At least until the West Coast is done laughing, crying, and screaming.... which might be sometime around 2am Eastern or so... Also... *snicker* The Players Championship went to Sudden Death Playoff... which possibly pushes back NBC's schedule tonight...   Top

"RE: Final Redemption Island Duel" I saw it as well (even if I didn't show it on the vote thread) but unlike Blind Freddy, I don't think she's going into the final 3. People mentioned the shot of Matt amongst the rocks as "evidence" that he comes back, but Coach got the same treatment and he didn't make the final 3. By contrast, I felt that Andrea was featured in the whole game more than either Nat or Ashley for a reason and we also got an insight on her thinking of the game when she talked to Matt upon arriving at RI.   Top

Not surprising that you would nail it though! I was surprised, but in retrospect maybe it wasn't so surprising as you note. Her edit definitely had more substance to it, that's for sure. Matt was indeed the journey player, but his journey was about perservering and surviving RI. I am glad he found peace. I was disappointed however in his jury comments as well. "Immunity Challenge" Race across a balance beam, collecting a series of numbered bags that have a grand total of 100 numbered tiles that have to be placed IN ORDER... If you fall off the beam at any point you have to back to the beginning of the beam... Grab one bag at a time off of the beam, then put down the 10 numbered tiles... then 20 in the 2nd bag... Rob's in the lead after grabbing the 2nd bag... Ashley in hot pursuit... Bag 3 has... 30 tiles... last bag has 40 tiles... Phillip and Natalie are falling behind as Ashley has taken the lead, Andrea in 2nd now... Rob has a strategy of stacking the tiles to try to catch up... will it work? ASHLEY WINS IMMUNITY AND IS SAFE TO THE F4!!! Heck of a time for an Immunity Run...   Top

It's ok taht I have a relationship with a dead person from 1874...he needs to make it clear to the jury that he had a plan and that he will get the last laugh.... Breakfast is served.... Nat has the confessional, I am 19 and I stand for my generation, there has been tears, sadness and doubt , it's about overcoming fears and go and do anything that I was ever afraid to do, I feel like I do have a shot! They are relaxing, Rob has confessional, it's overwhelming, winning this game has always alluded me, he felt bad last time and said he was sorry, it's the biggest regret that he ever had...I wish I had stood up and said kiss my #####, I'm hoping tonight that I won't screw it up. He says he's coaching Nat this way so she will act this way tonight, ha! P:hil was never proud to wear plum colored underwear, I am not about this underwear, he bids adeui to his underwear and throws them into the fire...his great grandfather, like all good things, they must come to an end, as the underwear burns up in the fire... Congrats to all three, you did what 15 others couldn't do, you made it to the end...the jury is now in control...each get a chance to make an opening statement, then jury will ask questions, then vote Nat is up...Um...I made it 39 days, play the best game I could, my strentghth was my social skills, luckily Rob and I had an alliance to the end, I stuck with him, I was loyal, I would be the youngest Survivor winner if you decide to vote for me... Phillip: My strategy was turned upside down when BRob got off that helicopter. I was going to vote him out at the first TC, and I went to him and apologized and if it wasn't for him , I wouldn't be here. I invented stealth, we decimated the other tribe. I implemented the stealth and was loyal to Boston Rob....wow, what a disappointment Rob...if I was at Zap it could have been different...strategically I put toghether the six, around camp I was a hard worker, what really matters is what you think, it switches, the power from us to you...Ithought alot about this on and off for 10 years, it's almost a third of my life, it's a game that I love, it doesn't define me, it's about my wife and my child so they can have a better future, I hope I played the game the best in your eyes and I hope you give it to me.... very disappointing speeches, imo....come on , this is for a million!!!!   Top

Anyhoo, Sandy spent the whole time searching for the HII clue instead of getting things started in camp, and Carolina didn't like that. So these two were the potential boot targets right off the bat. Bossy lost out to Cuckoo. I'd like to see how Bossy gets along with a persuasive lawyer.   Top

For example this season: Rooster playing his HII at the merge for Mike... Now it turns out that the play wasn't needed that week, but it was more a matter of timing and execution of the play than the validity of the idea...   Top

If she was serious about taking out Rob along with the other degrees, she would have made the move at F6 to weed out the HII. Also, I'm not sure if a HII is valid for the entire tribal council or only on the first vote - what if Ashley forced a tie vote to get rid of the HII then on the revote, they can decide whether to go ahead with Andrea or Rob/Phillip? I.e., 2 votes Phillip and 1 vote for Natalie knowing that Rob/Phillip would be voting Andrea, then on the revote, 3-2 for somebody.   Top
