sticks 1165 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Politically Incorrect Guest" 01-23-02, 12:50 PM (EST) "2001 Awards?" Were there Blowies for 2001? I tried to look in the archives, but I couldn't find anything. If there was, I would love to see a list. Thanks.   Top

"No" The "explosion" of reality TV hit in January 2001, with the debut of "The Mole", "Temptation Island", and "Survivor 2". In 2000, the only shows covered by RTW were "The Real World", "Eco-Challenge", "Big Brother", and "Survivor". Thus, no competition equals no Blowies. Had there been Blowies in 2000, I think they would have looked something like this: Best Show -- Survivor Worst Show -- Big Brother Favorite Contestant -- Rudy, Survivor Least Favorite Contestant -- Susan, Survivor Best Villain -- Richard, Survivor Best Sweetheart -- Colleen, Survivor et cetera, with Survivor sweeping virtually everything.   Top
