"Marcel Most Admirable Contestant"
Psychologically, Marcel inspired me the most. He took all the bantering admirably. When a group reaches a certain amount of participants, people in the group will look for a scape goat. That, hands down, was Marcel. The final 6 contestants described Marcel as they, in fact, behaved. They were very disrespectful to Marcel and used him to make them feel better about themselves. Very sad situation. Each of those attacking contestants transferred their deficiencies onto Marcel. Ilan may have won the tv competition, but in my mind, he lost everything.

Marcel was a troll from day one. His hair...wow...wrap it up when you are cooking.

I will give into the fact that the larger dude who went off on Marcel for removing the large dude's "germs" from the kitchen was waaaaaaaaay off.

But, Marcel is all about impressing himself. He foamed himself out of the competition. He's also your typical "artist"...good at getting the product delivered.. but has NO clue about the back end (running/managing/making people "under" you feel just as important as you are) of the business. Typical prima donna. He has a lot of growing up to do...as a potential head chef and just when it comes to running a kitchen. That's why he lost.

Exactly. He needs to understand that it's not all about art. It's also about the people. You need to be able to manage people in order to run a successful restaurant. He's young and has a lot to learn.
