Its much more What We Don't Know this week. All of the video promos have been emphasizing the "ceremony" at the Slave Memorial on the island outside Dakar. No idea whether a task is involved although Gus does arrive in one room carrying a long-stemmed Red Rose. He probably is the one overcome with emotion during this event. No idea whether anyother task is scheduled before they have to make their way via ferry and cab to the airport. One hint is about one team member samples the handled goods during a detour. If this involves food on the street, then it certainly happens in Dakar as food sold on the streets of Berlin is plentiful and healthy to eat. But then again it may be the handling of some other goods during a detour in Germany.Back to Dakar. The next stop is Berlin and flights from Dakar connecting to Berlin are few and all leaving late at night (11:00PM) These flights connect through Paris (we have had the Eifel Tour tease in the openings) to Berlin arriving in mid-morning. Now they may be leaving earlier for Paris; do something there and then continue on to Berlin. This would use up the time we seem to have a large empty hole for.
Don and Mary Jane remember had to start off begging for money just to catch the ferry off the island, but they must have been successful because in the "fight scene" between the Actors and the Wrestlers, Don in his red Stanford cap is in the background. The fight seems to between Bolo and Lori with the actors who may be working with Kris and Jon again to get tickets before the others. But it is a typical TAR6 chock point once again as it looks like all the teams are on the same flight to Berlin.
There is only one activity previewed in Berlin: the soap box derby which has been identified as probably being at the Weddinger Seifenkristenrennen. It is not clear whether this is a detour or a Roadblock. And it is not clear whether teams just have to race down the track to the finish line, or whether racing another team is part of the task. We see both single racers going down the hill and in once case a green racer and black (dark blue) racer both on the course at the same time.
The teams also are shown using the UBahn (which in this case is above ground) going somewhere. And the UBahn goes just about everywhere and is the best way to get around the city of Berlin and out to the suburbs. We see Bolo and Lori running out of the car doors, and we see Jonathan and Victoria on the street below the station also running somewhere. A quick shot of the last remaining section of the Berlin Wall is also shown.
During the promos we have seen Gus and Hera; Don and Mary Jane;
Bolo and Lori; Hayden and Aaron; Kris and Jon; Jonathan and Victoria. Missing are Adam and Rebecca and Freddy and Kendra. We should probably expect to have a Fast Forward in this episode so it may be that one of these two have taken the Fast Forward and the other is the team which is eliminated. Your pick!
As I have said not much information has been given out for this episode (most of CBS promo time has gone to Survivor Finale this week)
