I think Heidi is getting played, and if she's not, then Dave is pretty dumb too. Dave is dumber than Jenna, as it turned out. He was smart to pick Heidi first, breaking up the alliance that Jenna revealed. But his next move should have been to boot Heidi out of the game. It was clear from what Jenna told him that Jeanne had no alliances in Jaburu. And Christy said repeatedly how much more comfortable she was on her new tribe. Either one of them, but especially Jeanne, would have been a much more strategic choice to recruit. And Heidi made it very obvious at TC that she still feels a close bond with Jenna. Bad move, Dave. Now the previews tell us that Butch and Roger may be writing their own ticket without Dave's input.   Top

Past Survivor history has proven that those that switch team in alliances are among the first to go. Remember Brandon from Survivor 3? Now the guys are at a 6-5 advantage and you really think that Dave, Roger, and Butch will keep Heidi around rather than say Alex in a merge? I seriously doubt it. ANd the guys would be smart to keep plucking the girls off one by one now. Only saving grace will be for the new Jabaru to vote a guy off next week and then be a merge of the two tribes. Heidi's strategy was nothing but stupid. Now that being said I think Dave is gonna pull his integrity thing and find that he really likes Christy and also recall that he promised Heidi he would not vote for her. So he may vote Roger out at the next tribal council. Because Dave is stupid like Heidi. Young players in Survivor just don't have it.   Top

"Sources" The question with any source is this -- how much trust should you put in what it has to say? Everyone has sources. There are people posting on this board who know contestants and former contestants. I had a source who told me early in S3 about something that was going to happen ... which turned out, several episodes later, to be 100% accurate. So having a source isn't surprising. Having an ACCURATE source, though, is priceless.   Top

Before I give a statement defending Heidi's vote tonight, I want to giv ethe credit where the credit it due: SNEWSER!!! Nobody even mentioned Jeanne until he did!! Now to try and defend Heidi's move tonight. Granted, she is a traitor (to some extent). In that situation though, Heidi made what I thought was the right call. Dave told her that Jenna is a blabbering fool and spilled the beans on their alliance. Now are at odds because you have to choose between either the men who you have no alliance with or the woman who you have no alliance with. If she chooses to go with the woman, she might put herself on the line with the evil purple rock! If she goes with the men, not only does she take out an enemy, she puts herself in the 4 spot and to her knowledge into the merge, back with her former alliance members, who could have added to the alliance with some "hot man juice". Heidi made the right call at the moment, but that doesn't mean it won't come back and bite her in the ass. I have my first meeting with a supplier this afternoon and saw NOTHING on a Jeanne boot prior to leaving! I got home when the opening credits were rolling and expect everything to play out as predicted! Everything seemed right! And then when Dave and Jenna picked tribes and Dave chose Heidi I'm thinking "okay" so Shawna stays on Jaburu, they lose, and she still gets booted. WTF? I'm so screwed in all the games! Some of us can't read the spoiler boards the last minute! Oh well! I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying the Amazon and I think the swap will even make it more fun. Shawna doesn't look so sick anymore!!!! And Alex's injury was nothing. I don't know what the heck is going to happen next, and I may just completely avoid spoliers from here on out and just enjoy the show! BTW I agree Heidi probably did what she had to do.   Top

One of them goes to my church, so that's how I know. Even without the hemming and hawing, which Christy might have not got the full impact of because she's deaf, Christy will know for sure that Heidi voted for Jeanne, simply because she didn't herself. Whether that will matter in the short run I don't know, but if both women make the merge, which seems likely, Christy might tell the rest of the remaining women about Heidi's treason after the merge, and if Heidi indeed was 11th voteoff, that might be what did her in. Alex and Shawna better not be too in your face to the other Jaburus about their love connection, because if they are so blatant about it that the others realize that they probably won't vote each other off, they will all have to unite on the same one of those two to be sure of saving their own hides, because if Alex and Shawna vote for the same person and anybody else votes the same, all the other four are at risk of outright voteoff or of losing a breaker, whatever that is this time. Were I those four, I'd not want to chance getting dumped by the purple rock, so I'd unite and dump the lovebirds if they make it too obvious, and we know Deena is already clued in. If Jaburu loses the next IC, I think Shawna will finally go, and with a merge approaching, if they lose the Ep. 6 IC, they'll boot their strongest, which may be Alex, thus fulfilling the Alex-Shawna loser lodge theory. One thing's for sure, with the way the swap went down, this game just got interesting as hell.   Top
