katem 3315 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 10-10-02, 01:18 AM (EST) "The new Lenny !!!!!" Is Michael becoming the new version of Lenny for TAR3? This guy is worthless, seems like he can't do anything. They are so high up due to luck and maybe a little bit of Kathy, and let's face it, she is no Karyn. I can't seem to get into this team at all. In my best whiney a$$ Michael voice, "Ewww, I'm afraid to skydive, let's depend on this stinky flea infested animal to propel us into first place....No way I'm gonna use that big bad water craft, let's use these absolutely slow moving kayaks...Me, swim with dolphins, they might eat me!....Was that my shadow? Hey, at least I can cook!" If I have to listen to him whine and b!tch the whole race, just shoot me now! Can we just kill him off the show? Maybe then he can hang out with Jill's dead brother!   Top

She is controlling and hasnt done one of the roadblocks...even though last night Michael said that he couldnt swim. I got the idea that getting in the water was somehow "beneath" her. In Defense, There has only been one roadblock, and he volunteered to do it, probably to try and impress her. Michael might be a new Lenny, but Kathy is was to quiet to be a Karyn. I haven't heard more than 2 words out of her yet on the show, she seems to be very quiet, and he is just clueless. At least Karyn and Lenny gave us entertainment, this team just gives us BOREDOM!   Top

LAST EDITED ON 10-14-02 AT 04:19 PM (EST) Awww... you guys... I thought Michael and Kathy are great! And doing the slower tasks have been working out well for them so far. They could be this season's Danny and Oswald who always chose the slower routes but managed to make it far anyways. Well, Michael might be a coward but at least he was trying and Kathy has been real supportive of him so I don't think we are gonna get the luxury of Karyn shouting LLLEEEENNNNNNNYYYY from Kathy (yes, I'm the sick b@$+@rd who enjoys Karyn's shouting). I think we're gonna get plenty of whining from Flo though-- strike 1 during skydiving; strike 2 during sarong shopping (on CBS website); I'm waiting for strike 3 to happen which would probably be the title of episode 3's "You Always Just Forget About Me". Actually I thought the kayaks were supposed to be the quicker choice. Isn't that how it usually is in TAR? The choice that requires the most effort (in this case manually rowing the kayaks) is usually faster than the easier route. (the motorized thing) I really don't see why you would be afraid of the water craft, it isn't all that terrifying. And if you don't know how to drive, it can slow you down. (Like Teri/Ian and Tramel/Talicia showed) You can't really fault him for skydiving considering that 4 teams didn't do it, and the last heat of teams only did it because they were way behind. So far, this team seems to be organized and communicating well. It would have been so easy for Kathy to berate her partner during the swimming debacle, but she was totally supportive. Simply put, she rocks.   Top

OK, his cowardice doesn't do a lot for me, but honestly - he's kind of a relief. He's laid back and doesn't seem to get mad - after TAR1's Frank, TAR2's Wil and TAR3's Ian, Andre and Damon (not to mention all the guys I've ever dated or married), it's kind of nice to see a guy who doesn't scream obscenities all the time or explode into histrionics every time something doesn't go his way.. I dig the slow and steady dude - if he wasn't such a wimp, he'd be perfect! I kind of dug crying Lenny too. I"m moving into my Alan Alda phase.   Top

But I'm no longer attracted to cross dressers - I pay far too much money for my shoes to have some ape footed man stretch them out. And most dudes just do not understand how important it is to hand wash a delicate cashmere twin set so I simply cannot allow my boyfriends to raid my closet any more.
