"Evolution of Survivor ethics - what's next?"
Remember in S1 the controversy about alliances? Many people, including players, thought that making an alliance was unethical. Now, it is an obvious and basic part of the game. Not only that, it seems as if lying to fellow players is also acceptable. Even Rodger admitted to it. Nothing wrong with deception; it's part of almost every game. Sports have their fakes and dekes, bridge has false-carding, poker has the bluff. As long as everybody agrees on what is acceptable and part of the game. So what will we see in S3 and on? Will Jerri's frame-up of Kel become standard practice? In the game of Diplomacy each of 7 players is country in pre-WWI Europe. No dice or cards. You have to make deals with other players and everything is allowed, but when the move is written, nothing is binding. What we see from future crops of players?
