Put the name of your choice for this week's boot in the subject heading! This is easy, just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlows Tribe, Time to Vote..." and replace with your vote, e.g., "JT!" Or, for example, if you think this will be a two-boot week: "JT and Tyson!" It doesn't matter which order you put them in unless it matters to you. This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Nicknames are tougher to tally unless they're really obvious without actually reading your post. Other things you want to vote on, exiles, who wins what challenge, how well the super-secret cross-tribal alliance will blow up, et cetera, these should go in your post not in your subject line. 2. Reply only to this post! We like a nice straight vote thread around here. Don't take it personally, we're just that way. EXCEPTION TO RULE 2! VOTE CHANGES! But to change your vote reply to your own vote post! Your new post heading should read, for example, "VOTE CHANGE: Sydney!" (Or perhaps "VOTE CHANGE: Ben and Sydney!") 3. This is not a discussion thread, do not treat it as such. There are plenty of places on the Spoilers Forum to debate the merits of people's arguments. But feel free to discuss the logic of your vote in your own post, cast all the extra votes there you want, who wins what challenge, whether an HII gets played at Tribal, we really are interested in what you have to say. 4. So, this week, while Taj is the misdirection, as I think if she were to go we would be getting all kinds of hype regarding the HII, either not used because they can't find it, or being over-confident when you have it, or using it to burn another....nothing in the promos regarding the HII or lack there of. So, I think Taj is safe. That leaves Sydney. I do think that Joe is coming into the bullseye, but he is still strength that they need, especially now that they are losing challenges...clearly, he is on the radar.   Top

I think though that Sydney will be the swing vote and she has less connection with Spencer than Joe. I don't think the tribe seems homophobic, but it's possible someone on there might be (JT? I hope not). Could be though that Spencer's "secret life" makes him stand a little apart. I don't think this tribe wants to get rid of anybody; they are forced to, so when it's a tough choice, any little thing can be the deciding factor. I think maybe Taj could persuade Sydney that rather than the two of them vote against each other, and the one who remains will be the last woman standing and next boot, Sydney should link up with her. I don't put any stock in Taj's vote for Joe. She picked someone to waste a vote on that she knew was safe, so I think that says the opposite of Joe being an alternate target. Joe seems awfully strong in challenges to me, even if he falters this time, and I'm not sure he does. He could go as a just pre-merge boot. If you go by facetime, Sydney got her story last week and could be toast, whereas Joe and Spencer have no story arc. By previews - they threw a Sandy misdirection in later in the week, just a tiny blurb, and this week they did it with Spencer.   Top

All season, the editors have been judiciously hiding the evictee each week. The only one who isn't a forefront, key player (character) this week who hasn't been shown much is Spencer. If we follow trends, the person we haven't seen develop goes home. There aren't many left, other than Joe and Spencer. Joe as a few gratuitous shots in the previews which makes me think it might be another minor misdirection.   Top

Looks like a strong fit dude...he's good looking, he's charming. I think if Joe gets on the right tribe he'll be a leader, he'll be strong at challenges and he'll probably be in the game for awhile. That really hasn't shown up much, he could be a target. He also said about Carolina: Nobody's going to get rid of her early, she's too cute. and we know how true that was. About Spencer Jeff says: ... I think the thing that might get in Spencer's way is that he could over think things. He knows Survivor so well, he's such a superfan, that he could over think it.... One clue said that one person did poorly at the challenge - Spencer has underperformed ... and overthought??? Brownroach found an interview that Sandy didn't know him very well, and didn't know he was gay until after the show. But then Sandy isn't a member of Mensa. And, on the other hand, Carolina said in an interview that Spencer was very strong, and missed his iPod ... how did she know that? just camp? Maybe. Let's see if I make it 3 misses in a row.   Top

And it appears that Spencer's different drumbeat may make him a target. And it appears that Joe could be the Challenge slacker. And it appears that Jalapao is going to Tribal Council.
