Maybe theyt sell their perosonal things (costing dearly) in order to get the money to buy the food. That could be the scene at the water. The stuff appears to be piled between Jeff and the ladies. As for 2 not being affected - suppose the two with the most weight loss do not have to give anything up. Thus there is $500 from the 5 survivors that did.
edit - further thinking could be the two that lost the least are excluded from the bidding instead. The 2 that are not included get the rice in the bags we saw.
Edit 2 - Originally I thought that the pile was belongings being traded in - but since Rodger is wearing his hat at the auction forget it. Also the clothes that some are wearing are different.
I did notice that Liz is wearing 5 different oufits during various preview shots that have been posted.
1. Being consoled by Nick - light green pants & blue/wht top
2. Crying how hungry to camera - same pants orange bandana as bra
3. on beach while guys in water - pink bikini
4. Getting note with Amber and at auction - bandana and dark shorts
5. At the fire challengs - black sports bikini
(would MB use footage from another day not in the three expected)
Also Rodger changes shorts between the in the water and auction. Making the relationship between the two events seem improbable.
Is there any pattern to what is worn for the challenges or in the morning that could help place the events in order - is it even worth while to think about?
