Eat, have some fun and then come up with a new tribe name. Now, unbeknowst to the tribemates, as they are busying themselves with eating, funning and naming the newly merged tribe, a nefarious (and potent) little scorpion is patrolling the new camp and is getting ready to exact a certain revenge. Yes, what I'm getting at is this simple fact, the WhatIf is going to have it's own medi-vac. The scorpion has volunteered to do the dirty work, it's just up to your vote as to which survivor will be stung. Please see that all "stings" be done in Private. And since scorpion poison is notoriously fast-acting, in exactly 24 hours I will set the gurney in motion and start the next IC with all those that remain.

The nefarious scorpion had plenty of time and a whole lot of animosity. She was taking advantage of the merge feast, skittering around the table taking swipes at nearly everyone. But just as the stinger was about to hit skin, the survivor would get up or move. She almost nabbed Taj, but Taj got up to sit in the hammock. She came very close to hitting Brendan but he just walked by too fast. She just about got Tyson but his loincloth fell off and caused a distraction. Erinn went for a swim, Spencer went to retrieve treemail, Stephen to the latrine. All that remained were JT and Joe and wouldn't you know it but the odds of getting medi-vac'd twice in a row is...
less than getting hit for the first time.
I'm so sorry JT but the poison is coursing through your blood and you could experience extensive internal bleeding if an anti-venom isn't administered at once. This will require you to leave the game, but better alive than dead and buried. Oh no, did you take your idol with you?! Well I guess we'll have to put another back out on Exile.Now let us get to the IC, shall we?

JP has given them all $6 and says that the survivor left with money after this challenge will be immune at tribal council, for the rest of you it could be the jury box. Your job?

Wow. That was a hard fought win for Brendan. Congrats, big guy, you can keep the $2 AND you get immunity from the 6th tribal council.But before we get into the voting, I'd like to find out what everyone decided on for a new tribe name. Erinn: Well, tribe, the tribe was not in total agreement and therefore have three seperate names at the moment.
tribe: Well, that won't do. What are the three choices?
Erinn: Well, I think "Bob" would be a great name for the tribe. So do Sydney and Joe.
Whereas, Tyson, along with Jerry and Brendan, thinks it should be "Jalbira". Meanwhile, Taj, Stephen and Spencer came up with "Timapao".
tribe: Umm, I could put it up to another vote, but I'm fearful it would come up as another tie, in which case I'd pull out the purple rock and have this decided unfairly.
But since I'd rather take full ownership of this quandry, I am deciding that "Bobtribe" will be the name of your new tribe.
Settled. There are no hidden immunities and Brendan is keeping (via a dice roll) his individual immunity, so we might as well get straight to the voting now.

And, unlike those who took that walk of shame before you, you will NOT be allowed to go on vacation to exotic places for the remainder of the filming.
You will, however, become the first member of our jury.
Soon the power will shift from this side of the fire to .... awww nevermind. Jury really has no power after this. Okay, now that he's gone let's get to the Reward Challenge, shall we? The newly minted Bobtribe arrives for the challenge.
Brendan leads and Tyson brings up the rear. With Erinn, Sydney, Joe, Spencer, Stephen and Taj mixed in between the two. As JP explains... Up for grabs, for three tribemembers, is a zip-line and lunch adventure.
For two other tribemates it's exile island and for the remaining 3 tribemates it's camp and nothing.
There are two twists added to this mix of events, that will be explained, somewhat, below. This challenge will take place in a series of 5 posts, from 5 different posters. Post 1. The first poster will decide on 2 survivors to send to EXILE Island. Post 2. The second poster will decide on 3 survivors to win the REWARD and through deduction, the remaining 3 survivors who go BACK TO CAMP empty handed. Post 3. The third poster will decide on 1 EXILEE from Post 1 to give the HIDDEN immunity to. Post 4. The fourth poster will decide on 1 REWARD WINNER from Post 2 to give an ADVANTAGE to in the next Immunity Challenge.(The advantage will be explained with the Immunity Challenge.) Post 5. The fifth poster will decide on 1 survivor to remove from the next Immunity Challenge, before it even begins. (They're still on the tribe and in the game, they just CAN'T win immunity this time around.) Once all 5 posts have been made I will move on to the Immunity Challenge.

Brendan, Erinn and Sydney enjoy some much needed rejuvenation, while Stephen, Spencer and Tyson kick it back at camp.
While on their reward trip, Erinn receives a note informing her that she's been given an advatage for the next Immunity. So, to the Immunity Challenge we go.
Much like last time, each survivor starts out with a sum of money. (Yet, according to Erinn's reward twist, she is to take Brendan's money, leaving him with nothing and no chance at immunity this challenge.)
The survivor left with money after this challenge will be immune at tribal council, for the rest of them it could be jury duty.

Got super full on burgers and now must participate in the next individual immunity challenge.Carrying an average of 9 extra pounds each in burger-weight, the survivors will have to purge to win this immunity.
Should be easy though as you will be the one's to decide how it all will turn out. In the three denominations of -1, +2 and -3, adjust the burger-weight of 3 different survivors.

The 7th poster will choose 1 Reward winner (from posts 1 and 4) to win an advantage for the next Immunity Challenge. The HI will come into effect when the "finder" has the majority of votes at Tribal Council and will be good for 1 get out of torch-snuffing.
When in effect, the survivor with the next highest vote count will be snuffed and forced out of WhatIf?. I wish SEG would adopt Tribe's F3 rule for the HII. I think it would make Survivor's endgame far more interesting.

But, knowing that Tribe is certain to know about it (and have a dastardly counter-move already brewing) I think we'd do it at our own peril. However, in view of the fact that you have astutely provisioned a fine whiskey - and that I'm a firm believer in the 'bravery is born in a bottle' theory - lead on! And speaking of the whiskey ... You know that thread-infecting virus that you missed by a minute the other day? Well, it isn't gone. 'Cause after I spent an hour or so trying to figure out (based on the Challenge results) how everyone else was going to vote, I submitted what I thought was a stroke-of-genius ballot. Then, I had to submit a by-now-obligatory correction. And I only had to count to two and read a very short list ... correctly! So, if we ever have to multiply and divide, we're going to need at least three bottles, Michel. One for me, one for Emydi, and one for everybody else ...

Ah, well ...Sometimes I have the awful feeling that (1) Jeff Probst and Mark Burnett take themselves (and the show) way too seriously and (2) that as a result, a whole lot of Survivor's lighter moments are edited out. Deja vu, eh? It's true...
I dreamt that I had handed out a specialized item meant solely for re-igniting torches.
Wouldn't you know it it wasn't a dream, I really did hand one out... to Georjanna.
Due to her excellent sleuthing skills she was offered the opportunity to add some heat and flame to a once lifeless symbol of survivordom, the torch. So, Georjanna? Did you decide on whom you have chosen to ressurrect, to bring back into the game?
Georjanna nods, almost imperceptibly.
She then takes out her specialized "tool", a double-barrelled blowlamp...
She peruses the jury members, making sure to run over in her head how valuable they may be. She then scans the pictures of the Ponderosa crew, wondering if any of them deserve to have their torch re-lit. She takes a deep breath, grabs one of the unlit-torches and walks to a safe distance for the relighting. She studies the intense flame upon the charred surface of the torch, sparking it back to life. She then wanders over to a "curtain" of jungle leaves, pulls them back and reveals her choice in person... 
*gasp* Toothless, grinning and all southern charming, JT rejoins the tribe, making the F4 an F5 once again. (And, as if it weren't bad enough, he brings with him his hidden immunity.) Just in time for the RC. The F5 RC. JT is joined by Erinn ~ Taj ~ Brendan and back from inawhile isle, Sydney.
They gather around a large circular table. On the table are bungiecords and blindfolds, 2 of each. JT and Erinn both receive a bungiecord. Taj and Brendan both receive a blindfold. Sydney is the left over survivor. Look below for the continuation of this reward challenge.

To tell you the truth, the last time that Stephen played this Game, he lost me when he stupidly offered up Taj to JT on a silver platter. That it was a rotten thing to do aside, it was strategically suicidal. Remember when Earl said that, at the moment Dre broke his word to Yau Man, he knew that he'd just been handed $1,000.000? PC Note: I would like to make it perfectly clear that I did not say that Stephen was stupid. And I really thought hard about bringing back Candace. After some preliminary whining, she turned out to be a hard worker and a kick-butt physical competitor in that other Game. In fact, her only sin then was her in-his-face attitude toward Coach's arrogant nonsense. I don't know what her problem was in this one. But, I liked her. Both times. |
However, in the end, I thought that I'd most like to see if JT can ride that southern charm all the way to another $1,000,000: this is an ornerier tribe than the last one. That's why I said earlier that I was really glad to know that he was virtually recovered from that nefarious scorpion's sting ... Whatever happens, it's great to be rid of those tanks! Lugging those things around wasn't easy, you know. 
I'd also like to make it perfectly clear
that guilt had nothing to do with it ...

Brendan*HI ~ Erinn ~ JT*HI ~ Sydney ~ Taj The following Reward challenge will offer the 2 winning survivors a trip in a helicopter to see some local culture, eat some local delicasies and drink some local hallucinogens.
For the losers, 2 of them will go back to camp.
1 of them will go to Inawhile Island.
Deja vu, eh? Using these three denominations (+5) (-6) (+8) add or subtract from the survivors.
The first to get to 50 will go on reward.
The second to get to 50 will also go on reward.
The third and fourth to get to 50 will go back to camp.
The remaining survivor will go to Inawhile Island. It is here they will stay through the next cycle of IC and TC. Miraculously making it to F4. The real F4, the last F4.
Oh and before it gets too late...when down to 2 survivors simply switch to the (+5) and (+8) denominations only. You may post multiple times in this challenge, just make sure that 3 messages fall between your last one and your current one. Now, due to the fact that JT and Erinn each received a bungiecord, they will be afforded a bigger number to start with. While Taj and Brendan each received a blindfold and will be starting at the smallest number. With Sydney as the left over survivor, she'll start with the biggest number... Here they are...
