A few good tidbits this week:VILLAINS TRIBE
- Russell must be searching for the HII again, because Courtney says in a confessional that she forgets he's even on their tribe because he seems to "live in the woods" and is always sneaking around with a bag of crabs.
- Parv is suspicious that Tyson/Courtney/Rob/Sandra have a 4 person alliance. (Side note: Sandra had a post on her Facebook account about a week ago that she had texted Rob, Courtney and Tyson saying "How are my buffoons doing today?"..which seemed to tip off that alliance -- see the SOTS Ep. 3 thread for more.)
- Russell tells Jerri that Parv doesn't realize "she's cuddling with the devil." Jerri plays to Russell's ego and tells him that he'd go down in history if he blindsided Parv.
- Parv calls Russell "her little boyfriend" and complains that he won't stop following her around and makes it so obvious that now others are picking up on their alliance.
- Jerri says that Parv is playing everyone but "doesn't bother playing me" because she knows better.
- Randy has a lot of funny lines in his post-game comments and seems to be realistic that he was a "dead man walking from Day 1." He has a great line that Parv/the beach girls are leading Russell/the men around "by their boob jobs and butts" and that he can't compete with that.
- Russell says that he's feeling the physical effect of doing back to back seasons. He says he's wrestled all his life and should have easily beaten Tom, but he's just so weak. He's worried because he feels on Day 7 like he did on Day 39 in the last season, so he's wondering if he can take the physical and emotional stress this time around.
- Boston Rob says some of the people on his tribe were looking forward to go to TC, so they could get rid of people they don't like and start to see where alliances lie...he says he used to be that way, but now he's older and sees that it's better to stay away from TC if possible. (Foreshadowing??)
- Coach's edit is definitely going back to comic relief. He says it's awesome how Boston Rob and the rest of the tribe appreciate the Dragonslayer's stories and how he even gets "a smattering of applause." He says he has so much to offer his tribe. Very delusional, but clearly Boston Rob is playing him. To Coach's credit, he admits in a long confessional all his mistakes/criticisms last season (weak link in challenges, ego, misogynist, etc.) and says he's trying hard to redeem himself this time around.
- From the voting comments, Jerri and Coach wanted to vote Parv but couldn't get the numbers so went along with the group. It appears this pair could end up being a "swing" alliance. You have Parv/Russell/Danielle, and then you have Sandra/Rob/Courtney/Tyson. Courtney and Sandra seem to get along with the beach girls too.
- Interesting that Danielle is pretty invisible in the clips.
HEROES
- Cirie's luxury item is a collage of family photos. She cries and says they give her inspiration.
- James tries to justify his behavior in the mud challenge and says he didn't mean to throw the bag at Randy -- it was an accident. He says the team needed that win and it helped them to bond.
- Rupert complains he's the only one bringing food to the tribe. It's Day 7 and the game is "starting to wear on me."
- Courtney has a funny confessional about the Heroes guys. She says they're all hard working and noble, then lists their professions (firefighter, gravedigger, cattle rancher, etc.) But she says they all have egos the size of Texas and think they're stars and that's why they can't work well together.
