THE RULES As always, the first rule is: Put your vote IN THE SUBJECT HEADING! Just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlows Tribe: Time To Vote: S15 Finale" and replace with your vote. This time, however, you don't want to vote for the boot, you want to vote for the finishing order of the Final Four. The order of your vote should be as follows: 4th/3rd/2nd/1st (winner!). Please use the following designations when casting your vote: A for Amanda Kimmel C for Courtney Yates D for Denise Martin T for Todd Herzog So, for example, should you think Amanda will finish 4th, Courtney will finish 3rd, Denise will finish 2nd, and Todd will finish 1st (win), your vote should read: A/C/D/T Of course, the other standard rules of vote threads also apply to this vote thread. Reply ONLY to this post! This is not a discussion thread. But if you decide to change your vote then REPLY TO YOUR OWN POST! No sig pics! Have fun! But Wait, There's More! TIES! Some of these players can potentially end up tied. If there is an F3 with a Jury7 there is a potential 2nd place tie and a potential 1st place tie. If there is an F2 with a Jury8 there is a potential 1st place tie. You can vote on these ties if you think they will happen. Using the above example: If you think there will be a 2nd place tie your vote would read A/C=D/T. If you think there will be a 1st place tie your vote would read A/C/D=T. You don't have to vote on ties, you simply have that option. And There's Even More! Thanks to base commercialism invading this festive finale event, they are having a popular vote on which player to award an additional $100 grand prize. This is about selling some sort of gadget, all of the cast is eligible. You can not only officially vote on that somehow or other, none of my concern, you can vote on it here if you wish. At the F3 tribal council, Amanda is the person hinted at in the preview who makes her "friend" Todd look bad to the jury. She will call Todd out on his back stabbing and will play up her own friendliness and calmness, also pointing out her decisiveness when it was crucial (blindsiding James).   Top

Anyway, they think they'll lose to Denise, and not without reason. That makes Denise 4th in this group, instead of 3rd in PG's group -- not much of a difference in $$$. I'd be surprised if anyone votes for Courtney. So that leaves an effective 2-person final. It seems that most people think that Peih-Gee and her posse will vote for Amanda. They might. But it's hard to tell. So I'll opt for Todd. And everyone will vote James onto All-Stars, so he can dig his own grave there.   Top

I live in Utah and have to keep hoping for Todd (Utah's 2nd ever Survivor contestant). Way back in August our local TV station was airing a promo for Survivor China and they had official clips and interviews and in one of them Todd said, "This is my game. This is something that I’ve wanted for so long. And I just… I just get all smiley just thinking about it you know. I just picture myself in the final 2, knowing that that’s how far I got and at that point it’s out of my hands." Yeah, we know its a final 3; but if one of them isn't a threat or if it's a tie; then it will basically be a final 2. Plus one of the promos for the finale says that someone gets upset when a "friend" makes them look bad in front of the jury. To me that screams Todd and his "friend" Amanda are in front of the jury and Todd makes Amanda look bad and by so doing he wins some crucial votes. And here's hoping us Utahns can cast enough votes for Todd to help him win the $100,000.   Top

It's been fun to watch all the local news about it here in Utah. And I'm patting myself on the back for believing from the start the he'd go all the way. Plus I'm proud of myself for guessing that Todd would make Amanda look bad and not the other way around. But in reality it was AMANDA that made AMANDA look bad. That was so funny when Amanda got caught in front of the jury when Denise was being voted out, and then she just kept on digging a hole for herself. Maybe she's been around James too long.   Top

Amanda played him like a fiddle and the jury even better. Peih-Gee outplayed most of the players this season and for this she deserves the $100,000.   Top

Amanda did nothing but ride his coattails all of the way through in my opinion. She did have the good sense to badmouth Todd where she could and cozy up to Frosti, Eric, PG ... all of whom will help decide the winner. Yes, she got the ball rolling on the James boot, but she and Todd I'm sure discussed it and agreed to do it at their earliest opportunity. She got the opportunity. Todd on the other hand came into this game a Player. He was honest from the beginning about what he would do to win the million dollars. Amanda was smart to hook up with him from the start. I am surprised at the notion that James would win the popularity prize as he made the worst mistake in Survivor history. What an honor to have my name alongside so many GREAT ONES!I've been a lurker since the last Utah Contestant, Neleh, and having another one, Todd, finally pushed me off the computer chair and onto the boards. It's been fun actually posting, and then having the opportunity fall into my lap to do the Survivor #15 Episode #2 West Coast Update Thread was really fun and I jumped in with both feet. But this is only my 30th post, and I have so far to go to even reach KwietOne who has over 300 posts. I doubt I'll ever catch up to Michel, CattyChat, AyaK, FlowerPower and ScarlettO'Hara. There are many great ones here, but another neat thing about our community is that greatness isn't measured by number of posts. That just measures longevity and DAWness. There are some very great peeps around here who don't have high post counts, and some peeps with relatively high post counts who are annoying enough to even post with nekkid santa siggies. Stay around and spoil. Enjoy some games. Maybe even aspire to write a summary one day. But whatever you do, don't go over to the Off Topic forum.   Top
