Welcome aboard the LoserStarCruiser. Now just sit back and relax with the finest bunch of losers this side of the galaxy.
Here's a roofie to help set the mood.
Anyhoos...regarding the scoring this week. I am in somewhat of a quandry. I really hate being attacked by MB and this week was soooo darned close to actually making it I believe I should perhaps alter the rulings a bit. Or at least broaden the allowable answers.
For instance, while it wasn't actually treemail, two survivors did indeed read a message aloud. I didn't count it this week. But if further, non-kidnappee and immunity clue, messages get read aloud I probably will accept them. Also, the PosterChild question. Although no one has said "loser" yet, I have heard "lost", "lose" and "losing". I haven't counted it for this weeks question, but in further weeks, these slight alterations will indeed count.
ComCam Results:

With 2 seperate MB Attacks it made for a relatively mild week for ComCam answers.
It should be noted that of the three valid comcam questions, Wallflower was the only one to answer them all correctly. Good going, babushka!
Other than her entry, there were some negatives but they were more than made up for by having the mini-DAW Race and by visiting Decapod10.
Speaking of Decapod10...can I please get a round of applause for Zoidberg!

Here's the full chit count...
With a ginormous chit haul, D'Abby(66) snags the top score for the week, which also allows for her to more than double her chitpile and climb 10 spots landing herself in 4th place overall. Also with a boatload of chits this week was bymoon(64), who manages to also climb up the chit pile. Just one spot up, but it's 1st place overall and I'm sure he's happy about that.
In an alternate universe...
bystander and Lookeeloo manage to get themselves lost or something as neither showed up to make an entry this week. Same can't be said for our dear cellar dweller sagey. Who has managed to get a serious lock on the bottom-most spo all through his own effort. YeeHaw!

Well, I heard the complaints about going to a beach planet and never actually getting to the beach, so...
This week, I'm making a special spaceport of call at a magical little place. One which promises to deliver quite the fantasy adventure.
A representative from the planet Vegas2 will be along shortly to explain how it is you should go about making your wildest dreams come to life.

Rules:
A. Deadlines:
1. Weekly ComCam entries deadline:
a. Thursdays at 8:00pm boardtime. With an 8:00pm boardtime call for JuryDuty on a sunday sometime in Dec.
2. Bonus entries deadline:

3. Game deadline:
a. No game deadline. Open always. Just step into the stargate.
The first 2 weeks will be completely consequence free. After that, you can still join, but everyone will be subject to the full rules, including penalties and windfalls.
B. Objective:
1. Three objectives:
a. Highest ending score. (Be the 'loser' with the largest pile of chits at the end and win it all!)
b. Lowest ending score. (Be the biggest loser and somehow owe more chits then you started with. I'll be making a big deal out of it. I always do.)
c. Loser Superlatives. (Craziest Hairdo? Funniest Walk? Biggest Raygun? You name it...it might be an award you can get at the end, regardless of how you did with your chits. Being outrageous, debacherous and nefarious, has it's benefits.)
C. Points/Chits:
1. For the purposes of theme, points will be known as chits.
2. For the most part, they're hard to come by, but will be clearly defined in each weeks entry thread. Usually by being placed within parentheses; ().
3. Points/Chits can be won AND lost in this game. Read directions thouroughly and ask questions if necessary.
D. The "ComCam" entry. Previously known as the HutCam entry.
1. Every week, a comcam entry must be made. If not, it will invalidate all of your weekly points. Including any points you may have made in a bonus. This is going to be a biggie, I just know it, but watch out and try to remember to make your comcam entries. Every week.
2. The harshness of the above rule is hopefully get everyone showing up every week. (and since I'm on the subject...)
E. Missed or late entries.
1. No one likes an OBE. Well, aside from a small sect of fetishists in SF. Let's try to keep them to a minimum.
2. OBE: Out of Body Experience (read as: Missed ComCam entry)
3. What this really means is that if you miss an entry for the week. You will go in degenerative stasis. Your score will slowly creep down every week you stay OBE until finally there will be no record of your chits within the LL travellouges.
4. HOWEVER: I will always allow for a ComCam entry by proxy. Proxy, or any other willing fellow space travelling loser whose available. Just ask, we have some nice peeps.
F. All the little but important stuff.
1. EPMB v. TRIBE
a. The battle for reality game supremacy between Mark "the saboteur" Burnett and Tribe "the nefarious" Phyl will continue.
b. MB attacks will happen, but for the purposes of the game, ANY questions that go unanswered will be voided.
2. Guest Stars
a. This seasons LL will be taking a few side-trips to visit unknown worlds. Please be respectful of other cultures.
b. Which also means that when visiting, we are under the temporary rulership of an "alien" species. Please adhere to their specific rules and customs.
c. The onship computer, CAL9000, will also have a small role in this venture, when and where are up to his disgression.
G. RESERVED SPACE:This space reserved for the inevitible rule change/addition/ammendment.

Welcome to Vegas 2 and the Olympus Resort!!!
We hope your journey here has been fun. The Olympus Resort is universally famous for making fantasies come true. It is here where you -- a well known loser – will get a break from your mundane life and have a chance to experience a once in a lifetime fantasy.
All good fantasies require you to peal off your natural body and become someone else. So follow me to the changing area and assumed the identity of one of our famous characters. Remember once you have changed- it would be wise to make choices as that character!
So - - - - who will you be during your stay? (Please pick 1 character)
Lt. Eve Dallas – NYC Homicide Detective who is tough, hard nosed, takes no crap from anyone, suspects everyone, trusts few, smart, beautiful, and married to Rourke
Rourke – Married to Dallas, murky criminal past who gave it all up for Eve. Wealthiest man alive, he is drop dead gorgeous, and an electronics expert.
Somerset – Rourke’s butler and father figure. Cantankerous, loyal, proper and all about etiquette
Peabody – Dallas’ protégé and partner. Outwardly she is extremely proper but inwardly a bit of a party animal.
Mavis Freestone – Dallas’ best friend and a famous rock star. Wild and crazy thru and thru!

Now that you know who you want to be this week – Its time to plan your itinerary! For each day – pick one activity to do - each activity has pre-assigned chit values with a maximum of 5 chits for each day - - choose wisely!
Monday:
A) Go to the spa for a massage
B) Go directly to my room and recover from the jetlag
C) Relax by the Pool or
D) Work out at the gym
Tuesday:
A) Check out the art gallery
B) Go fishing
C) Play Black Jack
D) Eat endlessly at the buffet!
Wednesday:
A) Do nothing all day
B) See a show
C) Go to the nightclub
D) Read a book
Thursday:
A) Play Blackjack
B) Play Poker
C) Play Roulette
D) Play the Slots
On Friday – you will have dinner with one of the survivors - - pick one of the current survivors remaining in the game to have dinner with you. A survivor can only be picked one time until all survivors have been chosen - - then they can be picked a 2nd time etc etc.
Now Vegas 2 has the largest casino in the galaxy so I hope you’re ready to gamble.
After dinner – you will take your survivor to the casino and place a blind bet. You only have three bets you can make… ALL MY CHITS, HALF MY CHITS, or NONE OF MY CHITS. You will only know the results of this bet when I award the chits next week!
