Before going over the rules again, I think it's important to note that a player who is AFRAID OF LEAVES is still in the game. With that out of the way... The Rules 1. Please put the name of your choice for this week's bootees IN THE SUBJECT HEADING! This is really easy. Just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlows Tribe, It's Time to Vote!" and replace with your vote, i.e., Aras. This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Oh, and btw... nicknames are tougher to tally unless they're REALLY obvious without actually reading your vote. 2. Reply ONLY to this post! Curves on women are good. Curves on vote threads are bad. The first part bears repeating: I like curves on women (which would explain why I haven't seen any episodes this season). Y'know, I'm not sure if I've been clear enough about this. Curves on women are really great things. Y'know what else is good? A nice MLT. Mutton, lettuce, and tomato with just a little bit of mayonnaise. Mmmmm. EXCEPTION TO RULE 2! VOTE CHANGES! If it just so happens that you wanna change your vote for whatever reason, REPLY TO YOUR ORIGINAL POST! Your new post heading should read "VOTE CHANGE: Austin (or Whoever)". That said, there is not an exception to the fact that curves on women are good. 3. THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD! DO NOT TREAT IT AS SUCH! There are plenty of places on the Spoilers Forum to debate the merits of people's arguments. Let's keep it out of here, please. 4. No sig pics! It was suggested that because this can be such a long thread, sig pics make it really hard to load for folks with dial-up connections. So show some respect to your slower brethren (and sistren). His too-hastily televised (and reiterated) alliance with Terry is reminding me of Rudy and Rupert in A$$. Terry might even be true to his word and not vote for Dan, while realizing he probably should go. Alternate pick: the never-seen Ruth Marie.   Top

"Ruth Marie" I hate to see her go, but the FourMan alliance can boot Ruth Marie and stay on target without regrouping. Throwing out Dan would weaken them to an evenly balanced gender-split -- the worst possibility for a gender-based alliance. Regardless of which woman the boys throw out, throwing out a girl gives them 4 to 2. At this point, who cares HOW you improve the odds? Misty's plan just ensures that one of the young gals don't go THIS week. Don't know if that will hold next week, but Misty's plan works as a "dodged that bullet" strategy -- for this week. I really had high hopes for Ruth Marie ... and Tina. It would be nice if they tried to oust Misty and she had to burn the Immunity Idol to stay, and Ruth Marie just wound up being the "back up" evictee, but I don't think Misty really has the Idol this week -- just good hands.   Top

I just don't think it's Dan's turn to go yet....as the semi celebrity of the group I think he's got to have more of a story. But like VS says, it's LaMina's first boot and the first boot historically is the OLD one, the bossy one, or the one who goes against the grain of the group the most....shall we say the "antisocial" one. As the oldest one on the tribe, and judging from the vidcaps perhaps the "weakest" one in the group it could very well be Dan. Ruth Marie was indeed invisible in the second episode, thus she could be a "hidden boot". BUT, we all KNOW that she is the one without an alliance, we are supposed to assume if La Mina were to go to TC that she would be the boot as she has no alliance(too easy, imo). Perhaps though RM indeed has an alliance and it's just not been revealed to us....you never know. Perhaps she is in one and it will hold. I think she's likely to go with the older guys....I could be wrong. Misty got her due in ep 1 clearly because she was the first one to be exiled. She doesn't want to reveal her brains. In ep 2 she was hidden, so she could be a "surprise boot". She is prominently featured in the preview vidcaps with revealing a strategy to gain the young guys favor with massaging Nick's neck....will her strategy work, I think it may not. I think that it might sway Nick, but I question Austin....he's the one that's spiritual and religious and he'll be the one who's very conflicted....he got them into an alliance first....I just don't know if he'll go against the older guys. This will reveal Nick as a traitor, thus setting him up to be an earlier boot.... I just don't think it's Dan's time to go yet....I could well be wrong.   Top

"Dan" We already know from Nick's bio and Austin's comment that these two WANT to be allied with hot girls. Terry asked for a premature commitment and now Nick and Austin need to do weasel imitations to go the way they prefer--but will that stop them? Why would it? They didn't go to Terry and there's no indication they like the all-male alliance beyond the fact it protects them with a majority. But wait, so does hooking up with the hot girls! Such a dilemma. Honor or hormones? If Terry wants the vote to go towards gamer Misty or spear-sinking-Sally, Nick and Austin either prove their loyalty and get stuck with old dudes or they assert themselves and show Terry who controls the vote. Why target RuthMarie? Target the other half of the power alliance and break it up or it's potentially dangerous down the road. Leaving Terry with no ally is a smart move. He will still win challenges for them! I would have liked Dan to get more story. I would have liked for Willard to get more story. Didn't happen. Aside from alliance strategy, I do think the young people will pick Dan as the weak link. If Terry insists on holding on to Dan, that should be enough to make Nick/Austin decide to flip in order to keep the strongest tribe. Just in case the backrub didn't do it.   Top
