Thinking this sounds more like Julie. I don't see Ami being in a postion to sway anyone. Julie's the one who's in limbo here and might be making a last-minute play to sway something, which of course won't work.

There are really two parts to this clue.

First is the "suddenly powerless castaway", we assume this to be Ami or Julie, but maybe its Eliza. Her Ep 11 vote was more of a "save my neck" vote than it was an indication of an alliance. With Chris, Twila, and Scout appearing to be tight, Eliza may feel alienated from everyone and feels "suddenly powerless".

Second is the "undecided tribe member", with a voting block of four what is there to be undecided about for the next TC? We've seen Chris and Julie exchanging information, I assume Julie would be the next target if Ami wins IC and Chris may be undecided about voting for Julie.

In the end, it wouldn't surprise me to see Eliza talking to Chris about booting Twila.

Things are never as they appear.

If this is in reference to Ami, it would suggest that she doesn't have immunity.

It is probably Julie. Ami's nodding glance to Eliza at the TC said "Sorry about your luck" but it was Ami's luck that had changed. Why would anyone want to ally themselves with Ami now? With only 2 IC until the F4 it doesn't make sense for the Eliza/Chris/Twila/Scout group to change anything. All along these 4 were going to be systematically ejected by the Ami/Leann/Julie alliance and they know it. Eliza has been at the short end of the vote since week1 and the Dolly episode. Chris was the dead man walking last week until Leann slipped into beleiving that she had ultimate power over who stays and who goes. (What was that about Absolute Power corrupts Absoultely-I digress...). Twila and Scout have the upper hand in this new grouping and certainly wouldn't want to give any break to Ami who told Scout that no promise was made to her about F4. You have to wonder what Ami and Leann were thinking not to shore up that 4th spot, by not commiting to either Scout or Twila and subsquently voting against Eliza this leaves only Chris the quintisential enemy of the Ami/Leann alliance (being one of the guys you know)Ami is also a strong physical threat in the IC which is not lost on the other players. This leaves Julie who you have to admit has had very good luck to this point remaining in the game despite the fact that she has bad luck in choosing alliances. Remember Dolly/Lisa/Eliza/Julie alliance from early in the game-D'oh! then chumming up to Sarge and convincing that group to keep her and vote off John only to turn on them at the 1st chance and finally the trail leads to this point-has a player ever been a part of so many allainces and survived? Maybe, but Julie was a little too visual in her connection to Leann to gain her any trust. Also blabbing to Chris about the Eliza vote proves that she is not to be trusted. In the final anaylsis it has to be concluded that Julies vote is the only vote Ami could convince to join with her but this is only rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. At this point I don't need any prodding to watch anyway as the last TC was Phenominal!

See ya soon

As long as Ami does not win the IC next week, she will be gone. Then if Julie is smart she would try her hardest to buddy up with Chris and Eliza. Eliza has never trusted Scout and Twila. And once Ami and Julie are gone Scout and Twila seem the strongest alliance. So Chris and Eliza might be smart to use Julie at this time. Chris knows Julie has helped give him info. So Chris and Eliza as the #3 and #4 with Scout and Twila need to get a tie breaking vote to break up the Scout/Twila group. Julie could be used for this purpose.

Completely and totally agree. I was surprised to see that Julie was giving Chris information and apparently had been all along since the merge. She sure can play all sides. Chris didn't tell her about the vote change. Julie is going to get him back but good.

Why should Chris give Julie info about the vote change? Look what happened with the Chad boot -- the guys thought they had two women in their back pockets but Ami worked over the girls and got them to stay the course in the last hours before TC. So, Chris has learned to not trust Julie when it comes to the vote and he figured that if he had Scout and Eliza in his back pocket, it's better to zip it.

I think Chris trusted Twila/Scout more so than he did Eliza. Twila was very confident to Chris that he had the Twila/Scout vote. IMHO.

This could be post-TC with Scout going off on Ami and defending her Leanne vote.

The tribe is irritated by two tribemates who show little desire to contribute to routine camp life.

We know Eliza does little around camp and there's no reason to believe her behaviour will change. Eliza is probably one of the two people who will provide misdirection for next week.

A suddenly powerless castaway attempts to sway an undecided tribe member going into a crucial Tribal Council.

*snickering* at the "crucial" -- aren't they all? Undecided could be Twila, who is always undecided. But it could also be Julie, who gets the boot for being undecided, a la Christy.

Yes, kitties can have blogs, too.

First off, I think I need to be sure to start out by saying this is CBS and this type of stuff sometimes goes unshown on the show!

However, in order to be suddenly powerless would imply that one was in power at some point in time. So, to be powerless the one would not be in the current pact of four (if it holds and at this point would be stupid not to stay together!) Eliza, Scout, Chris and Twila.

That leaves Ami and Julie. Was Julie ever in power? I don't think so. I think this is in reference to Ami (the powerless one and if Snewser is right with his early pick of Ami...she doesn't win immunity). With that deduction, Julie would be the undecided.

However, does this really matter? The pact of four will determine the boot!

One tribe member accosts another for breaking a pact.

This will be Ami/Twila. Ami said it herself to Scout in the last episode that she didn't have a final 4 pact, so it won't be Scout. Julie and Chris have an agreement of sorts, but Chris never broke that pact by voting off Leann, he knew Julie was safe. Julie is still in a great spot because the biggest threat around is Ami and once Ami is gone, Julie will be needed by Chris/Eliza to get rid of the other power couple of Twila/Scout. (Hence an eruption of magnetic proportions when Twila finds out that all her hard work backstabbing people and she still doesn't get to the F2)

So the only other person that had a pact to be broken was Twila who was still secure in the F4 with Leann/Julie/Ami. Twila swore on her sons name that she would stay with them, and then she broke her word. Ami will let her know about it. (even though we see her saying nice move)

The tribe is irritated by two tribemates who show little desire to contribute to routine camp life.

Eliza continues to be lazy, Julie decides to not do much either. It will all be a pile of misdirection away from the Ami boot.

A suddenly powerless castaway attempts to sway an undecided tribe member going into a crucial Tribal Council.

Ami is the powerless one, and she may reel in Eliza or think she has reeled in Eliza into voting for Chris this week and at least getting back on track for the women power trip. But alas, it won't work and Ami will become the next juror.

Agree, this will be the diversion that's supposed to make us think Ami stands a chance of staying. I can see Julie sliding into a funk after the last TC, and Eliza has been edited as a perennial red herring target.
