buzzk 1 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 03-31-04, 01:09 PM (EST) "AMY is the best! Fantasia SUCKS!" Amy has not been getting the recognition from the judges that she deserves. She has the best voice. She is a tremendous singer. Maybe she doesn't have the cute sexy appearance that the judges feel a female American Idol should have. She was even compared to Jay Leno. I feel she sings much better than Fantasia. Fantasia has a very annoying slur when she sings. I don't care for the funny faces that she has a habit of making. I'm sorry, but she just makes me sick - yet the judges are rolling out the red carpet for her. OPEN YOUR EARS JUDGES - Fantasia sucks. Amy is the best!   Top

I think the voters have pretty much decided that Amy is mediocre unless doing a Celine Dion impersonation. Unless she has a big upsurge in performances, she'll probably do no better than 6th or 7th. Fantasia, on the other hand, despite a off-putting attitude, has handled all the different themes very well.   Top

I don't care for her attitude but she does have an interesting a good voice. I like Amy lots but I don't think she has a great voice. I love her attitude and her personality and I do think that Simon in particular gives her a harder time than she deserves, but to say she is the best is a bit of a stretch. But keep voting for her. I think that Fantasia is mostly joking around with Simon than being a "diva" so to speak. Maybe, that's just her nature. I know, I haven't taken offense to her attitude as most folks here have. Side note: I'm not a big fan of Amys..I feel like she sounds like alot of others that are already on the radio now...I think that's why I LOVE Fantasia...she's got a great voice, great control and has kept up her performances as the weeks go by. I tend to agree with the judges about Amy...too safe.   Top
