LeftPinky, I think you're right. Shawn may be jealous of all the attention Rupert is getting for catching fish and decides to try his hand at it. He accidentally breaks the spear gun and Rupert gets upset because without the spear gun, it threatens to eliminate his role as main food provider.

Webby, thanks for the quick work on the vidcaps!#14 Looks like Ryan S. is feeling unloved after Andrew accused him of not carrying hid weight during the challenge. Andrew basically blamed Ryan S. for their defeat, and Ryan appears to react by giving up. A little ironic after his advise ti Lillian to not give up until her torch is out...

I agree that Ryan is probably the 'quitter' -- which brings up 2 interesting (to me anyhow) points...Is the 'key quote' discussion regarding Ryan S & JP's "don't give up" speeches just an ironic foreshadowing of Ryan's giving up this Ep? Also -- rewatching the IC in Ep one, Ryan S. was pulling like mad. I don't know what Andrew saw, but it sure looked to me like Ryan S. was kicking it. OTOH, Jon on Drake looked a wee bit casual during IC. OK, so you're not a strong guy Jon, you better at lease make it look like you're trying your damndest.

I think Andrew convinced himself that Ryan S. didn't cut it in IC because he wanted someone to blame and thereby firm up a boot for TC. Nicole, Darrah and Tijuana had already gotten cliquish (despite Nicole's dislike of Tijuana), and Andrew, Ryan O. and Osten were the Nude Boys' Club. Ryan S. and Lill were the most convenient scapegoats, no doubt helped by the fact that either seemed like a stereotypical first boot anyway (weakest male, oldest female). Andrew seems to like Lill more than Ryan S., for whatever reason, so he directed his wrath at Ryan.

Na, that's OK Joisey, vidcapping the 10 second preview that airs every week at 8:55PM (and I'm already recording) is the easy part... doing the season opening theme after Ep1 and trying to chase down each week's subsequent commercials is the difficult part.Thanks,

In pics 4 and 5 (the confrontation) it looks like Shawn's hair is pretty dry (it looks kinda fluffy in the front, bangs kinda blowing in the wind) whereas Rupert's hair looks very wet (plastered to his head). The spear looks broken to me. The prongs are missing. (although I am no expert on what these things are supposed to look like). Shawn is holding a face mask (or goggles, whatever) in his other hand.
Don't know what it could mean...just pointing it out
