No I just like to have an outlet to vent on BB and there is none here.I've all but given up on ss now that they've cut the I Heart Survivor Board (WTF is up with that?!) and arrogantly deleted all the messages on it. They're nuts. Instead of trying to make a profitable board they want to go back to having a private treehouse.

>As a matter of fact, I don't know what happened, however I do suspect that it had to do with my trying to stop them from throwing Heat off the Island. Actually, I tried to get an alliance going to get enough votes to drop IH down to 4th place so he wouldn't get canned. As if that weren't bad enough on my part, then I did what used to be called a "traffic analysis" to see what was up with the vote against IH. It was so totally obvious that the vote against him was rigged, that I spoke out about it. The response to my "gotcha" was that I "had too much time on my hands" looking at the amateurish way that they stacked the vote.
I kinda thought that my time was mine to waste as I see fit.
Anyway, the next day, I try to log in, and I find my account is "de-activated". There's supposed to be some fine line between deactivated and cancelled. I guess the reactivation is directly proportional to the amount of ass-kissing I am supposed to do, to "atone" for my "mistakes". Must be sort of like the "political re-education camp" that one of my Vietnamese friends had to go through before he finally left the country.
Thanks, but no thanks. Hell, I once got kicked out of a country that was slightly more Democratic that the grupenfueher SS board. Mikey714 OVER 50

I don't think so, but maybe something I said was misinterpreted. In my extended family we have had two lesbians. One committed suicide over thirty years ago, since she couldn't handle the family pressures that were put on her. for that reason alone, I don't think I would knowingly hurt someone for their orientation. I might make an insensitive statement, but if I do, it isn't meant to be mean spirited. I believe that I did refer to Island Heat one time as "my favorite faggot", but I did not mean that to be anything more than being said in jest. There was not one bit of malicious intent to that statement, and if he took offense to it I would apologize. Part of the problem with posting on a message board is that you can't show the nuance of something you type, as compared to when you talking face to face, and can get the non verbal visual clues. Sorry. Now, as to Dicque. I dislike him in any flavor he comes in.
Gay,straight, or bi, I dislike the guy. And that has nothing to do with whatever gender or species he beds down. I just don't like his actions, even if he is playing the game properly. And if he were to be reprogrammed by Anita Bryant I still wouldn't like him. In the same manner, I do kind of like Island Heat. Gay or straight, I like his sense of humor, and think he got a raw deal for his summaries. Trust me, it isn't a "gay thing". And my sig line is meant to be humorous. I am old, (50+), I am straight,
and I am a white guy. Please don't think that means anything more than what I am, not who I like or dislike.
