Been taking care of a feverish four-year-old all day. Everyone should know the general rules by now, so I'll just state the one way in which they differ for the final four. Ready? Subject line should list the contestants in the order that they will be booted. For example, if you believe that the contestants will finish out the game alphabetically... ie: Danni will finish in fourth place overall, Lydia will finish in third, and that the jury will choose Steph as the Sole Survivor over Rafe in the final jury selection, your subject line would read: "Danni/Lydia/Rafe/Steph." However - Danni has been sending me winning vibes for some time now, and I can't shake her as the winner out of my head. I think Lydia is much more interesting than most people, and I just can't picture her being on the jury. I'm hoping there may be a shake up in the spoiling world - Steph may swap places with Lydia. She isn't going to win - she's a much more logical f2 partner than Danni. then there's that spanish spoiler from way back when - can't shake that from my mind. Danni WILL win (I hope) but I don't think she'll win against steph.   Top

Danni outlasts Steph and Rafe to take F3 immunity and spends a long time alone to think about her decision, realizes that she has to break a promise to Rafe and pulls him aside to explain her reasoning to try and soothe things over before Rafe goes to the jury all pissed. Danni votes Rafe out. Danni just keeps things simple in her speech to the jury while Steph brags about how good she's been. The jury rips Steph about 6 new ones. Jury votes: Bobby Jon = Danni? Jamie = Danni Gary = Danni Judd = Danni Cindy = Steph Lydia = Steph? Rafe = Danni Danni wins 5-2.   Top

I think Steph will make a wonderful F2 foe, and I think that Rafe's "mistake free" game is bull-hockey....he made a fatal mistake that costs him the game...Lydia was just plain lucky to get to F4, and really had no business being there, imo. "Lydia / Rafe / Danni / Stephenie" I really think the win could go either way, but here is my take: Stephenie and Danni were never on the same tribe before the merge. In such F2 scenarios, most jurors are naturally inclined to vote for the person on their own original tribe, assuming the person didn’t screw you over and/or you didn’t outright dislike the person. So, with that in mind... Bobby Jon and Danni were on the same tribe all along pre-merge and we were told they were in a final 4 alliance from the beginning. Gary was on a tribe with Stephenie at first, but he will feel more loyalty to Danni since she was there fighting alongside him after the switch and at the merge. Danni never voted against Bobby Jon; she only voted for Gary at his boot TC because he told her to. Bobby Jon and Gary will vote for Danni to win. Rafe and Stephenie have been on the same tribe all along and have been in an alliance since the beginning of the game. They’ve worked closely together on boot strategy, always voting for the same person, with Rafe usually directing the boot. Of late Rafe incorporated Danni into his endgame plans, with Danni promising to take him to F2 if she wins F2 immunity. TDT’s spoiler says she reneges on this, which will likely throw Rafe for a loop. Stephenie will never have voted against Rafe. Rafe will vote for Stephenie to win. Cindy was briefly on the same tribe as Danni but was never in an alliance with her; she’s been with Stephenie longer and was in a Final 4 alliance with her. They were friendly; Stephenie had no problem with Cindy keeping the car, while others on the tribe did. Stephenie did help to vote Cindy out, but when casting her vote, Stephenie explained that she didn’t want to vote for Cindy but the others were going to vote for her so she would be gone anyway. She will explain this to Cindy during the jury questioning. Cindy will vote for Stephenie to win. Jamie was on the same tribe with Stephenie all along. Jamie wanted to get Stephenie out early, and later got on Stephenie’s nerves (and everyone else’s) by getting paranoid. He's been badmouthing her somewhat in interviews, and he may or may not blame her for his boot, but he had much more of connection to Stephenie than he did to Danni, with whom we never saw him interact. Stephenie can truthfully lay the blame for his boot to some degree on the rest of the tribe. I think Jamie will vote for Stephenie to win. Lydia had a minor contretemps with Stephenie over the reward issue, and Stephenie has entertained booting her at various junctures, but there is nothing to indicate that they intensely dislike each other. Lydia knows that Stephenie is one of the power players and that she (Lydia) has been on the outside. At the beginning of the game Lydia said to Stephenie, “you’re the reason I’m here!” Is she less starstruck now? Lydia also agreed with Stephenie about Cindy keeping the car. Like Jamie, we’ve not seen Lydia have much interaction with Danni. I think Lydia will vote for Stephenie to win. The hardest one is saved for last: Judd became part of Stephenie’s alliance after the switch and considered himself to be in a Final 2 alliance with her. He shared his reward with her on two occasions. We know how he felt about getting booted, but from his post-show interviews it seems he may not have thought Stephenie betrayed him immediately. He claims he didn’t realize it until he saw the show, which may or may not be true. Like Lydia and Jamie, we’ve barely seen him interact with Danni. Still, Judd is the most likely to take the F2 to task, and to react negatively to something either one of them says by voting for the other one out of spite. I think Stephenie is more likely to get his goat of the two, so... I think Judd will vote for Danni to win. Final tally: Stephenie 4 / Danni 3 Alternate scenario is that either Jamie or Lydia votes for Danni instead of Stephenie and the final score is Danni 4 / Stephenie 3. But they've not been hyping an "intense" or "shocking" final Tribal Council so I have a feeling the general audience is going to get what they want.   Top

"Lydia/Rafe/Steph/Danni" LAST EDITED ON 12-11-05 AT 03:43 AM (EST) Oops, I forgot to vote, I guess because I made my mind up on this order weeks ago, based on Phoenix/TDT/ToT spoilers. It was the mid-jury boots that had some questions. Once the promo came out that the auction had an immunity clue, it was all signed and sealed for me. As far as who wins, I don't see a slam dunk. I think Cindy, Lydia, and Rafe will vote Steph even though Cindy may give her a hard time. BJ and Gary Danni. Jamie I have a hard time seeing him give a respect vote to someone he called "hitler" who cut him out at least two places before their alliance was supposed to start cannibalizing. So Danni. To me, Judd is the swing vote. He didn't see one of the votes, and he might have excused Steph, but that I think he'll ask Steph for an accounting on his boot at TC and I can see her confirming the boot, trying to justify, and he won't buy it. So his vote will be anti-Steph rather than for Danni, but I think it'll be for Danni. I'll go with 4-3, Danni, and Steph'll be walking funny for some time from the reaming she'll get. ETA This doesn't take into account the "no way in hell I'll vote that a two-season-in-a-row player has earned the million" sentiment. I don't know how much that will factor in. The jurors talk about how they believed that was a huge deal, but is that really a reason to negate that someone made F2? I'm not a Steph fan, but the odds against her getting far 2nd time around were pretty staggering, so why penalize her as having an unfair advantage? I just can't predict how this will impact the vote.   Top

I'll probably be eating crow for this, but I just have this feeling that it's a Steph win. I agree with Brownroach's reasoning on the voting lines, although I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Bobby Jon or Judd voting for Steph (but on the flip side, I do think that Jamie could quite easily vote for Danni). Also, in terms of editing, I feel that Danni's been a little too hidden and a bit of a non-entity to be the winner. This season has been the Steph show from the beginning and for good reason. Finally, some people have mentioned Jamie's key quote in episode 1 ("how can I win with her around?") as a sign that he casts the deciding vote against her, but I read it more as a statement that no one else does win because Steph's there. Anyways, either I'll be right or I'll have egg on my face   Top
