I've been watching SO from day one. Love the show and tape it everyday. I try to apply lessons to my own life, like someone else stated. My problem, this go round, is I'm not getting the warm fuzzys with this group of women. Most anyone of us, would give anything, to be able to put our life on hold, and spend a couple months in the SO house. These women seem to be in one giant cat fight. I am so anxious for some new housemates. Make it a glorious, productive weekend!

I'm in TOTAL agreement, as are my friends & fam who also watch SO. We watch to LEARN and to be able to make positive changes in our own lives. This year has left me irritated after almost every episode. I keep watching hoping someone will untie the LCs hands or the production staff will get the message of why most of us began watching the show in the 1st place. If I wanted to watch a bunch of imballanced people duke it out & slam each other at every chance I could choose from any of the other 50+ shows listed on this site alone. I purposely DON'T watch reality shows because they are carefully orchestrated to pit extremes of personalities against one another. We have copies of every episode to date and have gone back to many to refresh & learn. My hubby & I both watch every episode together and have spent many many hours discussing applications in our own lives. And it has been helpful ... until now. Past house guests that drove us nuts & left us feeling angry were soon booted to make space for someone who DOES want to change ... AND is capable of change. Did they just select women with problems too severe this year or is it the combination? Someone PLEASE change something and put me out of my mysery or I'll have to find something else that isn't so irritating!

First, I think Editing has a lot to do with how we are seeing the relationship between the women in the house. Second, there is some caring showing through. TJ sincerely cares about the other women, but the others, such as Allison, Chritina & Lisa are so heavy into denial, they automatically resent any helpful observations she makes. Christina got her mad on at TJ because TJ told her she might give her Boyfriend going to a strip bar more thought. Immedieately, TJ knew nothing, he only went there once, and under peer pressure, blah blah blah. Has anyone noticed how cold and uncaring he sounds on the phone. And was that just a joke, or was it a jab when his friend asked "Christina who?", and wouldn't put her BF on? Jill too genuinely cares about the other women, but is shunned any time she tries to get real with Lisa. There's plenty of friendship between Lisa and Allison, it's just they are so busy blubbering and feeling martyred no one gets to feel any feel good about them, because they never feel good. I think eventually TJ will "get it". TJ has a prob with communication skills, and no one is teaching her an alternative to her method. Jill too, is getting it. Both are working very hard to Start Over. I think the warm fuzzies will come with Jill, Jessica & TJ. I think we will all feel the graduations are a sick joke with Allison, Lisa and Christina.

Allison thinks she's giving off the warm fuzzys---but it's something else all together. It's anger, hostility, rage, madness, and more, all wrapped up in something that looks good on the outside. I don't think it helps that Lisa truly seems to be stuck at the emotional age of 12, or that Christine is always trying to figure out who has the power or the money (they're interchangeable in her mind)---so she can justify her "strippin'" past. "My _________________ (dad, boyfriend, husband, pimp, etc., etc. made me strip. I did't want to do it. That's why I got into 'escorting"---better money, more freedom. After all, I did have my precious son to think about. TJ? Well, she missed her calling---she would have done real well as a Drill Instructor. Just think of the fun she could have dealing with a bunch of recruits? Jessica? Well, she's played coy---as if her mother's tragic death was the only issue, but I'm sure we'll learn of more---there is still time for a couple of surprises. Jill. She may not be the most warm and fuzzy person, but I think with JIll---what you see is what you get.

I agree with you, Moondreamer. I think out of all of them, TJ and Jill are the only two that TRULY care about the other housemates. TJ is genuinely a great person and she TRIES to connect but is always pushed away. Everyone got mad at her for trying to talk to Alliwhine about her drinking. Everyone else wanted her to drop it. Jill tries to be a good Acountability Partner but Lisa gets offended and defensive about everything she says. You'd think Lisa would be called out on being so defensive but I don't think Rhonda has really noticed or she has chosen not to.

Welcome Moosey!!!!! I love SO, watched it all 3 seasons. Love the different types of women. How boring it would be if no one had "problems". I get something positive out of every single show. I think it would be impossible to get all women there that we posters would like.

Yes, it sure seems like the new group is a lot warmer and more caring.
