"Heidi" Normally, spoilers would be better off excluding best strategic moves for players, because players rarely act strategically. However, this season, we have some real strategists. Remember Colleen (no, not as a strategist), she didn’t think anybody would watch Survivor because all castaways ever did was do nothing. Castaways have three whole days to do nothing at all before TC. Imagine how many end game scenarios you could run in your head during three days and figure out how the next vote will get you to any desired end game scenarios (oh, that sounds like game theory, Mr. Nash…). Rob is doing this 24/7, and he created another full time strategist in Matt (just see Matt’s comments in the Markopolo transcripts – thanks Marko, your posts provide a lot of insight). While See Bee Es’ website is usually full of misdirection, it does provide the useful concept of “elimination vote” – a vote cast by X to vote out Y, when Y was actually kicked off. Guess what the current elimination-vote streaks alive are? Rob 8, Matt 7, Heidi 1, and Jenna 1. Rob went to TC 8 times and every time had a hand in voting somebody out. Matt did not know (or gave the impression that he did not know) what was going on at the first TC. Ever since, Matt has had a hand in voting somebody out. In fact, the last three TCs in particular have been great in Survivor history – never seen before: Ep9 Rob & Matt align with Heidi/Jenna/Alex to boot cocky Deena. Ep10 Rob & Matt align with Christy/Butch to boot cocky Alex. Ep11 Rob & Matt align with Heidi/Jenna to boot (suddenly) cocky/indecisive Christy. Rob & Matt just go back and forth. While a lot has been said about Rob going back and forth, little has been said about Matt doing the exact same thing. Yet it strikes me that (i) Matt is a master at planting seeds in Rob’s head, so that Rob thinks he’s coming up with all the strategic moves, and (ii) Matt is continuing to play “the student” of teacher Rob. I conjecture both know the end game scenarios inside-out and should they both reach the final 3, they will not do the nice Tina-Colby thing. But it’s not F3 time, it’s F5 time – still time for Rob & Matt to stick together and do yet another re-alignment with Butch. Sure, there is this cozy vidcap of Butch with the evil stepsisters, but Butch is not going to vote against hardworking Matt. Nor could Butch vote for Rob if Rob wins IC. The IC is some rope swinging thing, and vidcaps show Rob in the lead, so he might be a good candidate for this IC (side note – combine Bungler’s vidcaps 22-23 to conclude there are four unused ropes when Rob starts swinging – thanks Bugler, you’re the vidcap king). And Matt would gladly let Rob win the IC so that Butch does not have the option to vote for Rob. Again, Matt would make a brilliant choice when to throw an IC. So, who do Rob/Matt/Butch vote for? Misdirection: Jenna is sick and wants out – why would R/M/B care? Vote Heidi. Perfect F2 opponent (per Rob, be sure Matt paid attention): Jenna. Vote Heidi. BoDog (if not influenced by CO): F2 is Matt/Jenna. Vote Heidi. Irony editing: Heidi saying it would be great for her to get rid of Jenna. Vote Heidi. Webby’s recent post re. Heidi on Letterman. Vote Heidi. Heidi goes 3-2 (or 4-1 if Jenna is backstabber). forehead   Top

"Heidi" Alex’s departure, after Rob’s defection, left Rob, Matthew, Butch in control of the game, with a clear path to the F4, if they could get Christy to vote with them. Christy seemed willing and it was agreed that Heidi would be the next target. Christy had the “evil step-sisters” where she wanted them, but let her new found power go to her head, teasing both Heidi and Rob with her “undecided vote”. In the end Rob couldn’t risk a tie, so he made Jenna and Heidi an offer they couldn’t refuse…Rob and Matthew were uncomfortable with the uncertainty of Christy’s vote, so they sacrificed her knowing that Heidi and Jenna would gladly go along with voting out Christy in order to save themselves. Rob and Matthew may have even promised Jenna they would not vote for her in exchange for her vote against Christy, giving Jenna the confidence to protect her friend Heidi with the Immunity transfer…a little insurance that Rob and Matthew would follow through and vote for Christy as agreed. Markopolo’s Insider Transcript of Rob and Matthew’s vote confirms their disappointment in Christy’s lack of commitment to their F4 alliance. With Christy gone Rob, Matthew and Butch have a comfortable 3-2 advantage over Heidi and Jenna, without the worry of Christy jumping ship. Theoretically Rob could also team up with Heidi and Jenna, but he realizes he would be the third wheel in that alliance. (The Insider Transcript also confirms this). Heidi and Jenna want revenge and he knows he stands a much better chance of making it to the F2 with the help of loyal, trustworthy Matthew and his fishing buddy Butch. Game Logic suggests the alliance of Rob, Matthew and Butch can now go back to the original plan of voting out Heidi, with the back-up plan of Jenna if Heidi wins immunity, or has it transferred to her. In the wake of last week’s episode, the ChillOne and Milkshaky spoilers lost a lot of credibility. There is however, still good evidence to suggest both spoilers were based on fact, but became distorted and inaccurate because of interpretation. They are both close, but neither is exact. The BoDog gambling spoiler seems to confirm that ChillOne was close on the F4 and perhaps correct on the F2. In either case, Jenna and Matthew appear safe this week and make it to the F4, if not the F2. Jenna has been weakened emotionally, as well as physically. The letter from her mom, followed by the visit from her dad, appear to have her questioning the importance of the game when compared to real life. The Insider Transcript also confirms that Jenna is apparently ready to throw in the towel. We have vidcaps of her crying in the previews… “One Survivor is worn out and sick, and begs to be voted out. Will the others comply?” “Rob: You're willing to put your head on the chopping block, I'm willing to lop it off”. “Heidi: Having Jenna voted out works to my advantage.” These three quotes are all probably referring to Jenna, ready to leave the game, but we can assume (because of some combination of Bodog, ChillOne and Milkshaky) that Jenna outlasts Heidi. Rob, Matthew and Butch want to split up Heidi and Jenna, to avoid the risk a tie at F4. Heidi is still the target, as she was originally early during EP11. Jenna wants to leave, as we can conclude from the previews and Markopolo’s Insider Transcript, and Heidi doesn’t, as we see from her comment: “Having Jenna voted out works to my advantage”...but ironically, strategies revealed do not succeed… If Heidi were to win Immunity, Jenna would be next. But since the spoiler evidence supports Jenna outlasting Heidi, we can conclude that Heidi does not win Immunity this week and is therefore, voted out instead. The ChillOne was close…Milkshaky was close, (maybe just a week off due to the recap episode, and stated Heidi did not make the final four)… and Webby’s Letterman Spoiler confirms a Heidi boot. "Heidi" Basically, the most compelling argument is that the evil sisters simply have to be split up NOW. Their voting bloc is too big a threat to everyone else this late in the game. Jenna needs to be kept around as an attractive F2 opponent, but Heidi is clearly a big target. Has to be her.   Top

In terms of the betting scandal, why would it come up during this season and not at the end of last season? The BoDog people don't know who win, so why bring it up now. ChillOne has been wrong several times. Milkshaky based his assumption that Heidi goes because she had a plane ticket on May 1st and he assumed it was a trip to NY which is why he said May 1st episode. Webby, you are the only reason I considered changing my vote to Heidi, and since you said your info was not 100%, I'll go out on a limb and go Matthew. We see vidcaps of Heidi, Jenna, and Butch hugging each other and smiling. Butch has been screwed by Rob/Matt twice now..once on Rodger, and now on Christy. Can he trust them? Or does he jump fences and go with Jenna and Heidi. Matt states over and over and over and over that he doesn't know how to play Survivor. Either we're being set up for him to outdo Rob, or plain and simple, he just doesn't get it. The IC looks physical and we have seen Matthew let Rob win a few ICs in the past. Butch/Jenna/Heidi vote Matthew. Rob/Matthew vote Jenna thinking Heidi has switched sides which she has said she is willing to do, so an offer must have been made. All spoilers are crushed and we are left with 3 days to figure it out. Alternate: Jenna   Top

Jenna is perceived by Rob and probably by Matthew as the best person to be seated opposite you at final 2. Heidi is also perceived as a bigger physical threat than Jenna (although from where I sit, she looks pretty shaky to me). The teasers about Butch getting buddy-buddy with the evil stepsisters reminds me of how it was thought that Butch and Christy had some sort of special bond. But Butch has followed along with whatever male alliance he has been in from the beginning. He'll stay true to form. He has lasted this long simply because there were more important targets to take out first. He'll last a little longer for the same reason. Heidi will go this time, and I believe Butch will be the next, leaving a final three of Rob, Matthew and Jenna.   Top

Is that Matt?(4) Christy (1) Jana/Jenna(3) But as we all know. Christy has already been booted. Which means the other 3 should all be unsafe. Jenna, Matt and Butch/Rob are all unsafe. But there are reasons for the t-mates to keep Jenna at the moment(good F2), as well as keeping Rob(another good F2). Point 2: Looking at the "Sunday preview cap.s" (I know this is a long shot) Butch, Heidi and Jenna are seen in the shots coming to or actually going past the "door". Butch than goes to the rope swing which Rob is already "Banzai"ing to the bottom of. This makes me think that Matt is not a part of that series of "challenge shots". Matt is shown in a "rope-like" challenge, but I think that shot may be from Thursday's show. The one in which Heidi and/or Butch wins(IC/RC). Point 3: Matt's un-game-like behavior is either a set-up for him to boot his "mentor", Rob.(for irony) Or Matt actually getting played, by Rob.(even more ironic) Me thinks the latter. BoDogg and CO and Milkshakey are all wrong. Heidi and Rob go at it in F2. Who would you vote for? tribephyl   Top

Matt will explain to Butch what happened last week and he will be comfortable with that. Butch wants to make it as far as he can in the show to set a good example for his kids. Rob, the master, will once again teach his student, Matt, about the game. He will explain that if they go to the final 4 H/J/R/M it will be a 2-2 vote and they purple rock will come out. Not good because you never know who goes then and neither one will want that. Matt will explain it to Butch. "Heidi" Yes, Butch is the outsider, but booting him sets up a purple rock possibility in the F4, which none of the players want. So, which pair does Butch align with? The girls, who've basically treated everyone who's not cute like crap, or the guys who betrayed him? Something tells me Rob the Spinmaster will figure out a way to bring Butch back in the testosterone fold one more time. What spoiler evidence do we have? ChillOne's gone cold, Milkshaky's gone sour. That leaves the Letterman bit and BoDogg. Both point to Heidi leaving and Jenna going. Since Rob has said he wants her in the F2 because he thinks she's the only one he can beat, from a game play standpoint it makes sense to stick with the spoiler evidence and vote for a Heidi boot instead of a Jenna boot.   Top

The Yahoo Premium stuff shows that Rob wants Heidi out more than anybody else, and he has the votes to do it. Misdirection points her way. The Letterman info is the icing on the cake, the gravy on the mashed potatoes, the pickles on the hamburger - the final touch. So take a hike, trampzilla!   Top
