"New GE Commercial"
Has anyone seen the new GE (parent company of NBC) commercial in which a Ph.D. (professor of nanotechnology) -- an "average Joe" -- falls in love with a Brazilian supermodel, gets married, has children, and lives happily ever after with them in a house with GE appliances? It seems that GE thinks it has a winner with "Average Joe" and is willing to adopt it as a corporate image.

Personally, I think the concept makes a better commercial than a "reality show."

You need to watch more TV. LOL. That commercial has been running for a few months. It must not be a very effective commercial, I can't even remember what the product is.

I have only recently noticed that one, too. The guy looks sort of like Bill Gates.

Love that commercial. They just want to emphasize the marriage of brains and beauty, and just as soon as they say that, they could almost by implying that the geeky guy is ugly and the beauty queen is stupid. You can't win these days. Everything is so subjective, and everybody is like a loaded smoking verbage gun.
