American Idol goes Country:http://www.sonynashville.com/Nashvillestar/pr.html I live in Nashville. My husband works on Music Row. Yet I found out about this watching the Westminster AKC Dog Show on USA network last night! This may be fun to watch: The top ten finalists selected from the regional competitions will live together in a fully-wired Nashville house, where cameras will record the friendships, squabbles, heartbreaks and intrigues that develop during the course of the live, eight-week competition. The grand prize winner of Nashville Star will receive a recording contract from Sony Music Nashville.

I have knowed about this for several months(I work in the radio industry and used to work for a country station)...I also know one of the contestants personally....Her name is Miranda Lambert...she is from East Texas....and she is a hot little 21 year old blonde with a really great voice!
