momosmojo 2 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 02-19-02, 06:44 PM (EST) "Check out the table!" Look at the table/crate and where did it come from??? Was it on the island when they arrived? Also,here's a notebook or binder on top of the table, I think I heard that Richard Hatch was keeping a journal in consideration of writing a book about his experiences. I'm not sure if he had to surrender it or not but do remember an interview with a another cast member from S2 or S3 (It may have been Brandon)in any case, the person was asked if they kept a journal and the person stated they weren't allowed writing materials etc... If that's the case, what's the binder about? Slim pickings in the way of food. Just a thought ...   Top

"RE: Check out the table!" the table is interesting, at first I thought that they may have won it after a challenge, but then I also remember this photo Which shows the opposite tribe gathered around a similar "table" My subsequent thought is that both tribes are given this "table" which probably contained all of the "survivor gear" MB chooses to start the tribes out with. Whether they carried it while hiking or boating(or both)to their camps is the real conundrum.   Top

That "journal" seems somewhat produced to me, possibly it is their Survivor Manual for such things as learning about what are the edibles on the island and so on. I can?t decide whether this is part of the ?survivor gear? given to the two teams or a staged photo. Good point about the notebook/binder. I can?t remember previous survivors being given ?how to? books. It?s important or it wouldn?t be on the table. It?s not big enough to be Neleh?s scriptures and it wouldn?t be Vee?s poetry unless it was post merge or switcharoo. The bottles interest me the most. I can?t imagine making ?beer coolers? for the bottles before hunting for my food. The food on the table looks like ?slim pickings? to me too. What on earth would be the purpose of hiding the glass bottle if not for a more survivor-like photo? I?m a newbie here, so what did they do for drinking vessels in the previous episodes? I?m thinking, maybe just maybe, they have some home-made hooch made from fermented fruit and they wanted to keep it cool. Gabriel is telling John: ?See, I can still count the fingers on my hand. Let me have another swig.? Net result, John scores and we have a tribal split ? the sinners and the saints. Oh yah!   Top

Which means either someone else is there helping (that we dont see) or they were given the buff "just incase". Just something I just saw with that picture. Who else could it be? The others were given the Survival Handbook, remember in S3 the questions were from the handbook and Lindsey and Brandon were trying to read the handbook incase of a tie breaker. And after the merger the Survivors were using the pages of the manual to make cards with Kim's paint. Not sure about the bottles, but I think they are medicine bottles, like peroxide. They are given the first aid supplies and some things have to be in a bottle.   Top
