stunnerphil 30 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 06-11-07, 05:15 PM (EST) "Possible contestant " LAST EDITED ON 06-11-07 AT 05:18 PM (EST) I was looking at a site on wrestling spoilers and backstage,behind the scenes stuff and found an interesting article: "- We received an email from reader Jason Christolo telling of an encounter with WWE superstar Paul London in a local airport. The fan says after chatting with London for a bit and asking what it was like working with Ashley Massaro, London said Ashley was written out of the WWE storylines because she's leaving to be a contestant on the Survivor reality show. Take this for what its worth now, until we hear some official announcement on Ashley being on Survivor. This could explain her "suspension" on SmackDown! this past week." Guess it's too much to ask that they stick to "normal" people. Also, have they started filming yet? Something about being linked to the cast before filming starts usually results in the contestant being replaced with someone who hasn't been spoiled yet. So the likelyhood of her actually being on the show becomes lessened with every "rumor" out there. *crosses fingers*   Top

"Survivor sources on the web are saying that Ashley Massaro may have been booted from the Survivor: China in the past two days. Ashley has also logged onto her official MySpace page today, 8/2." so it seems she made it to at least final 4 if it is true.   Top

I read somewhere (TDT? elsewhere?) that he is a master at psychological tricks as he's well known for getting into the heads of his poker opponents to help him win competitions. Probably means nothing as it would have been a very useful skill to have in Survivor Borneo or Survivor Thailand (with lame-brained casts) but it's worth keeping an eye on to see if he goes far. ETA: Found on his profile on TDT... Jean-Robert Bellande ('Bobby' to his friends) ... Bobby's known for his brash, borderline obnoxious table persona, so he'll probably be fun on Survivor. Obvs. this is not a solid lock, as poker players are notorious pranksters/prop-bet fiends, but the guys who are indicating that they know about this are known pros in that community, not random anon. trolls." . . . Jean Robert Bellande is a New York City-born nightclub owner and promoter who now resides in Hollywood, CA. He is known as 'Action Bob' for his fast play and vigorous personality. And if he believes this part then he must be unfamiliar with how Survivor is played: A campaign was started on May 1, 2007 by Parkour.NET portal to preserve parkour's philosophy against sport competition and rivalry. Defenders argue that competition pushes people to fight against others for the satisfaction of a crowd and/or the benefits of a few business people by changing its mindset.   Top

This is a guy used to staying mentally focused for long periods of time. Poker tournaments can last for days, and the WSOP is well over a month from start to finish. One lapse in concentration, and you could be out the door. One big difference - in poker, you can be obnoxious and still stick around if you play well. In Survivor, you tick off enough people, and they'll vote you off. I have no doubt he can handle the strategic side of it, but it remains to be seen if he can avoid ticking people off long enough to show it. But when I've watched him play, he's shown that he could make Johnny Fairplay's dead grandmother look like a grade school trick.   Top
