I know previous years we have looked at weight loss to stayed in the game longer. With this being another island location, it maybe difficult with no rations. Weight Loss spoilers: Jan Gentry returned noticeably thinner: Source: St. Petersburg Times 8/17 - How I Spent My Summer: 'Survivor' Helen Glover - (A Navy source reports that Glover lost 35 pounds while she was on the island.) Source: The Providence Journal Ted Rogers - rumored to have a very large weight loss. Erin Collins - Jeff Probst was interviewed via telephone on a local radio morning show 8/16/02 (93.3 KDKB Mesa/Phoenix, AZ). He said that Erin lost a significant amount of weight. edited to add link, hope it works.

Didn't Carl loose 20 pounds and was only there for 9 days? Did we know about that?? Maybe they will loose weight just as fast???

Yes, I can vaguely recall reading that Carl lost some weight. I've noticed, though, that large men tend to lose weight at a much faster pace than the women. Elisabeth and Tina didn't lose as much weight as Keith and Colby did when they weighed themselves at the final four stange -- somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.
If it's true that Helen Glover lost 35 pounds, then this is HUGE to me because she's a Navy swim trainer and I don't see her losing or gaining weight just because she had nothing better to do in Loser Lodge after being kicked out early. IMHO, she's going FAR if this is legit.

Jeff said that Erin lost weight? Then it must be true. More likely that she gets the boot early on. Where would she lose weight from anyway?
