Reward Challenge:Obstacle course - Start at 7 - pick a partener (Jake didn't get a partener, so he's out). First two pairs across the first part move on (it's a "build a bridge using boards" race ala S1 Ep:6 -Brian and Clay move on, Penny and Clay move on - Helen and Jan almost had it but Jan slipped and fell on her butt). Second Part: "Crawl under the wire" type military exercise. First 3 through move on. Clay, Brian and Ted move on. Third Part: Over a wall - one person has to help another over. They both help Clay over and then Clay pulls Brian up. Ted's out. Final Part: Balance Beam - if you fall off, you go back to the beginning. Brian wins reward! Brian brings Clay with him - looks like Ted will be the one slightly pissed, but why? He really shouldn't be - Clay and Brian worked together up until the end! I smell overblown promos. -----------------------------------

Yeah it does make sense for Brian to take Clay since Clay choose him to help over the wall, but it may have been a bit better for him to choose someone neutral. Also the betrayal could be Clay not helping Ted over the wall instead of Brian, this could go either way.Cin

Definitely one of the most interesting Tribal Councils I have ever seen.
Jake got Penny in the end, and protected himself by voting for Jan.
Clay seems to be either out of the loop or working on his own by voting for Jake. I think this spells trouble for Clay.
Also this is the first time since Australia that we got down to 7 people, and 3 people's names came up at Tribal Council (Nick, Amber, Keith)

Immediately! Looks like Penny was the target before the IC. My guess is the boys felt more threatened by Penny's relationship with their "gals". Jake was an episode long misdirection. Was it obvious to anyone else about halfway through the show that Jake was editted as SOOO gone that he wasn't going anywhere? Jake's smirk over at Ken and Erin must have been because he knew at that point that Penny voted for him. How could he not? Ken and Erin knew it, too.Double dealin' devil Penny got what she deserved in the end. Instant karma gonna get ya! The most satisfying end to a TC since the Jerry boot. As for Clay's vote at TC, I wouldn't read too much into it. Sounded like Jake just pissed him off and he wanted to make a statement and since his vote wasn't necessary to oust Penny, he threw his vote at Jake. I guess we'll see if it has any repurcussions...in TWO weeeks. Ugh!
