"Gretchen in Minneapolis, Aug-15 Tuesday"
Second day for Gretchen on Minneapolis' KS95 FM Van & Sheryl radio show. Here are some highlights:
1.The station had someone named Adam going to the inner city, looking for a rat, and Van wants Gretchen to cook the rat and he'll eat it.
2.Van talked about the "Rudy applies lotion to gay Rich" eBay painting (http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=405321762) and he said he's thinking of placing a bid on it before the auction ends, have Gretchen bring it to LA for the town meeting, and get Rich and Rudy to autograph it. Also, Gretchen thinks the painting is so cool and considers it "bathroom art."
3.Gretchen said it "hurts" her to visit survivorsucks.com because folks here are too critical. Van & Sheryl discussed the site. Gretchen thinks the review about Ramona having the largest breasts this side of Pagong and Rich having the largest in Tagi was hilarious.
4.Gretchen used to teach people how to endure torture. She said the guys who endured it hit on her afterwards and would ask her out.
5.Gretchen has never been to the Mall Of America, and they went there today from 11 am to 1 pm.
6.Gretchen thought the beetle larvae was good cooked. Also, the survivors couldn't take a swig of water until the larvae was swallowed whole. They also had to chew it because the worms were too big. Gretchen revealed that BB said that the worms tasted like having a booger in your mouth.
7.During the obstacle course challenge (Episode 6), Gretchen almost conked a cameraman on the head while putting the planks across the platforms.
8.Some of the crewmembers, specially Jeff Probst, didn't like Greg because he always played with them on interviews when they asked him to comment on the state of affairs or right after challenges.
9.Gretchen didn't have a single scar. Sand fleas caused Colleen's sores and that Colleen kept scratching them. The mosquito spray draws the fleas instead of repelling them.
10.Van asked Gretchen is there were love affairs AFTER the show and Gretchen refused to answer.
11.She and Jenna dug the latrine in Pagong camp. Tagi's bathroom facilities were way better than Pagong's.
12.Gretchen said that Richard and Stacey didn't care much for each other.
13.Pagong never found tapioca on their side of the island.
14.She saves clippings about Survivor and it has already filled a Rubbermaid container.
15.The show made fun of Rudy's gay and lesbian obsession. They think Rudy is a closet homosexual because of this. Gretchen just thinks it's because of Rudy's Navy SEAL background.
16.Gretchen's dad is a big fan of Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura.
17.Ramona didn't like the rice and wanted to eat the canned beans right away. After they got back to the US, Gretchen sent Ramona a humongous, 10 pound can of pork and beans.
18.After she got voted off, Gretchen stayed at a hotel in Malaysia and she was walking right behind Joel and she saw a ringworm on the back of Joel's leg.
19.Van's wife was so concerned about tabloid reports when Van went up to Gretchen's hotel room to help her with the luggage and opening the magnetic lock door.
20.Gretchen did not skinny dip but Colleen and Greg did at night.
21.Colleen had a big confrontation with Richard on Tagi beach regarding his nudity. Even Richard told that to Gretchen when they had lunch or otherwise met.
22.If David Letterman had trashed her when she appeared on his show, Gretchen would have given it back to him and poked fun at him too.
23.Bruce Willis called Gretchen a babe but her husband just thinks she's average.
24.When they were on the boat, and right before they jumped off to paddle/swim for the island, Richard was trying to psych and intimidate them all out by saying things like "You're wasting your time, the money is mine."
25.When Gretchen arrived at Minneapolis airport, Van called Sheryl and said "The eagle has landed."

a: showed on camera rudy eating more than his share of things.
bragged he wasn't losing weight. maybe he thought it was cook's privilege
q: rudy told a story of when he was in the military...?
a: he went with some others in a boat on a mail run. when they got back, everybody was gone
had to fend for themselves for 6 months. sold things off the boat to the natives.
rudy said he made a lot of money on the deal. he could fend for himself
q: did anyone ever try to get outside contact?
a: tried to get info out of sean's dad. maybe the producers told him
not to say anything
q: do they kick 3 ppl off on last episode?
a: starts w/4. 2 hrs long. the last 3 went quick. didn't have days and days between them
