zzbo 1 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 08-05-05, 09:17 AM (EST) "The vote" I think maybe the vote to see who comes back that were previously evicted might be fixed. I voted for Kaysar and submitted it. Then I pushed the back button on my browser and low and behold my vote had been changed to Eric. Try it and see for yourself   Top

I'll post it here so we can talk about it here rather than make the poor moderators lock more threads. At first I didn't see that it was true but I didn't try to click on anyone and didn't notice that some of them were unclicable. On the vote for who is next and who will will the whole thing you can vote for Crappy, but not the other hamsters that are up for coming back to the house. I sent a complaint about it to CBS from where you can do that on the website asking if it were a programming glitch, but letting them know it gives the appearance they they have made up their minds and aren't going to really count the votes at all anyway, just put Eric back in the game regardless of America's choice. We will see if they fix it. If they reply I will let you know. A Syren Creation   Top

But I DO have a problem voting in the "love 'em or leave 'em" section - at home and at work, when I try to vote, I get "page cannot be displayed" or some other error. I see a few of you are saying that it is fixed because Erics name shows as an option to win or be evicted in the love em/leave em. But so does K's and M's name.....in fact EVERYONE is listed, evicted or not. If it was not there before the announcement of a HG being voted back in, that is because that would be a "spoiler" to their big secret.   Top

It is that if you look at the buttons you click on to vote for the various houseguests the click buttons are shaded for the other evicted houseguests and you cannot vote for them. Eric's button is unshaded and you can vote for him the two polls. Why just him?? Why did only his button unshade and become clickable?? Now CBS has a long history of glitches on the website, so it is probably just the programmer screwing up, again. EDIT TO ADD UPDATE. I just checked CBS.com. Seems all the complaints have been heard and they have now shaded Eric's name so he matches the other evicted houseguests. This morning it was still the you could vote for Eric way.   Top

"RE: The vote" well, I just voted (for Kaysar) and clicked the back button and it was still on Kaysar, I did this a couple of times to just be sure. Could have been a glich or maybe you thought you voted for Kaysar and accidently voted Eric, I don't know. I think that it would be stupid of Big Brother to rig the vote considering just on their site alone it shows that Kaysar is the favorite and it seems to be the same for other Big Brother sites, so it would be too obvious and would probably hurt their ratings.   Top
