According to their logic, Chinese food in China wouldn't be "foreign," since its the local staple. Therefore, it would simply be food. Stupid, yes. But considering how Rebecca wolfed down the Hungarian soup, I don't think she would have an aversion to sampling the local cuisine.

maybe not this leg, but who knows??? Begging for money in China is really hard, especially if you don't speak the language. I think the best bet is to ask for money from k/j or a/h. Doubt f/k will give them anything.

It's really hard to say from the previews, especially with this one, it's so short. Hopefully the AOL previews will give us a better clue. You have to take the previews with a grain of salt, we all thought Kris and Jon was dead last for this episode, but they were close, but not last, so it's hard to say.

At the end of the preview for next week, as Phil says "and one of these four teams collects $1,000,000 as the winners of the Amazing Race", the four teams are shown (in the order KJ, FK, AR, HA). The background for KJ, AR, and HA (snowy mountains) is different than that shown for FK. Is this an indication that Freddy and Kendra come in fourth (and don't make it to the snowy mountain site)?

I noticed tonight that K/J are the 1st team listed, then a bunch of eliminated teams, then the models right after each other, more eliminated teams, and A/R last. Any thoughts on the significance? Does anyone remember the order of teams in prior seasons?

LAST EDITED ON 02-01-05 AT 11:57 PM (EST)DW and I were doing our taxes and blew right by 9 pm....anyone got a tape so she can watch how they show her home town? DW says it is not illegal to beg (the police might give you a hard time thought and most chinese won't give them money because they are rich americans). But the reason for all the problems with taxi's is that you have to stand in the right place to get one in certain streets. If a taxi stops to pick up a customer in the middle of the street the police will give the taxi driver a ticket. 100 meters in front or behind the bus stop areas are where you stand to get a taxi (there are signs but since they are in Chinese the teams could not read them). She also said to look at the tape and see if the green light on the dash just to the right of the driver is on. If it is then the taxi is empty and will pick up customers. Edit: If there is no one in the taxi and the light is not on then they are on a run to pick someone up. This does happen alot during the rush hour.
