PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Rudy. He played the game the best. Sure, Richard did play the game well enough to make it pretty far, but Rudy knew the game and he knew how to play it. He joined the alliance, so his back would be covered. He then shut up and did as he was told. He is smart. I don't think Richard thought to far ahead. He made it known that he was the leader. That ticked everyone off. No one likes a cocky fat man. Rudy is the winner...he stumbled out of the gate but then quickly learned how to play. He played dumb for 39 days....now he will be laughing all the way to the bank. RUDY RUDY RUDY.

The winner can't be Rudy because he doesn't deserve to win! Jeff summed it up when he said that Rudy was flying under the radar. What kind of cowardly 'strategy' is that? Besides, the editing would have been different if Rudy wins, he's been portrayed as just a laughable old man. Rich is the star of this show.

I think any man his age who can survive 39 days on an island deserves it as much as anyone else. What haven't you seen Rudy do? He hasn't gone to Kelly and tried to get her on his side away from Sue and Rich. He hasn't gone to Sue and try to get her on his side away from Kelly and Rich... Sue, Kelly, and Rich are all playing eachother right now while Rudy is trusting Rich's word of honor. Rudy honest (too honest sometimes) and won't be the one turning on Rich. There is a lot to be said for being honorable.. and Rudy, so far, has been. Unless you believe lies and backstabbing is more worthy of reward Rudy is the ONLY one left that deserves the money.

Rudy wouldn't have been my first choice to win, but out of the four that are left, I hope soooooooo much that he does.

Of course, Rudy doesn't have a lot of options at this point either! He can't win IC, so all he can do is bluster and plead with Rich to choose him over Susan. If Rudy were 52 instead of 72, I don't think he'd be so suppliant!

Rudy does deserve credit for staying alive all these days, at his age.I agree with you on that one. Is Rudy that bluntlly honest??i'm sure he would like to tell you that he also hates Blacks, latinos, and anyone non-christian. But he's savvy enough to know this will cause him a lot of aggravation,so best not to admit to those sorts of racist feelings.

Even if Rudy does get by riding on Rich's coat tail, isn't that an act of 'survival' in itself? I think it's pretty clever. Why not let Rich do all the evil, dirty work? Crafty folks, those final 4...

Quoting Wiglesworth at the "Survivor" bar,EP 12: "We're not evil, we just play bad people on TV." Was she being very perceptive, or was she onto something? It certainly sounds like she's aware of the fact that it's all in the bag and the participants collect the biggest awards by... Catering to the producers wishes; once they've figured out who the producers are building a pedestal for, DO NOT INTERFERE with the enthronement of the Chosen One. If you do all you can to assist in their coronation ceremony, they'll see to it that you're around longer than the people who aren't bright enough to catch on. Survivor's almost a metaphor for the party Conventions. And anyone who thought that Bush and Gore were in competition with others from their respective parties... tch tch tch. The "winners" are selected long before the conventions, and the assignment of delegate votes is pretty much cut and dried before they even hang the bunting. In short, Dicque is Boesch's Cheney.
