Molaholic 9015 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 09-02-04, 10:27 PM (EST) "Chip and Kim's Wild Taxi Ride" OK, so the Chipster and KimbraLove don't read clues so good. Not the first team. Not the first time. But let's ponder this -- any time that a team has failed to follow transportation instructions, the penalty has been basically the time they saved (by driving instead of walking), or whatever. So, since there was nothing but airport bunching following the taxi/drive yourself snafu, what time penalty would have been handed out? Enforcing the penalty at the pit stop makes no sense either since the potential foul was so early in the leg. Whatdaya say everyone? A.S.S. What should they have recieved a penelty? When they reread the clue and realized their mistake, they went back to WallyWorld (or whatever it was), picked up their vehicle and went to the airport as they should have. They lost some time, but they did what they were instructed to do. What's the problem? I'm PhillyDon and I approve this post.   Top

"RE: Chip and Kim's Wild Taxi Ride" Sometimes penalties are pretty bad, remember the Mom and daughter team that got a 12hour penalty for using a cab instead of the train or bus or whatever they were supposed to take. Also, Chip and Kim knew that the time they made a mistake before by not getting the marker across the street from the hotel that they had to go back and do that. So they were probably thinking whatever penalty they would have gotten would have been bad. PhillyDon, I believe the discussion is "what if" they hadn't gone back, no one thinks they should have gotten a penalty since they did go back.   Top
