Later you will see a picture of a blue buff. I think this is an attempt by MB to think that they are going to be one big tribe but really they are not. Reasons why: 1. Green flag has no tribe name on it Cant get the pics to upload right 2. Buff we see is blue - not green 3. I dont remember any time when they were on day 2 or late day 1 w/o having their buffs. This one is big sized just for weezy   Top

I don't think so...but I'll have to study it more when I have a minute. So. A theory. Survivors land on shore, all twenty. Jeff is there waiting for them. He says 'you 10, come with me. The rest of you stay here.' They walk a hundred yards to the other camp. The 2 camps are in sight of each other. Boundary line is set (war theme). No buffs are used because we know there's no money in the Jiffy budget for that--hell, they couldn't get more than pringles and beer last season...(okay, so I can't explain the no buffs). They appear to be still wet in the walking photos and in the group photo. Willard has a wet stain on his lovely gray undies that I *assume* (hope) is sea water.... What was the wording -- did TV guide say 1 tribe? Hrm. Edited to say: Nope. Ian is in both the walking pics and the group pic. In the group pic, his hair is wet and Willard appears wet--I think that's just one of the two boatloads, having just come on shore, gathering to wait for the other, maybe. I don't think it's a tribe. So either Kimberly or Jennifer, who look very similar. Kimberly is the one we see with the Blue Buff though, so if the teams are green and blue, it would be Jennifer.   Top

Sorry wheeze, but I gotta...um...disagree Although it looks like 10 ...as you said But actually, from L to R Willard / Ibrehem / Stephanie / Jonathan / Ian / Ashlee(sitting) / Jolanda / Gregg / Wanda(in dark dress, sitting) and Caryn. But when you add this close up ... Both James and Kimberly pop into the shot. James's nose in front of Jonathan. Kimberly is sitting in front of Ian(next to Ashlee). So theres at least 12 people in this group. There's also quite a bit more but, people are changing positions alot. Like when Stephanie walks into the group with Angie... We get to see that Jennifer and Katie are there, along with Ibrehem and Willard(in their same positions) now we can see Wanda and Tom (sitting on a log) Then Gregg, Kimberly and Caryn(in a line) show up (in front of the Green Tribal Flag)along with Jolanda (on the left shoulder of Angie) and other guys in the background(on Angie's right). Here's Wanda Tom and Kim sitting on the log together, as in the shot prior... Here's Willard Wanda Tom and Kim in their same positions but Janu is also there this time. and one more of Caryn sitting down in front of Tom and Kim... I guess all I'm trying to say is ... At this time, it is still not a "convenient" group of 10. This is still a group of 20 and no one has gotten lost or been kicked off yet. Sn'DCS©MMIV   Top

I believe the person blocking James in the first cap is Jeff, not Jonathan aha! I can hardly see the difference between the 2 of them, even in the pics you posted. But, I'm starting to see it now. I did it moreso for the reason of de-bunking the 'already-split-into-a-convenient-team-of-10' discussion going on above. However, it is definitely odd, and noticable, that BJ and Jonathan are missing from these shots. I don't want to say they are the "Lost" ones just yet, but, we could be onto something. However -- there's another shot floating around that seems to take place at the same time, you can see Willard and Ibrehem in the same position in the background and Angie and Jennifer are in the front off to the side talking to a dark-haired guy sitting on the ground with his back to the camera. That guy is probably BJ or Coby. In any case, I'm inclined to think that even though we may not be seeing one or two people here, no one has been eliminated yet. Bridge for sale to highest bidder. "My take on beginning" LAST EDITED ON 01-13-05 AT 03:09 PM (EST) Presumedly, Jeff says "Row to your new home. You'll start as one tribe." And if things go like they do in every other Survivor, the castaways won't see Jeff until the first challenge. Using vidcaps: We see them arriving in boats: Various images of them making camp: And then we have these shots of Jeff leading the castaways somewhere. Why is Jeff at camp? My guess is he is showing up at the beach after they started to get things going and telling them they have to split into pairs and make it to the challenge spot. One pair doesn't make it they are eliminated. Everyone gets buffs (all blue if one tribe or blue and green if two tribes) and they do the challenge. I also don't think we'll see that shot in the actual show. We'll probably just see Jeff showing up and then everyone will be grouped around like they are at challenges.   Top

We only see 3 ladies by the boat and they are soaking wet. Assume they jump off the boat and have to swim to the boat. Alliances will be interesting having them spend days together at first. I guess MB is trying to avoid them pickign off the other tribe at the end. Lots of hype on tthe young good looking people ~ last game they picked off all the young one first off...did this group watch any of last season? If so they may go for the older peopel this season.   Top
