite or appropriate forum etiquette to analyze his motives, act as judge, jury and executioner on them, and then storm off. Ad hominem attacks aren't really the pace of this place. I'm not too keen on spoilers to the level of detail that you've provided us with this year, to be honest - I prefer speculating on small clues. So it's not a huge deal to me if you don't post your spoilers here. But it does bother me that you might abandon this spoiling community because you've drawn what seems to be a very hasty conclusion about another poster's motives. I hope you've cooled down a bit and will once again participate in the boards.

Re the NO VISITS spoiler, this is a huge departure for the show. Budget cuts? Anyway, we now know that unless we get a double elimination (double TC) episode soon, we'll see a F6 Finale. Say there is no RC at F6 when they would have the family visit, no more RC's at all, that would make it easier to do. It would mean 4 TC's in the Finale instead of 3.Re the title of this topic, I got the joke. I did not think it was in any way a discourtesy to you, missyae. True, if no family visit, then it's easier to squeeze it all in to the final episode. Maybe they'll ditch the fallen camrades thing too -- in my opinion that's a waste of air time.The other thing I was thinking is that if Shambo goes at F6 (assuming TDT's tip that Jaison and Brett are 5th and 4th respectively is correct), it might make sense that they'd want to save that boot for the finale, since they've played her up as a big character this season and it could have a huge impact on the end game.

yes, I was thinking that too, and almost posted it. then I started thinking about how much of it they needed to plan while shooting. They would, I think, need to plan fewer challenges to get in a F6, so they might not be able to factor in characters so much.But for what decisions they can make now, after filming, I definitely think they would want Shambo in the Finale if they could do it, as they seem to think she's got a whole demographic lusting after Shambo bytes. I don't see it myself, but the point is TPTB believe it ...

I think Squid was talking about editing out the memorial walk where they pay tribute to each bootee (all 17 of them), no?They haven't done Fallen Comrades as a final challenge for a long time. I can't remember how long, just recall they did it through Season 4. I think the fallout from the Africa challenge put them off it. For those who don't remember, Lex had a question correct that he didn't get credit for. Result, KimJ won, when there should have been a tiebreaker, which Lex could have won - and maybe kept Tom in the F3, who wouldn't have won the F2 immunity like Kim did. They had to compensate Tom and Lex for the screw-up, IIRC, but that didn't compensate Lex for not getting to go before the jury and possibly winning. I think Natalie would perform well in a balance challenge. They saw how she hung off that swinging platform last time ... way to keep a woman in the F3!

That's why he settled for second-place money.Honestly, I still think S3 was the ultimate Survivor experience. Two members of the trie had to be awake at all times at night. The cast always had to travel with snipers trained in killing wildlife. The only water available for bathing was used by an elephant as a toilet. S1 and S2 were hard (poisonous snakes, crocodiles, rats, floods), but S3 was true survival. And it's never really happened again. Underwear models and porn stars started winning once the real survival threats were eliminated from the show.

I agree, AyaK ...then in sailed Cleopatra in the opening ep of Marquesas. A far cry from the trek to camp in S3, which left Diane so exhausted and dehydrated that she passed out more or less in the first challenge. I'm sure Lex said what sounded reasonably humble, and he may have been right, but personally I thought Lex was the player of Season 3. He did lose it briefly in Ep 8 when he went ballistic over someone writing his name down, but other than that he was great, and look at the way he blew through the challenges leaving the young soccer star in the dust.

As IceCat said earlier on this thread, please stop all discussion about missyae or her source. I didn't have a problem with Brownroach's original post because it was so obviously a joke. But, having had primary responsibility once in my life for handing a poster on another site who had a source (a responsibility I was happy to turn over to Snewser, BTW), I understand how sensitive a subject this is. Heck, I had to put up with someone calling himself "Jesus" on a web radio show, which I tolerated because it would have been too problematic to do anything else. So I'm sympathetic to missyae's desire to have no serious discussion in public about her source, and I would prefer for everyone to respect her wishes.

Well, regardless who's spilling the beans and who isn't, it all boils down to the fact that most if not all accurate sourced spoilers have to originate with somebody on the inside revealing information they are theoretically not supposed to. So you have two things possibly going on here: A) If it turns out we've been fed a load of BS, the poster of that BS will join the Survivor Spoilers' Hall of Shame. B)If all this stuff is true and in fact turns out to be originating with a certain insider of questionable popularity and ethics, a lot of Survivor fans on this site would like to see both this insider and any person helping him get his information out get their comeuppance. I don't know if either A or B is the case, but if one of them is, then someone has been dancing with the Devil and, as you might expect, has gotten burned.

If I remember correctly missyae's spoiler was that Shambo didn't make the finals, and it was also stated or there was a strong implication that a Galu finished 4th. But there was no definite connection made between those two things. At the time Shambo seemed a plausible guess for F4 since she's a major character and also there was the info from the other poster that made it seem she went very far.

IIRC, the way it went was Survivors Unite promised to reveal the F4. He said 3 Foa Foa made the finals and a Galu was fourth. Meanwhile missyae was spoiling earlier parts of the game, Ben, Yasmin, up to Erik only.People just assumed Shambo would be the 4th at that point.
Then SU never came back and said the last of the F4. missyae then stepped in and said Russ, Natalie, Mick F3 and also never named the F4. TDT then changed his rankings and put Shambo at #4. Then TDT got tips on Brett and Jaison. Originally missyae said Jaison could go pre-merge, then that he made the merge. At that point TDT bumped Shambo to 6th as she could not do better than that. Then this week he put her at risk.

Yes. The press release says there's a twist that lets them know two will be going. Where in the process they learn of the twist we don't know. (Calling Chenbot ...)To my mind, two one day cyles is surprising, but I wouldn't call it a TWIST. The players know the boot cycles can vary. A twist would be having an immediate second IC and not allowing any scrambling time, or repeating what they did with Message in a Bottle, and going straight into a second vote. That twist was in the tribal phase of the game. I would think they would allow for a second chance to win immunity in the individual portion of the game. Also missy's source said no double boot. So it needs to be a twist, but not strictly speaking a double boot. To me that would indicate two TC's, maybe a Fast Forward like what they do on BB, with challenges played but no down time for strategizing. (or the source misled missyae)

I guess since they used the huge underdog edit for the Foa Foa members they will flip it and use it for Brett towards the end too. John made some interesting comments in some of his interviews about the final Tribal Council. Maybe the players didnt lie about who they voted for and it is a little closer than everyone is anticipating. One thing is for sure - it will be a good final Tribal to watch. missyae never did reveal how the Final 3 thought the voting went, but this suggests they were expecting something of a blow-out. Also, from this and John's interview comments about people wanting to vote for the lesser of two evils, I am getting a suspicion that one person is assumed to be getting zero votes -- Mick?

I never thought it was going to be a blow out, but after reading the comments in the Bitter Jury thread, I think it could be closer than I originally thought.One idea I have on the "lesser of two evils" if its between Mick and Russell: it could be between who deserves needs the million dollars the most. You have an MD with the potential to make a lot of money but has a lot of loans to pay off versus someone who boasted making 1.7 million last year. Mick has already said he'd bring that up. Or it could just be between who back stabbed the least!

That seems like a finer distinction than jurors would normally make. Also, Russell talked about living in a trailer the year before, or whatever. He could be poor again if things don't go well, whereas Mick always has his degree to fall back on.

But now John's comments point to him voting Russell. I think the lesser of two evils refers to choosing between Mick or Natalie. I get from what John said that each juror will weigh who is the lesser of two evils, as no one gets to vote for someone they actually want to win.

Missyae contended all along, though, that Russell thought he had several votes (John/Shambo/Dave I believe). Thanks for bringing this over, BR....hard to read into exactly what Missyae is really saying with this latest comment. Is s/he discouraged or encouraged by what John had to say? My guess is that maybe s/he thinks Russell gets LESS votes vs. what was originally thought (since John makes it clear that most of the other people were bitter and didn't vote for the "best" player -- i.e. Russell). Sounds like her source had thought/hoped that some of the players were lying about their vote but perhaps is now realizing (given John's comments) that they were telling the truth.

So yeah, what John says sounds like a death knell for Russell even though it seems to assure him one vote.There is some other quote going around about the blonde surprised them by kicking their ass. Unfortunately I don't know where it originated, and normally I wouldn't even quote something that vague, but since we're collecting the stuff floating around, that's part of it.

Yes, I remember that OFG. The vague quote about a little blond kicking all their butts was supposedly what Russell told his tribemates on S20. I don't recall if the source was Missyae or SurvivorUnited. When I first heard it I figured it was Russell's cover story to deflect the fact that he made the finals/was the potential winner of S19.There was also another tidbit early on from Missyae about Final TC performance...something to the effect of, I do great at getting to the finals but I'm not a good speaker before the jury. We were asking if it was Amanda at the time but then realized it was Russell...based on that we figured he makes it to the F3 both seasons but doesn't win either time.

I am not 100% positive about this but I was told Natalie is still not working. Another player told her not to worry about it because Russell won her a million dollars. Now is that true? Now it does sound like Mick could get shut out. Perhaps because Nat makes a great speech and then Russell is the great gameplay speech. I hate F3 votes because sometimes two of the people will appeal to the same jurors and either dilute the vote or one person gets shut out because even though he/she might be second choice, the jurors in that camp have to vote together to make their votes count.In this case, Mick and Russell are competing for the votes of those more likely to vote for a man, like Erik, Dave, John or Shambo. Re Dave, Brett, John, Mick hanging out - like I said in the bitter jury topic (I think), they are LA people (even though Brett is from Oregon and I wonder if he pointed them towards Laura). I think they would hang out whether they voted for Mick or not.

OFG, maybe, as you say, they are big boys and should be able to take the heat, but after 33 days on the island undernourished, bit up by the bugs, afflicted with whatever the local diseases are, and generally mentally and physically worn down, one cannot reasonably expect them to be thinking 100% straight or to be as tolerant of people's quirks, bluster and bull$hit as they would be in real life. If they thought that keeping Monica was going to make the last 6 days more unpleasant, I don't blame them for keeping RussHell.

Neither do I, Robin, good point. I wouldn't want to be around an enraged RussHell. What I really meant by "big boys" is that the guys on the jury who are measuring game play cajones will not give them points for letting Russell intimidate them. It seems to me that Jaison and Mick are regarded as having weak game. The jury would be impressed by a manly move. Natalie is in a better position because people apply different standards to women. If a woman manages to use a powerful guy to get what she wants, without confrontation, that's arguably a successful strategy. Not one that Amanda was able to argue well, but she choked on her speech. (also Todd was not anything like Russell)

Here's another Missyae post from late tonight:Someone asked was it Sham or Jaison next. It is Shambo followed by Jaison and then Brett. I think Daves interviews are interesting about Mick not playing to win. Would he perceive Natalie as playing to win? I wonder what Brett will have to say to the jury once he arrives there and will it make any difference? Also given that Mick will be in the final 3 and he and Jaison have seemingly been plotting together will Mick get his vote or will Jaison go with the player he said \"I am starting to love that guy?\" I still think it might be an interesting vote. What is very comical here is that Natalie has married a rich doctor (since divorcing her rich ex-football player) and is well off. Then again maybe she needs the million so that if she divorces again she can get by on her own.I ended up liking Natalie more than I thought I would, but Russell deserves the win, oh well.
