I thought at first that they are just shots of them returning from the TC where they lost Stephanie. They look worn out or dejected in the pics and consoling Robb. But where are the torches if they are travelling back to camp? Could this be after a challenge that they lost? Perhaps the Takro ball sling challenge shown in the shots. Robb is seen catching the balls, maybe he lost it for them. I believe that we are seeing the challenge using the takro balls shown at Survivorfever.net. There are also pics pre-show that showed the building of those large slings. Unfortunately, I can not find the pics showing the slings.   Top

The promo shows Ted cutting across Robb in the challenge, somewhere around neck level..TOUCHE to CG tribe. Retribution for Robbs' choke hold on Clay. This actually shows better on the video at CBS, Ted seems to really take it to Robb   Top

What's with the "8 weeks"? The first episode was September 19th. 8 weeks from September 19th is November 7th, which is when Episode 8 is scheduled to air. If these are clips for Ep. 6 (to air on October 24), why does it say "8 weeks"? Also, there does seem to be a lot of focus on Robb. MB appears to be shoving Robb down our throats. I know Ghandia was a gimme, but I doubt he'd give us Robb too. Maybe he wants us to believe it's Robb, when it's really Shii Ann . . . or dare I say it: Ken.   Top

Totalling 13 episodes, 3 days per episode with the last 2 hour finale covering 6 days (final four). Does that make sense? I guess that gives us a finale date of...Dec 12th?   Top

KEN IS WEARING HIS CAP IN THE NIGHT SHOT, and wearing his buff at TC!! compared to the night shot So this must be post challenge, and by the looks of the faces and the consoling of ROBB, SOOK JAI LOST! We know the reward challenge is for a THAI feast. What we dont know is if the SLING SHOT challenge was late enough in the day (say around dinner time??) that they might be returning from that challenge in the dark.... OR another challenge that is done after dark. And what prompts Robb to cry about the Loved ones in his life???? Is it related to the challenge, or just the outcome?   Top

But I still think that it is a possible theory that should be presented. The reward challenge takes place during the day. The light is bright, and is reflecting off of Ted's sweat. It looks like the light is overhead. The later night shots seem like SJ is coming home from a challenge. Notice that the tribe is walking all together, and that Ken is wearing his buff on his left wrist. You can see this in the second night shot. While the survivors do wear their buffs around camp, they usually wear them functionally (ie. as a shirt). Survivors wear their buffs as accessories to Challenges. This leads me to believe that Sook Jai Loses Immunity. The team is obviously upset, and Robb sounds like he's crying. It looks like the famous REDEMPTION EDITING. Yes Robb, loved one's ARE important. Alright, I'd like to present a theory that contradicts the one I have above, but I think it's better thought out. Look at what Robb is wearing on his head. Since it's the night-cam, there is no color, but it looks to be his buff. It looks to be the same way he was wearing his buff in the challenge shots. It is also the same shirt he is wearing in the challenge shots. Robb and Ken are wearing the same shirts in the vidcaps where they fight. This seems to be that night. My guess is now not that SJ loses immunity, but that SJ wins the reward challenge (a physical event), and is coming home after the feast. They may look down, but they could also be stuffed. (remember in S3 when Samburu ate all that food in the bleacher challenge and Dumb Kim was sick afterwards? "Only vomit a little" -Lindsey) So, it looks like Ken and Robb kiss and makeup the night after their fight, although I doubt Ken is sincere. Once people swear at you and are total asses, it's really hard to be redeemed. I think that maybe Robb was feeling sated and touchy-feely after a nice big meal. MM   Top

After I read your analysis I went right over to "Spoiler Island" and made my Reward Challenge vote. I think you nailed it! The preview vidcaps normally follow the sequence of the show, so I wondered why the "return from TC" night vision shots were out of sequence? They normally come at the beginning...your analysis explains it very nicely. They win the Rc in the afternoon, followed by the feast that evening, which goes on until after dark. I think the black ball(s is/are up for grabs for either tribe. Each tribe is, say, given 3 black balls and either tribe will be allowed to catch the black ball(s). This might explain the scene with Ted/Robb appearing to both be going for one ball (at least that's what it looks like to me since you don't see two balls in the caps). Also, as in NBA all-star 3 point shoot outs, the "special" ball might be worth more points - maybe the sling shots are moved farther back for the black ball(s)... Just some random thoughts I thought I'd share.   Top
