"The Mersaydeez Spoiler Summary" |
LAST EDITED ON 03-19-05 AT 03:36 AM (EST)Updated 3/19 12:37am. The following is a summary of the Mersaydeez Spoiler arranged in the approximate order in which the events would occur. It has been updated after EP5… The actual quotes can be found in the original Mersaydeez Spoiler Thread here: http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/cgi-bin/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=5732&forum=DCForumID2&omm=0 Or in the first Mersaydeez Highlight Thread here: http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/cgi-bin/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=5753&forum=DCForumID2&omm=0 According to Mersaydeez:
It’s unclear if there is a switch or not. Ibrehem doesn't get switched, if there is one in EP3. Bobby Jon and Ibrehem are not the next two to go. Jeff gets hurt and “quits.” Ibrehem will take the role of the "nail holder" while building the latrine. The latrine building is part of the Home Depot challenge. Kim goes before Angie. Willard goes pre-jury. The winning tribe in EP5 gets to eat beef stew. Angie and Willard arrive at Loser Lodge together as a result of the EP5 Double boot TC. As of November 13th, Stephenie was the last girl on Ulong. (According to TDT's calendar - November 12th is the date of the double boot.) Stephenie was able to convince Ibe and Bobby Jon to keep her around. Ibrehem goes late pre-jury. It’s unclear if he makes the merge or not, but he doesn’t make the jury. The immunity challenge that is the last one before the jury (don't know what # that would be), is a fire starting competition. ... It's either Ibrehem/Bobby Jon vs Stephenie in that challenge. But Mersaydeez believes it to be Ibrehem, since he goes late pre-jury. Stephenie wins that challenge. From what Mersaydeez gathers, they have a challenge which decides who goes on vacation, and who joins the jury. Stephenie wins. She definitley spends a night alone… Literally, alone. Mersaydeez was told - "that's never happened before". Plus, she would be alone, for many many many nights if it was the case of having nobody in her old tribe, when she was just told "a night". Wanda and Ibrehem went on separate vacations. Kim, Jeff and Jonathan went somewhere together on vacation. Bobby Jon, Ashlee and Ibrehem went to Australia on vacation. After the merge, Katie and Jen didn't get along with Stephenie. Tom does kill the shark. Jen and Gregg have a little island romance. The jury (F9) is made up of 8 original Koror and 1 original Ulong. Willard is the only original Koror to not make the jury. Stephenie is the only original Ulong to make the jury. By a process of elimination Coby and Janu are the first two members of the jury,. Finishing 9th and 8th. Stephanie doesn’t make F6…but she outlasts more than one Koror on the jury, therefore by deductive reasoning would be finish in 7th place. Gregg wins the Palua Agressor II Yacht Reward and takes Jen and Katie. (It’s unclear if family members are involved or not.) It also involves swimming with the Dolphins and breakfast and showers, so it’s probably an overnight reward. Greg is eliminated around the time of this reward. Gregg finishes 6th, Caryn 5th. Corvette might be a reward around Caryn's boot. The timing of the Palau Aggressor II Reward and Jen’s participation, puts her in the final four. Tom, Katie and Ian are 3 of the F4. (The Palau Agressor II information puts Jen in the final 4 as well) Katie makes F2. So based on the Mersaydeez Spoiler Summary: EP5: Angie and Willard EP6: James EP7/EP8: Bobby Jon and Ibrehem EP9/EP10: Janu and Coby EP11: Stephenie EP12: Gregg EP13: Caryn EP14: Final 4, Jen, Tom, Ian and Katie...Final 2 Katie and ??? 1. "Recent Mersaydeez Posts..." |
Here are Mersaydeez's recent posts (after the airing of EP4) The information in these posts are included in the original post summary:From Mersaydeez: Re: Just some spoilers... So what do I know about the Palau Aggressor II reward? Gregg wins, and takes Jen and Katie. I highly believe this to happen around Gregg's boot, since I was told that if he would of chosen someone else to go in his place, he could of made it further. Also, if you check TDT's calendar, around the time of the 6th boot is the end of November. Plus DanBollinger had first posted in late December that the Palau Aggressor II was used in late November and TDT posted information about the captain log book, where there seems to be a missing entry for this time frame. The only thing that is different, is that my information tells me 3 Survivors go on this reward (Gregg taking Jen and Katie). Also, Wezzie/Dan had information that this was the family reward, I was never told that part but it is still very possible. Not that this is really that much of a spoiler, but swimming with the dolphins was also mentioned to me to be part of this reward (also showers and breakfast, so maybe it's overnight?). ...and the most important thing about this is that the timing would mean Jen is that final missing person into the final 4. When I had Steph as final 6, and that turned out wrong... I don't think I was too far off. I was told she outlasts more the one Koror in the jury.. so that would have to be atleast 2, without her making the final 6... so that would be 7th place. So if this reward happens on either 7th person booted or Gregg booted... it would still make Jen the missing piece to the final 4. Re: Just some spoilers... They keep her around for awhile. RE: Steph info changing. No, it won't be. I misunderstood something the first time, and I got clarification on those certain events. I totally understand now what my source is saying, I believe it to be true. As far as my source not being the only one out there... I know that. If you are referring to the Bobby Jon rumors... Have you seen this link? If you don't want to go to the article... this is what I'm pointing out: Quote: "Bobby Jon came home from Australia in December, right after they had filmed the show," she said. "He had lost 20 pounds and he ate like he was starving to death. But, I knew that he was all right so when the show came on, I wasn't nervous at all. But, if the show had not been taped and I had been watching as it happen, I would really have been nervous Sand worried."
What did I say before? Ashlee, Ibrehem, and Bobby Jon all went to Australia for their pre-jury vacation. Edited by: Mersaydeez at: 3/11/05 12:44 am
Re: Just some spoilers... I don't really know how it plays out and why exactly they keep her (Caryn) around, but that is the information I got.
Re: Just some spoilers... Coachocd - it's all good. I know you were not slamming me. Pick apart my posts, it's for the best and it should be done IMO... but if someone is saying something that isn't necessarily true or maybe if I didn't clarify enough in my original post, and someone is getting the wrong idea... I will just go over it again. Edited by: Mersaydeez at: 3/11/05 12:54 am Re: Just some spoilers... My information was Stephenie vs an Ulong male (either Bobby Jon or Ibrehem, most likely Ibrehem)... Stephenie wins a close fire starting immunity challenge and makes the jury.

TDT has updated his Survivometer and arranged the remaining contestants in reverse boot order. His prediction is based heavily on the Mersaydeez Spoiler, supplemented by a few other bits of gathered information.Ian Katie Tom Jennifer Caryn Gregg Stephenie Janu Coby Ibrehem Bobby Jon James Angie/Willard There are no suprises here, but don't forget Snewser's warning, issued after Mersaydeez and Redqueencheckmate posted conflicying spoilers: "Everyone is wrong in the long run. Some will be ducking for cover tomorrow night. Others will initially appear heroes, but beware." The question now is will Mersaydeez be "wrong in the long run", or does the "Everyone" in the warning include Snewser himself? Krautboy

Yeah, I know I haven't been around spoiling for the past seasons, but I know even snews has had one or two wrong in the past. I just find that there is a lot of colaborative info supporting this bootlist at the moment, but we'll see...one or two could be wrong of course. On the other hand, I'm hoping it's wrong lol, because I don't like the order, ha.

20. "where's Jolanda?" |
Is it significant that Jolanda isn't listed as going on vacation with anyone?I know the theory runs that we have a double elimination this week, with both teams going to TC. But, the only time I remember a double elimination was when we had the ghost tribes, returning players. At that time both teams lost to the ghost team and had to booted a player. 2 ghost players returned. What if this time only 1 team lost to the ghost team? Who would the ghost team vote into the game? The logical choices would be Jonathan or Jolanda I would think. So, Is it significant that Jolanda isn't listed as going on vacation with the others?

Maybe Jolanda thought LL was heaven and spent all of her time there planning a run for political office. But, I didn't think they kept the pre Jury boots at LL when the jury started showing up.It seems to me Jolanda SHOULD be going on vacation SOMEWHERE if she's still out of the game when Jury starts to show up. Maybe she went on vacation alone. Maybe she wasn't memorable enough to list. I don't know what to make of it. I'm just suggesting we use caution and consider the fact that she's not on the list (atleast that I've seen). It seems to me it should be considered, and not just shoe horned into the spoilers at hand.

Re: Just some spoilers... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "If" Steph and Ibe do compete in this fire-making challenge as the last two of Ulong, and from what I heard someone does gets kidnapped (a male), that would leave Bobby Jon as the only logical one to get POW'd from Ulong because I just don't see Koror taking James. ------------------------------------------------------------ CMC was right about how Ulong's TC would go down this week. Mersaydeez' new post is more fuel for James being a goner next week. So the way this could work to satisfy both scenarios is that the week after James goes, BJ gets kidnapped by Koror while Ibee and Steph have to compete in the fire-building contest. Ibee loses and leaves, Steph spends a night alone, the tribes merge, and BJ gets voted out first (this would be day 21, I think, meaning he just missed making it to the fourth week, but that may be close enough to satisfy Fp's info.) LAST EDITED ON 03-18-05 AT 12:29 PM (EST)CMC was dead on with the eavesdropping then voting for one on the other tribe to get immunity, thus throwing a big wrench into the voting plan for the losing tribe..... from what I heard someone does get kidnapped(a male) If CMC said this, then I am buying it! It just fits with so much. I am convinced that BJ lands at Koror at some point in this game.....fwiw ETA: This next part has more to do with the editing, as I know VS would love this....I really think that in ep 7 BJ will be involved with the killing of the shark, somehow....thus conquering his fear of sharks, so his story arc can be completed and he could be good to go....who knows, maybe the "great white shark hunter" could be referring to BJ on the hunt for the great white shark of the Koror tribe, Tom...

LAST EDITED ON 03-18-05 AT 09:11 PM (EST)I totally agree, he seems likable and would undoubtedly be grateful for the opportunity. His primary impetus for staying should be because after the tied vote with Angie, he knows he's in imminent danger at Ulong. I was reading through the mersaydeez thread last night. One of the posters lined up the spoilers really well around p. 165. FP was having a problem with booting James over BJ since Ulong considers him an immunity threat. My first thought was that it was because BJ wasn't there to vote out. That would make James at 12, Ib at 11, Steph spends the night alone. Then since we're seeing a weak Janu in previews, perhaps Janu mercy boot at 10. I'm somewhat intrigued by Willard's "Keep to the plan" comment, because I'm hoping they don't and it comes back to bite them. ETClarify: My usual incoherent thoughts.

Also, once they do reach the merge, do you not think the Koror Fraternity of Manly Men(with good hearts) would want to risk Bobby-Jon going on an IC run? This is the guy who carried 80 pounds on his back for hours... They'd pick him while they're looking for someone to benefit their tribe, yes. Are they going to let him stick around long enough to break up their inner circle? No. This is also my theory for why Coby (theoretically, I don't think there's any direct evidence other than process of elimination) goes before Caryn. Caryn is a thorn in everyone's side, yes, but Coby not only has some strength, he has a mind to stir up trouble if they let him stick around too long. This is a smart tribe, who I believe has enough integrity (and the inner circle generally like each other enough, from what we've been shown) to stick to their alliance. Their strength has given them the numbers to do it.

49. "RE: Two more pieces of info" |
I was never saying Stephanie would go on an immunity run, just that the major alliance would vote based on who posed a threat to them, starting with Bobby-Jon. I do see where you're coming from with the fraternity wanting to keep Bobby-Jon, but I think the editing might be tricking us into believing these guys are more wholesome and trusting then they actually are. We haven't needed to see them plotting and scheming yet, but I think it's too early in the game to say that just because they're nice guys with a good attitude and a strong physical presence, they aren't capable of of playing the other aspect of this game just as well. They didn't just vote Willard out because he was weak. They voted him out because they knew he had a strong mind that could become a threat in the latter part of the game. While I'm hesitant to trust it, since there is the 'strategies revealed...' aspect to it, there was that scene EPMB showed us at the beginning with Stephanie having a tentative connection to the majority alliance as well. She, quite frankly, would be rather stupid to join in as the loose sixth member of an alliance, when there is the possibility to create a counterbalance(Coby, Caryn, Janu, Bobby-Jon, and herself), but she might play along for an episode or two. Actually, that's another reason I can see Bobby-Jon and Coby leaving the game a little prematurely. I can't see Coby not jumping at the opportunity to align with people once the numbers are there. He mentioned in the last episode that he didn't want to paint a target on his back by stirring up the pot, which could be suggestive of what he eventually does. So let me paint out a scenario while my mind is running down this tangent: The merge, or whatever they decide to call it, occurs with ten people left. The Fab Five are suddenly not the majority, and decide to bring Stephanie into the group for the sake of numbers, figuring at this point she'll be grateful to them for not voting her out immediately, as opposed to the rest of the original Koror, who are carefully painting targets on the back of each of their heads. Coby, the schemer, has already approached Bobby-Jon as soon as he landed on their beach with the intent to get into his skirt form an alliance to get rid of the super powers. Once Stephanie arrives, they both approach her with this. I'm assuming here that Janu and Caryn really are outside of the Fab Five alliance, which is something that in reality I'm not completely convinced of. Stephanie, then, becomes the swing vote in all of this. We've already seen that she seems to show no real loyalty to Bobby-Jon, and that she places a high value on 'winning', which she would see the other tribe do. We've also been beat over the head with the idea that Ulong really is causing its own destruction by gutting their strength, and that they aren't very good with long term strategy. So, in one final showing of this stupidity, Stephanie joins with Koror to vote out the only other remaining member of her tribe. The next week(9 people remaining), Coby is voted out for daring to organize a movement against Tom(who I'm sure would have been this group's target). If Janu and Caryn aren't actually as outside of the major alliance as we've been led to believe, he may actually be the only one besides BJ to vote for Tom. This treason will be his downfall. At 8 members remaining, Janu becomes the mercy vote. At 7, Stephanie has outlived her usefulness, and if Katie and Jen and her don't get along, she could be the target. Although I do wonder at this point how Caryn is sticking around... By 6, though, a five person alliance starts to be rather redundant, and I'm sure people will start voting a bit more individually. All of this is simply speculation, of course, but it's one way the spoilers could play out that matches the editing, IMHO.

42. "Snewser Explains..." |
LAST EDITED ON 03-19-05 AT 03:40 AM (EST) Remember Snewser's cryptic post, made as Mersaydeez and RedQueenCheckmate faced off before EP2 and Ashlee's boot:
Everyone is wrong in the long run. Some will be ducking for cover tomorrow night. Others will initially appear heroes, but beware. In this recent post over at SSucks, Snewser appears to explain the meaning of his earlier comment: Snewser to Mersaydeez:
You're talking about this? Quote: Bobby Jon, Ashlee and Ibrehem (all late merge I'm sure) went to Australia. Looking back, apparently you were concluding that from your information about vacations, not because it was direct information from your source. I would probably make the same mistake (assuming I believed the vacation info in the first place). There was also some confusion about Stephenie. In the long run, we all get something wrong, don't we? Thus far, it's about as good as could be expected from information transmitted verbally. Your source is obviously very well placed and very naughty. It appears that Snewser's "in the long run" has already taken place as Mersaydeez was already wrong about Ashlee being a late merge, and her early "confusion" about Stephenie making the F6.
Snewser's post is an indirect endorsement of The Mersaydeez Spoiler, telling us that his earlier statement has already come to pass even if the rest of the Mersaydeez Spoiler turns out to be accurate. (Which he must think it may) Snewser also seems to suggest that while Mersaydeez information is good, it's only verbal, and not as reliable as his, which may be video/vidcap information... in other words, Mersaydeez has a good source, but Snewser is still the King.

I am confused about a point though. I can't get past one glitch in thinking - probably a simple thing that I can't see. Anyway, The spoiler that Stephanie beats Ibrehem (or BobbyJon) in a fire starting contest sounds like an individual challenge. But her spending the night alone after winning that challenge seems to indicate that the tribes still had not merged. I just can't blend these two statements in to one clear picture. Anyone help on that? Edited to correct spelling errors.

LAST EDITED ON 03-19-05 AT 11:44 AM (EST)One of the quotes from Mersaydeez: The immunity challenge that is the last one before the jury (don't know what # that would be), is a fire starting competition. The hint that I got is that it comes down to Ibrehem and Steph. And from that, I think its obvious who wins and becomes a member of the jury and who goes on their vacation. Mersaydeez never specified whether the last "immunity challenge" before the jury was a team or individual challenge, nor did her source ever definatively identify her opponent, she concluded from the "hints" that it comes down to BJ or Ibrehem. The spoilers with inside sources(Mersaydeez, Callmeecrazee and Bianca) have all been very reliable. The clearest picture of what will happen is most likely a composite of all of their spoilers combined. One scenario using the current spoilers: Steph is able to talk BJ and Ibe into keeping her around...(Mersaydeez) and James goes in EP6 BJ/Ibe get "kidnapped" (Callmeecrazee Spoiler) in EP7 (the reward?),Ibe/Bj gets voted out, by either Koror or Ulong, after being returned. EP8 we still have two tribes, Ulong with just Ibe/BJ and Steph. Ulong loses the last team IC (fire building?) and a second fire building challenge is used as a tiebreaker instead of TC to determine who goes home between Steph and Ibe/Bj. Steph wins and spends the night alone (Mersaydeez), before being absorbed into Ulong the next day, so no green merge buff is needed.(Bianca Spoiler) Krautboy

51. "Katie and Tom" |
LAST EDITED ON 03-19-05 AT 01:03 PM (EST)TDT and The Game have both recently updated their "Survivometer's" to move Tom into the top stop. Not sure if it's the St. Patrick day pics or the recent editing or Mersaydeez's recent clarification's of her original posts about Tom and Katie as her "guess" for the F2. The first quote is an earlier post from Mersaydeez. The second is a recent clarification post: Re: Just some spoilers...
I don't know the final 2, that is one thing that I wanted the most that I couldn't get. If I had to guess, from the information I gathered - I would say Katie and Tom. But that is just an educated guess of course. Who went vacation with Wanda? No idea. I know Ibe, Bobby Jon and Ashlee went to Australia together. Kim, Jeff and Jonathan went somewhere together. I don't know where everyone else went. Re: Just some spoilers... Just for clarification, I don't know if it is Katie/Tom for sure... but that is just my educated guess on the info I got. I agree, Tom would win... he does kill the shark afterall. Re: I don't know who the other final 2 is. I always thought it was Tom, how my source talked about him. Whether Tom makes the final 2 or not... that was just my guess and not spoiler information.
If it ends up that Mersaydeez read the "hint" about Ibrehem correctly, and he ends up facing off against Steph in the firebuilding challenge...then I'd say Mersaydeez probably read her source's "hint" about Tom correctly as well.
We'll have to see... Krautboy

This would make me very happy. I think Tom really deserves to win. I wonder how Tom and Katie end up in the F2 and not Ian. Who wins the Final Immunity and doesn't take Ian? Or do Katie and Jenn team up and take Ian out at F4. In that way I could see Tom taking Katie to the F2.

Ok, so Koror kidnapped either Ibe or BJ. In Ep7. And which ever it is, Ibe or BJ - it sounds like they get voted out in Ep7 when Ulong goes to TC.In Ep8. Steph competes against the last Ulong male for immunity and wins. The merge is 8 Koror, 1 Ulong. The only question is which Ulong male goes in Ep7, and which one goes E8. After the last TC, I have a hard time believing BJ would vote with Steph against Ibe. BJ has to know at this stage that Steph lied to him after "giving her word", and BJ seems to respect Ibe. IF/When it comes to a vote, I think it's almost assured that BJ will vote against Steph rather than side with her against Ibe - I suspect it's a matter of "playing with honor". We know BJ and Ibe don't align against Steph. So, it sounds to me like BJ is kidnapped, and it gives Steph and Ibe a chance to plot against him. Ibe joins Steph and BJ goes to Loser Lodge. I think BJ will see this a "smart game play" and not hold a grudge. The 3 then go on vacation together.

(Psst...RB, your sig pic's too tall.) I don't think Janu's going to be booted before Coby. The only way she'd leave before him is if she quit.
Coby is the first target of the Koror 5 post-merge: - He's been doing much better in challenges than Janu and Caryn, so he's a bigger threat to destroy the pecking order. - We've been shown Tom consoling and encouraging Janu. She is the least likely in the lesser alliance to be willing to betray him. - If Tom, Ian, or Katie have the slightest reason to believe that Coby has been plotting against them, they will remove the threat while they can. The only question in my mind is why Gregg and Jenn don't realize that this is the time that they need to break away from their alliance if they plan to betray Tom, Ian, and Katie. After all, if Steph or Caryn vote with them, that's a 5-4 win. In Ep7 previews, we're shown Tom questioning the Gregg/Jenn alliance. Is Caryn somehow used as a pawn to test their loyalty? Based on the conversation Gregg had with Coby, they believe Caryn would be the next target, but is the target changed to Coby to test Gregg to see where his true loyalties lie? Bebo I can see where you are coming from with the pick of Coby going before Janu. However I think we have been given way too much infomation about Gregg's plan for the endgame to have Coby one of the main coggs involved in it to go this soon. Coby and Gregg are the only two Koror game players at this time. Both of them realise that Tom/Katie/Ian alliance must be broken for either of them to have a chance progressing to the final 4.Gregg and Coby need each other to progress to their future goals. IMHO Losing one or the other at this critical time in the game will directly lead to the demise of both.RedBeard

I originally had Stephenie in my final 6, because I misinterpeted something my source had said, but after going over it with my source again, I corrected it a few days later. It can definitley be confusing if you have only read the first couple pages. I changed my first post so there wouldn't be any confusion, but I had left all the others in between. And Thumpus is correct, from a reward that happens around the final 6, I put Jen in there as the other person. To everyone who wrote haiku's... those were all so funny! Hi, I think you can go through the knot tying challenge 2 episodes and see what the people who are not swimming and who are not participating are wearing. After you do that, look at the pics of what is supposed to be this week's IC. Look at what the people who are sitting to the side are wearing, look at what the people who are on the mat are wearing. Notice the people who are competing are dressed the same way. Look at their feet. You may come to the same conclusion I did, but if I am correct it will not help determine how the IC ends.

Yeah, I don't have a cryptic bone in my body. Edited by: Mersaydeez at: 4/19/05 7:19 pm It says: " It is Episode 11 Letters from home Ian Wins Immunity Stephenie joins the jury" Krautboy

Maybe I'm a little slow here, but I'm getting the vibe that Ian and Tom dont end on a very good note with each other. Am I wrong, or is there in a spoiler somewhere that I have missed? -lani

>I'm getting the vibe >that Ian and Tom dont >end on a very good >note with each other. Am >I wrong, or is there >in a spoiler somewhere that >I have missed? -lani Weren't there photos of the three guys (Tom, Ian & Gregg) hanging out (and possibly partying) together for St. Patricks Day in NYC? That would indicate that they get along, or if they hadn't that all is forgiven, etc. Would 2 losing alpha men want to hang out with the winning alpha? Generally because people want to view themselves as winners, they like to hang out with "other winners". But wouldn't human nature make them resentful of the winner? Could this be a clue that Tom is not the sole survivor? Flipper"Whatever!"

After Janu left Ian is the leanest tribe member left. After 8 hours I could see Ian so weak that he has no choice but to step off and collapse.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Wezzie, we appreciate you jumping over hear to give us a post now and then! Now, are you saying that Ian is the 11 hour person that makes it that long, or is he the one that bails after 8 hours? Sorry, a bit confused, as usual!Fp

Thanks to Wezzie and Krautboy for posting that hint about the 11 hour endurance challenge at the final 3, I hadn't seen it before. It makes sense, endurance challenges are favorites for the last challenge. I could see how a Tom/Katie final 2 could emerge with Ian finishing 3rd, a tall, gangly guy like him just typically doesn't do that well at balance/endurance challenges, although 8 hours is phenomenal. In other seasons women typically have done better at balance/endurance challenges, although all the women caved at the water balance/food temptation challenge this season. Tom's performance surprised me at that challenge, a muscular guy like him, an older guy, I expected him to cave, but he was really determined. It reminded me of how Kim and Twila had won balance/endurance challenges, pretty much surprising everyone. So Tom won't cave, Katie, is not blessed with extraordinary grace and endurance, but if she lasts between 8 and 11 hours, she did a great job. After Ian bails, it pays for her to step off for a number 2 finish, if she can get Tom to say he will bring her to the final 2. Everybody theoretically could win, Tom takes someone who the jury may view as disliked and undeserving into the final 2, Katie gets to plead her case and claim she was true blue to the end, she didn't overtly screw people and she didn't have to sell our her boy Ian. Flipper"Whatever!"
