With that said, tonight's a special time down at LousyShowVille. Y'see, for the first time in a while, we don't know who's going home tonight. No mega-spoilers. No exact list of bootees. Not even a hint of universal Internet agreement. Some challenges take place, one tribe loses the second event, and one DAW goes to Sequesterville -- with the exact identity of that last a complete mystery. *sigh* Now, if only we could figure out a way to care...   Top

Cirie has told no one anything about what she found there. Favs staying consistent by choosing Kathleen again -- sound strategy: keep protecting the weak. Joel mostly used his strength against the smaller players: he and James only clashed once, which left James free to control a lot of the field. This is the first time we've seen Alexis showing off her triathlete toughness, and we may be seeing more of it. The fans now know they can't afford to lose her.   Top

She's tough. She absolutely crushed Eliza, totally laying her out by running right over her on the way to the end zone, and she also took on a couple of guys without backing down one bit. Before the challenge, while reading treemail and realizing there was going to be a physical challenge, she was practically gleeful at the prospect of knocking a few heads around.   Top

She was practically all over the place in Vanuatu, dominating the story line and exerting a lot of control over the game. This time around? We haven't heard a peep from her, what her thoughts on the game are, etc. Either they're saving her for a late-game edit or it's the "if you can't say something good about someone, don't say anything" edit after her somewhat villainous edit in Vanuatu.   Top

She's afraid that if the Fans win a RC they'd elect to send YM, especially Kathy might to return some of the favor of the "save the weak" stuff that's been going on....... Ozzy is refusing to vote for Yau, and Ozzy's trying to convince Jonathon that voting for Parv might be a mistake and try to swing the votes toward either Eliza or Yau..... The pickaxe is hinting that Cirie might actually become Dolly and go from becoming a swing vote to served up on the platter. Jonathon is hoping that his group of 4 sticking together to vote for Parvarti will be enough because the couples foursome is split between Eliza and Yau.   Top

"RE: Survivor: Half-A.S.Sed Episode #3 East Coast Spoiler Thread" First and foremost, I will admit to being inexperienced in the actual playing of Survivor, but if anytime was a good time to cut out the middle "man" tonight would have been it. Both alliances have four people. Certain people from either alliance are having strategic discussions with one another (that means the communication is not cut off and negotiations are still an option). I also understand that both alliances were hoping to get the upperhand but if anything it was Cirie and Cirie only that had it. Yau Man's group certainly didn't want to see him go and neither did James or Ozzy..nor their chicks once it was talked out. Seems to me that they all rolled over more than a bit for just one person! If anything they should have voted her out. If anything good does come from Yau Man's departure let it be the exposure of Cirie. The woman has a way of being barely there yet pulling most of the strings....successfully. She will continue to make trouble in her tribe and will do darn well to make trouble in the lover's alliance, never mind the bull she will try to do once merge takes place. After all, compared to some of the other favs she seems harmless, especially since most fans don't seem to recognize her evil powers. I also think that Cirie and Kathleen have something worked out. The two made some progress during their time (more than her and Aimie's turn) and the fact that they sent her again makes me think that Cirie has used her brainwashing powers on her. I don't think they found the idol but I do think that they are on to enought to want to keep it protected. Kathleen wasn't just tired and not wanting to deal with it, after all she knew what the clues said and could have started where her and Cirie left off.   Top

Cirie's power will grow from this point and if she happens to get the HII she will be a major force for reaching the endgame this season. She has a good idea where the idol is and no other fav has this advantage. I think she will remain quiet and not let any other tribe member know what she knows.If this leads to the elimination of the remainder of the JAE alliance before the jury selection begins it will be a brilliant move for her to make as none of the bootees will be able to come back and bite her on the butt. It also puts a huge target on the back of Jonathan who she dislikes anyway. Tonights episode sets Cirie up with the chance to make it a long way in this game.   Top

Clearly Cirie is playing hard this go round and you have to give it to her. Last night, Eliza voted for Yau, I suppose in order to save herself, which I don't think was a bad idea. The only thing I hope comes to fruition is that alliances revealed do not succeed....we shall see. Hats off to Cirie though, she's definately in a power position...and hats off to Parv and Amanda for going along with her...   Top

She knew this was a key vote, and she knew Yau Man knew too much about how she played the game the first time, so she went for it. Bravo for turning what looked like a weakness - being outside of the alliances - into a strength. Too many times we've seen the swing vote waste the vote on settling for a lower position in an alliance, but this time she used it to her advantage. I agree that Ami was on the right track, but at this point, she's just put a target on her back by casting that vote. She may have kept herself on Penner's good side by not voting against their alliance mate, but now she's on Cirie's radar. Penner doesn't have any standing left anyway, so I see both him and Ami as vulnerable. Eliza has shown she'll listen to the majority, so they won't bother with her yet.   Top

"RE: Cirie" In my opinion, the next vote on the Favorite side can be for Cirie. She will no longer be needed by the couples as they have a 4-3 advantage over JAE. They can stuff her. I suggest she watch just how cocky she becomes. Further, in my opinion, the fifth person in the couples alliance could be top 3. If neither couple wants to split, both would be lobbying for the "5th" to be their 3rd. It doesn't matter if that person is Cirie or Eliza or Ami or Jonathon. The smart player would be focusing in on the long run instead of being so vocal about who she was or wasn't voting for. If for example, Eliza made some quiet in roads with the girls or boys of the couples maybe she could be the 5th and Cirie could be on the chopping block. I hope they can win ammunities and get to the merge at least even with the fans or all the jockying will be for nothing.   Top
