Have you ever been to a party where you didn't know the host or most of the guests? If so, did you walk in, make the party your own and then tell everybody how YOU wanted the party to be? It's the same way here. We welcome all new guests who are willing to play by the hosts rules and make an effort to get along with the rest of the guests. I think if you were to go back and read some of the archives you will find that the people that came in with attitude did not stay long. Post whatever you would like but keep them within the guidelines. I think if you look at the number of "guests" at the party you will see that there are many people who have learned to get along with one another. The people that are getting some attitude from some of the peeps that have been here a long time are those peeps that are coming in with an attitude and not playing by the guidelines or using our boards proper etiquette. You will see that there are plenty of "newbies" here that have been welcomed with open arms. It is my thread, my post, and my preference! Although I'm not a mod on the AI forum, I am a mod on other forums here, and I'm going to disagree with you on exercising your "preferences". If you'll take a moment to look at the community guidelines (there's a link at the top of the page), posters are advised to discuss "thoughtfully and respectfully". On all message forums, not just this one, posting in all caps is considered shouting and a breach of etiquette. And if you'd looked at those guidelines, you would have noticed that A) Posters are politefully asked not to spoil show information for other posters and B) Posters are asked not to post duplicate topics. Again, it's not just etiquette applied here, but on all message forums, to take some time to get the "lay of the land" before jumping in and posting. It's not too much to ask for people to find out the rules of a game before starting to play. Some of the folks on this forum were trying to nicely advise you of how things are done around here, since you hadn't bothered to find out for yourself. Snarky, smart, S7 Anti-Bootee Champ   Top

I am also on the West Coast, and I am so glad I read the posts before the show...the 'spoilers' took out the anxiety and I could just relax. I love that just before the gals were to sing again...Paula mysteriously disappears...could it be she couldn't sit through another horrifying rendition of Yellow Brick Road? And isn't it just like Paula to offer such encouraging advice? Wonder why Simon wasn't given the opportunity to voice his parting words...could it be that we all know what he would've said? How clever to create an enhanced aura of drama by separating the hopefuls into groups of three....give me a break--even without the 'spoiler', I think most viewers could see through that. I'd rather the producers fill space with more ensemble numbers...the medley was good, but the 60's spoof was hysterical. Better than watching reruns of The Match Game!!   Top

A.I. comes down to who can adapt with different genre and with bigger supports and fanbase. By the way, I think Camile accepted the fact that she was a goner since Soul Night. But right now, she was prepared and handled it with class. She even changed the words of "Yellow Brick Road" for her fans, friends and for herself. Camile made me like her more with that. I think both Camile and Jasmine handled the situation with class unlike some of the older ones. Darn, I hope Jasmine and Diana could pull a shocker next week to save and secure themselves in the final 4 spot, along with George and LaToya.   Top
